We walked into a beautiful home, exactly as pictured and described. High end furnishings and art work. Perfect for 9 of us. Well-equipped w all our kitchen needs, as we like to cook and grill. The home was very clean and everything worked. Lovely pool with incredible views. Quiet and private area. Very easy 5-minute ride to ferry to St. John. Very easy communication with owners. Would love to stay again.

Fabulous Home with a Breathtaking View!!!

Absolutely beautiful home with an incredibly beautiful view! This was a family vacation with 10 of us (youngest was 21) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was perfect, and the outside space was outstanding! We spent so much time out on the deck by the pool as well as having dinner in the seating area by the outdoor kitchen and many mornings just taking in the view. So many items already provided so definitely check what is there before heading to the grocery. From spices, condiments, paper products, toiletries and laundry detergent, it was pretty well stocked, which felt like a bonus!The owners were amazing...if we had a question, we received a response in minutes, and they were so kind and helpful. Their recommendations from car rentals, restaurants, beaches and sailing, were spot on. All wonderful.I can't say enough good things about the home, about St. Thomas and our family vacation. It was everything we had hoped for!!

Spectacular

Superlatives all around. The VRBO listing is an accurate representation of the property but you just can't capture the beauty of the views until you're there. The house was well laid out for a family group of ten and was very well appointed for all of our needs. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments and any cooking/eating need. Excellent communication with host and property manager. The kids loved the pool. All systems in the house functioned well. Unqualified recommendation.

Great Vibe & Location

We are a family of five including three college-aged children and this place was perfect for us. Very comfortable space and plenty of room both in/out for everyone to spread out. Quiet, well kept, lived-in vibe with great pool and excellent views. Loved the mix of artwork throughout, watching the boat traffic from the deck, internet service worked well and the villa was stocked with any and everything you could ever need to enjoy an island vacation. Owner communication was excellent throughout. Local property manager helped navigate us to the property (by phone) and provided nice walk through and overview of area—which was very helpful. Great location near Red Hook with plenty of food and drink options, and ferry to STJ.

Book This Villa!

We were a group of 9 adults vacationing. I spent a lot of time on the Island in the past & did a lot of research before selecting Villa Marino. The location was perfect, very close to Red Hook. The other main reason I chose it was the fabulous outdoor space. That’s where we spent just about all our time. The pool was perfect for cooling off, and the lounging areas - both in the sun and in the shade - are plentiful for large groups. We didn’t even use them all. The owner, Dewey, is fantastic! All of our questions were answered promptly, kindly and thoroughly. When I updated my reservation from 10 people to 9, he proactively told me we would be getting a rate reduction. The house manager Lisa is also fabulous and helped get us acquainted with the Villa and answered any question that came up during our stay. The Villa itself is THE VERY best stocked rental any of us have ever been in. From beach gear, to an honor bar (where guests use what they’d like but then leave a similar amount when they depart), to an extremely well stocked kitchen, to every type of seasoning you can imagine! Full size toiletries, TP, paper towels, trash bags, baggies, coffee filters, etc, etc. They don’t skimp and provide pretty much everything you need to enjoy a hassle free. Ask Dewey if you’re unsure what you’ll need to pack. And go by the Villa before you go shopping! If we ever are lucky enough to do another group trip to St. Thomas, we will most definitely be staying at Villa Mirino!!

St Thomas 2024

This house was amazing. Very clean and wonderful to stay in for the week. Beautiful ocean view! The only suggestion would be to have a couple of extra blankets available should anyone need. Could not ask for anything more. Would highly recommend for large family or multi-family trip. Minutes from Red hook and ferries to other locations!

Magical

WOW!! I seriously cannot say enough kind words about this house. The view was absolutely jaw dropping! In fact we had brunch catered one morning and the caterers said they had visited this house a few times before and it is by far the best view on the island. The power went out a couple times while we were there (totally normal for the island) and the AC didn’t turn back on (but only once) so the owners took the time to personally speak to us and help us fix the issue. Red Hook is super close and great restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen and I mean fully! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Cozy and perfect for a family vacation… thank you villa mirino!!!!

Fantastic Property!

This was our first trip to St. Thomas. Villa Mirino turned out to be the best property for us for many reasons. It had the perfect room layout for 2 families, comfortable indoor climate and beds, plenty of linens, towels, and an extremely well stocked kitchen. The pool was the perfect size to cool off and view the water, and the outdoor space was amazing with plenty of seating - covered and uncovered. We ate outside everyday. The location of the property was also perfect - close to grocery, restaurants, beautiful beaches, and the Red Hook ferry to St John and BVI. We had chairs and umbrellas to take with us to the beaches. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze and communication with our property manager was seamless. She had great recommendations for us throughout the week and got back to use with answers to questions within minutes. If we are able to come back to the island, this will definitely be a property I will see if it is available for us again.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Our stay was every thing we hoped it would be with the only exception is we weren’t there long enough! Beautiful home that accommodated 7 adults very comfortably. The privacy and view from the back porch is fantastic!

Amazing!

This is by far one of the best places we've stayed in STT. The views and property were amazing and we spent the majority of our time outside on the deck and pool. Everything was perfectly described and the check-in and communication with the property manager and owner was seamless. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back! My family LOVED it!

Great layout for large group

Perfect layout for our group of 10 (8 adults and 2 kids). It took us a week to realize our master bedroom had its own thermostat, so we slept much cooler after that. Other tips—don’t leave flip flops, cards, towels, etc out on the deck overnight; it’s a very good chance they’ll blow away. The coffee maker doesn’t have automatic shut off. The house was well stocked with basically everything. There were several condiments in the fridge and spices in the cupboard. We appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to buy toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, etc. It was also nice to be able to leave some food behind for whoever could use it since groceries are very expensive. There is no hot tub. We really enjoyed the deck and pool area, and grilled out there several times.

Wow, wonderful stay at Villa Mirino. We loved the pool and outdoor areas and spent most of our time relaxing out there. The location of the house was amazing, easy access to both Red Hook for dining and Compass point Marina. We rented two cars and it worked out perfectly. This house is just amazing with many thoughfully appointed details. Brittany helped us check in and was wonderful and gave some great tips for our stay as well. We did NOT want to leave!! Highly recommend!

Family Celebration

Villa Mirino met or exceeded all of our expectations. It was perfect for our group of 3 families. Everyone had their own bed and private space with lots of options to "hang out" with each other. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The adults appreciated all of the amenities including the extensive "honor bar". The location was very convenient for all of our activities, especially proximity to great restaurants. I recommend this property without any concerns.

The BEST VRBO property ever!

We have rented through VRBO all over the world and this is by far the best yet. There was not one thing we lacked. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels high quality and the kitchen had everything we needed both in and out. We hired a private chef one night and he cooked the entire meal outside! We actually cancelled dinner reservations as we enjoyed the property so much and cooking was so easy. The deck and the view of the island were spectacular and for anyone who has ever been to St Thomas there were no roosters!!! This made the trip for us with no interrupted sleep. Dewey the owner and Brittany the property manager were fantastic to work with. I highly recommended this property for couples and families. We will be back !

Family and Friends Getaway

We had a fantastic time. The place was very clean and well stocked with all of the extras. The view was spectacular and the outdoor living area was beautiful. The owners have thought of everything to help make the stay enjoyable. We took day trips to different beaches and chartered a catamaran for the day to St. John. Excellent vacation.

Wonderful stay

This property is absolutely beautiful. All seven of us had nice rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would ever need. The living room was large enough for eight adults to sit and converse very comfortably. The real star of the show was the outside area! Pool, lanai with outdoor kitchen, three lounging areas and two dining table all share an incredible view of the water. All the furniture, both inside and outside is top quality. Particularly nice we’re the roll down sunscreens around the lanai that would block the hot Sun but still allow you to see the beautiful surroundings. This place was just incredible!

Paradise

We had an amazing stay in St. Thomas. The house had everything we needed - beach chairs, beach towels, beach bags, cooler for the beach. The view is spectacular! Communication is great from the hosts. This is our 2nd time at the house and we would all stay again!
