Wonderful villa with gorgeous views from nearly every window, with tons of natural light. The pool area was super clean and even in winter, pool is in the sun. The little beach and cove area were great for snorkeling when the seas weren't too rough. The kitchen is very well stocked, the showers hot, and the a/c all over worked great! Importantly, the road to the villa is pretty easily navigated, even without a Jeep. Most of all, I want to thank the owners and the property manager for helping us in our time of need. We were caught in St. Thomas during the Caribbean airspace closures, resulting in massive airline cancellations all over, and they were responsive and so helpful during this stressful time. They helped us through those first crazy 24 hours and we are very grateful. Thank you Dawn, Dave, and Joanne!

We enjoyed everything about this house. Best location, close to RedHook for food and activities. The decorations and cleanliness of the house were fabulous, and the pool was a great area to hang out. The lagoon gives another place to hang out and take in the sights. Just one more perk of this house. We also enjoyed movies at night in the theatre room. An unexpected treat of this house. I would say this is the best spot in St.Thomas. We could not have asked a better vacation or a better place to stay. This house seems unique, as it sits right on the water. The concrete pier offers a great perspective and the whole house has 270 degrees of the best views around. St Thomas and the Virgin Islands are amazing and will hopefully return.

Stunning property!This house feels like a resort. The amenities and finishes are really well thought out.The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms are very private. Each room has an ensuite, and virtually no noise is transmitted to the bedrooms.There is plenty of hang out space. The two movie areas accomodated our entire crew. The only disappointment was that the recliners in the lower level are all broken or not functioning. The grotto in the lower level must have been gorgeous when the waterfall was working!The kitchen is very well appointed. Loads of dishware and cutlery. We did have to purchase ice, as the ice maker in the fridge was not working, and the ice maker in the coffee bar didnt make quite enough for the frozen drink demands! I would however encourage the owners to take a good look at the cookware. There is a very generous amount of pots and pans, but most of them all scratched and unuseable. We found two stainless steel pans that we used exclusively. I know most people dont care about cooking on vacation, but we love to hang out in the kitchen together!I would also strongly suggest that the hosts upgrade to USB charging stations in the kitchen and bedrooms. Everyone has phones, tablets and devices that need USB outlets.The two sets of laundry appliances are a huge bonus. We spent most of the time in the pool! It is very well maintained, and there is a covered area by the guest house that gave us a break from the sun when we needed it.

Amazing

The only slight complaint we had was that sometimes we couldn’t find a family member as the house is enormous! Enormous but very welcoming. We had the best time in this most wonderful home and we thank you for sharing it! From the pool to the kitchen and the announcement that Jaws was starting in the theatre room and the wonderful views it was amazing home to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Thanks for the memories!

Outstanding trip at an outstanding property

Our family of six had the best time at this property! The house, the grounds, the pool, and the view are all so gorgeous! We truly appreciated the fruit basket and the other breakfast treats! Thank you so much! Such a thoughtful gesture and it really removed the pressure to immediately head to the grocery store. This was our first trip to St. Thomas and we all enjoyed the island so much. We took advantage of many of the recommendations the host left for us. We would not hesitate to book this property again. It really felt like having a resort all to ourselves. We all just loved it. Family vacation in St Thomas.

We had 11 adults and five grandchildren at the VRBO/Triton. The house was exceptional and the size was perfect.We were all able to have individual rooms and enjoyed all of the amenities. There were two entertainment rooms, large kitchen, multiple dining tables. The pool was perfect size we can all use together. And the views from the house and the pool were gorgeous. Highly recommend this property!!

False Advertising

I searched on VRBO and found the perfect luxury oceanfront property with a pool and HOT TUB. The listing mentioned the property even had a lagoon for the our family to swim in. Upon arrival the property was in a great location but it was not what was listed. The photos of the listing showed a hot tub and there was not one to be found. I didn't make a big deal about it while there because I wanted to enjoy the vacation while being there with my family. My daughter started playing in the lagoon on the first day and got stung by sea urchin. Upon further review of the lagoon, it was full of rusty metal, pipes, and sea urchin everywhere. There is not practical use of the lagoon other than making the view less desirable. Like I said, we were there and I didn't want to spend multiple hours trying to cancel my nonrefundable stay so I just made the most of it. At the end of the trip, I reached out to the host and ask for a small discount (10%) since there was not a hot tub. After some back and forth, the host offered a discount toward a future stay at the property. I explained to them I didn't come to the Virgin Islands often and that I would want a property with a hot tub. I asked for a discount and ultimately got told I was trying to extort money. If a property has photos of a hot tub beside the pool of property, then it should have a hot tub. The host should be willing to discount the property if they are good and honest people. Sometimes I guess money is all that matters.

Beautiful Property

From the spectacular views to the pristine grounds, Triton’s Overlook did not disappoint! The house is huge and very nicely decorated. The property managers were wonderful and very accommodating. We had everything we needed. We look forward to returning someday!

Beautiful Home and Location

Triton's Overlook is an amazing property. The house was more than big enough for our 8 person family. It was easy to gather in either of the large family rooms or hide away for some alone time by the pool or beach area. The welcome gift of large fruit basket was greatly appreciated. We had hoped to be able to swim and snorkel in the cove but the rocks and waves made this a little challenging. Overall a spectacular home that helped our family have a wonderful experience.

Great week - nice property

We had a great week - the suites, kitchen, recreation areas were well appointed. Our only slight disappointment was not being able to walk to any beaches- they were close enough but the traffic was way too fast and there is no area to walk. We did a private charter on a catamaran out of red hook (just one mile away) with Stormy Pirates and it was fantastic. The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of lounge chairs. The grill was also a plus.

Awesome St. Thomas trip!

We did a family vacation with kids and grandkids and we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. There are essentially four levels to the home which creates the ability to create some privacy while at the same time there are large common gathering areas. The bedrooms are all a great size with their own bathrooms and the views are fantastic! The grandkids loved the pool as well as the lagoon where they did some snorkeling. Red Hook was only a five minute drive away and one beach was walkable.We had a minor air conditioning unit leak that we called about and Dave got someone out that day to repair it. Always responsive and great answering any questions and requests.We loved it and wished we could have stayed another week! Highly recommend and hope to return.

This was such a beautiful home for our group of 9 adults. Everything was perfect! There is tons of space for relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was well stocked with everthing we needed for family meals. The pool was a hit! The pool and grounds was spotless. All in all, it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Celebration

The home was perfect for our crew of 9 ranging in age from 3 to 75. It was as advertised. The pool was used early and often. Communications with the owner before our stay and with the property managers during our stay was excellent. St. Thomas, St. John and Triton's Overlook did not disappoint. If we go back to St. Thomas, we'll hope to stay at Triton's Overlook.

Best Vacation EVER. There were 10 of us in the main house (8 adults and 2 teenagers) and 1 adult in the guest house master bedroom. There was ample space for us to all sprawl out and do our own thing during the day and regroup in the evenings. The views are simply breathtaking. We had incredible weather all week and took full advantage of the pool, private beach and snorkeling cove. Red Hook offered everything we needed off-property (market, restaurants Etc.) which was convenient. The property managers were very friendly and helpful. We were all sad to see the week come to an end and agreed that this vacation will be hard to beat. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
