What a view from this condo! If you like to endlessly stare at the ocean and surrounding USVI and BVI islands, and hear the waves at night then this place is for you! Beautiful views from both decks. Excellent location within Sapphire Beach resort, down a bit in a quieter area of the resort. Access to the pool right outside the condo and a couple minute walk to the fun and craziness of the beach bar, coffee shop, restaurants, and beach. Taxi stand out front of the resort gets you to wherever you want to go. Lots of great restaurants and ferry dock just five minute drive in Red Hook. You can walk to Sudi’s Caribbean Bar & Grill which is also excellent. The mid week condo cleanings included in the price were great to get refreshed towels and supplies. Great communication with owner John. Still dreaming of going back and would definitely stay here again.

Awesome view! The host seemed easy to communicate with. Check in was strange. We have always been given instructions from the host prior to arrival. The unit itself was alright. We did find it strange that there were no window coverings in the bathroom. Again, awesome views and a great beach, which is what we were there for!

Great opportunity to enjoy beachfront access beautiful views and beach bar a short walk away on Saphire Beach in St Thomas. My family of 4 enjoyed everything about the property. Wife and I slept on the king bed with kids on the pullouts which provided a comfortable stay. Balcony on both levels was a great feature.

Our stay at this villa was nothing short of extraordinary! The location was absolutely perfect, and it truly stole my heart. As a family of five, including a teenager, we found the accommodations to be exceptionally convenient and well-equipped. Everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach was provided: from fun toys and snorkeling gear to ample towels and comfy beach chairs. It was a short, pleasant walk to delightful spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we also had the convenience of nearby grocery stores just a quick drive away. I’ve always adored the islands, but this time, my experience was elevated to a whole new level. If the opportunity arises, we would be thrilled to stay here again! John, our host, was a gem. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, always responding swiftly with informative tips. His excellent communication made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a dream getaway that we’ll cherish!

Truly on the beach

Driving into Sapphire we weren't sure what to expect with so many condo/units on the property. The only times it felt busy was during Happy Hour at the beach bar when a crowd feels fun. The beach was clean and long enough for guests and the public to enjoy without feeling too crowded. The pool was clean and never crowded. The unit was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults to spread out. With 2 young adult children we really appreciated having two balconies and two bathrooms. The kitchen provided most of what we needed to create meals. We would have like to have a full size oven but did manage with the counter top toaster/oven.

First time visiting St Thomas and can't wait to go back! The property, location and island vibe of Sapphire Beach Resort was perfect! There is so much to do and see on the Island or do nothing but relax and enjoy the view.

Family of 4 for 5 nights. Unit owner John was helpful with my questions. Unit was clean and stocked with some basic soaps, toilet paper, kitchen supplies. Bed was comfortable. Bedroom feels huge with vaulted ceiling. Teens slept on each pull out couch and didn’t complain. Bathrooms have been updated from the pics in the listing. At the time of our stay there was no window covering in the upstairs bathroom, so if you are showering at night there’s a feeling of being on display. I don’t think the angle is right for someone below to really see “a show”, but I’m not 100% sure. If you’re planning to cook, there is no big oven, just a small toaster oven, and no dish washer. There is no washer/dryer in the unit, but there is one at the Marina. I managed to hand wash in the sink and dry on the balcony.As a general warning, most of what you buy will be overpriced. I think that’s just the island way. We got a few groceries at Moe’s in Red Hook to make breakfasts, sandwiches and snacks. Again, overpriced but better than paying for 4 at a restaurant 3 times a day for 5 days. We visited the pool more than the beach. There was a bar/snack bar there at one point, but the structure has definitely seen better days and now only provides shade and shelter from the rare, brief shower that blows through. Towels are available in the office. Beware: twice I tried to return soiled towels and the office was closed early. Overall, good experience.

We loved our stay! The location was beautiful and convenient. The beach was stunning and we loved the shade of the sea grape trees. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. It was very convenient to have beach front restaurants and bar so close to the rooms. We loved the thoughtful features in the room and the renovated bathrooms. Thank you to the owners!

Spacious, clean, great location

We had a lovely stay! Conveniently located, clean and spacious condo very close to pool and the ocean’s edge. We enjoyed breathtaking sunrises each morning while enjoying coffee on the upper balcony. The kitchen had all the basics and the bed was as comfortable as ours at home! Both bathrooms are updated and very nice. John was easy to reach and very quick to respond to our questions.We would definitely stay again!

Loved Sapphire beach!

The condo was comfortable and while a bit smaller than expected for our family of 5 (it was a bit cramped), we made it work and had a wonderful stay! Especially loved our view of the carti ran and at John from our balcony! The owner John was so kind and helpful with giving us lots of info and advice on the surrounding area! Sapphire beach itself was amazingly beautiful and the location of the condo was very convenient to the ferry to St John.had a wonderful trip and hope to return!

We enjoyed a couple days on St Thomas at Sapphire beach condoWe like the location by the pool as it was beach front and quieter !The bed was super comfy !The restaurant Sea Salt was amazing!! Highly recommended - reserve a table by the balcony edge Lovely and fun people watching too! The bar had great food and drink right on the beach and great snorkeling and swimming

Great place to stay!

We were at Sapphire Beach with our entire family and had four condo units altogether. John was an excellent host with tremendous communication and was very quick to respond. The bathrooms were recently updated and were very nice. The beds were super comfortable, including the pull out beds. This condo is very family-friendly and perfect for little kids where you don't have to worry about messing things up. It is a little outdated so if you were looking for a fancy condo unit, this is not the one for you. But if you were looking for comfort and a perfect location, this is a great option. Overall, we love the Sapphire beach experience and will definitely return.

Great spot, but tired unit

Been on island and have stayed in Building D 5 or 6 times through the last 15 years - love the spot. The unit is half updated (bathrooms and fridge yes, the rest no), had no working AC downstairs for our entire visit, the couches are original (I believe) and are really uncomfortable. Bed was good (though the sheets felt like flannel, fridge was good. Coffee maker didn't work properly, though there was a Keurig I believe, but we didn't have K Cups. Pictures are outdated, so the unit looks better than what the pictures show, but between the lack of AC, coffee maker, couch, etc., we wouldn't stay in this unit again. Shame because we have been to some spectacular units on property with amazing upgrades for the basically the same cost. I suspect some easy fixes, but it wasn't great for us.
