Architect-designed cabin with fjord views

This vacation home in Bryggja is the only one of its kind in the area, custom-designed for the lot with floor-to-ceiling glass facing south and west. As soon as you step through the glass door in the center of the home, a view opens up directly toward the fjord and mountains.



All walls are clad in wood paneling, creating a warm atmosphere. The lighting is custom-designed, featuring light strips along the walls and hand-blown glass domes above the dining table. There are high ceilings in every room and underfloor heating throughout. Three-meter-high wooden sliding doors separate the bedroom wing from the main living area.



The two largest bedrooms are secluded and private, offering views of the fjord and mountains. In front of the cabin is a large terrace with multiple seating areas, so you can find cozy spots to sit even when it’s a bit windy. The grocery store is 200 meters away without having to cross a road.



Short hikes in the mountains offer views of the fjord and mountains, and there are opportunities to walk along the water. Via ferrata routes are available in Hornelen and Loen, both an hour’s drive away. The Nordfjord Opera House is 25 minutes away, and in Måløy—20 minutes away—you’ll find the restaurant Havfruen, which serves fresh fish straight from the counter. Ski lifts and cross-country trails are 30 minutes away.
