Spectacular

Our family spent Christmas at Villa Tranquila and it will go down as the most memorable Christmas that we've ever had! Doc and Atty were amazing hosts - before our arrival we had some questions which were always answered promptly. Doc and Atty met us upon arrival, giving us a hearty welcome and thorough tour of the villa. A point to note, the property is comprised of two villas - one is the owner's unit (Doc and Atty's) and the other is the rental unit. This is clearly mentioned on the VRBO listing but what I did not understand was that many of the interior photos on VRBO were of the owners unit (which is available for rent occasionally, but not on our visit), therefore, our unit looked different than what I was expecting . That said, our unit was absolutely beautiful. Doc and Atty had a welcome basket in the master and all of our rooms were comfortable and beautiful. While at the villa, we spent most of our free time in the outside pool area , which was meticulously landscaped, had an amazing pool and waterfall, ample sitting areas , a large table for meals or evening games, a pool house complete with fridge for our snacks and beverages and lots of pool toys! The villa and pool area overlook the most stunning views of the bay below - complete with crashing waves , the sound of which, lulled us to sleep each night. Most days we explored the beaches, town of St. Thomas and available activities and Doc and Atty were always happy to give us recommendations of their fave places to go. We had a blast with our adult children and their partners and can't wait to return. Thank you, Doc and Atty, for the vacation of our dreams Lynne and Johh (Jefe) England

The view, the pool!!!

Thank you for a great second visit! The view, the pool, the cliffs (we love to scramble the cliff & rocks to the water), the proximity to Magen’s Bay, and the hospitality.

Island Paradise

Doc & Atty are absolutely amazing hosts! The views at the Villa Tranquility are incredible from every bedroom. My wife and I started and ended every day on the balcony with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We had a very relaxing week and we will definitely be back! Thank You for everything!

Gorgeous home perched on the rocks above the ocean. Tons of space for large family or group.

Could not have been easier. Doc & Atty, the owners were in contact from the start and all the way through our stay. They made us feel well taken care of and we're always available to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again and the pictures don't do this place justice. It's a gorgeous property with plenty of space for a large family or group.

Paradise in St. Thomas

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in all of our travels! The Villa has the most amazing ocean view ever! The way this property is set up offers the utmost of privacy for all guests. The hosts stay in a Villa in the center of the property when they are on the island. The other suites all have their own separate private entrance, and are located on both sides of the of the main Villa. The Pool area is fantastic, with an abundance of lounge chairs with clean guest beach towels to use, a large outdoor dining table, and a grill. The bedrooms had a balcony with plenty of seating and we could enjoy the beautiful views while having breakfast. The beds were also very comfortable! The hosts, Doc and Atty, are the most caring people and went way beyond what we would have expected of any VRBO hosts. When our flight was delayed, and also our connecting flight was delayed, we did not land in St. Thomas until after 10:30 pm. Doc came to the airport and picked us up, along with our luggage, and drove us to the Villa. This was a lifesaver, because we were unable to pick up our rental car that night, due to their office closing earlier in the evening. Driving in St. Thomas is a challenge, because all the roads are hilly, with hairpin turns, along with driving on the left side of the road. It would have been extremely challenging to have driven to the Villa on our own in the dark, never having been there before. Doc also offered to drive us to the rental car place the following day, and even sat to wait for us to get the rental car, then led us to the grocery store as we followed behind him. I can’t say enough about he and his wife being so attentive to our needs and caring for us on this level! We hope to return to this amazing Villa and see Doc & Atty again. This was a spectacular vacation we will always remember!

Absolutely Stunning

My family and I had the best time in St. Thomas! Doc and Atty were the nicest most helpful hosts we’ve ever had. I had a final exam that was due on vacation, and Doc made accommodations for me to connect to a stronger WiFi signal which helped me so much! Honestly the pictures do the property no justice. There is a 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean from every balcony, but it was the sunrises that absolutely took our breath away. At first we were a little nervous because through pictures it looks like the house is isolated and far from everything, but in actuality it is located centrally to everything we wanted to do on the island, and was easily accessible once we learned our way around! I would recommend this property to everyone because we are definitely coming back! Thanks again for the hospitality!

Amazing place and hosts

We had an amazing stay. The property has amazing views, very private and very well taken care of. Doc and Atty were very gracious and accommodating. Can’t say enough how comforting the home and hosts were. We will be back!

Breath taking views

This was, by far, one of the most amazing places we have ever visited. We stayed at the smaller villa, with two bedrooms- which was more than enough space for our family of 4. The views are breath taking, with almost 180 degrees of ocean view. Cannot beat that! We also had access to all the amenities. The house was very clean and we were provided with pretty much everything we needed ( from toiletries to beach towels and beach gear /sunblock) so don’t bother packing your own! The kitchen was small, but very clean and all you needed was there. A definitely plus was the washer and the dryer, especially with small children. There is also a grill available and we took most of our meals outside on the veranda, overlooking the ocean. The pool was refreshing and the kiddos enjoyed it! The villa is located in a gated neighborhood. It was a very short drive to Magen’s beach and about 15 -20 mins from Charlotte Amelie. You do need a car to get around the island. Doc and Atty were very easy to communicate with, very receptive and they did all they could to make our vacation a memorable one! Definitely will return! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Amazing views, hosts & vacation

Our family of 6 spent spring break here. We had access to 4 separate rooms with breathtaking views. The neighborhood is safe & beautiful. The hosts, Doc & Atty were the best anyone could hope for. They were there to greet us upon arrival and available throughout our stay. I was able to spend a little time with Doc and couldn’t be more grateful. They welcomed us as guests and treated us like family. The grounds are amazing and well maintained. We were out and about most the time, but the time we spent at this property was greatly enjoyed.. We made some amazing memories. Thanks Doc & Atty!

Beautiful Stay!

A large group of us stayed here for our spring break to celebrate our graduation from college! It was a beautiful property and Doc and Atty were amazing hosts. They were super responsive and helped us with any issue we had! The property itself left our group of 11 speechless. There was plenty of room for all of us, the bedrooms all had a unique touch to them and the house was spotless when we arrived. The location of the house is perfect, right near Magens bay and on the side of a cliff with beautiful views. We traveled to St. Johns, Magens Bay, Coki Beach and several restaurants in Charlotte Amalie. We definitely hope to come back! Doc and Atty were so wonderful and supportive throughout the entire stay. When I stepped on a sea urchin Doc even drove me to the emergency room. I can't say enough wonderful things about this beautiful Villa, HIGHLY recommend staying here!
