50 Shades of Blue ...

This beachfront 2-bed/2-bath 1100 sqf property boasts a huge covered balcony from which to watch the changing colors of the sea and sky from sunrise over the St. John and the St. James’s to the south to the dwindling lights in evening as the moon rises … Or simply walk across the road to watch the sunset to the west from the stony beach (“sunset beach”) across from the parking lot.

The condo is located in the beachfront Anchorage Condo Complex that borders the St. Thomas Yacht Club. The main living area has an over-sized sectional to sink into for relaxing, napping, or watching a movie on the internet TV. The kitchen is newly renovated with new cabinets, stone counters, and all new appliances (food-processor/blender combo, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, etc…). The beds in both bedrooms are new with all new furniture in the king – and both beds are fitted with high-count cotton bedding. The bathrooms both have glass-enclosed showers with hand-held variable speed shower fixtures. All rooms have overhead fans. There is a large covered balcony with a gas grill and seating for 6. There is also a laundry closet with combo washer-dryer, iron and ironing board for your use.

The Anchorage property boasts their own beach, private pool, tennis courts, and fitness facility. The property also has its own reverse-osmosis internal water supply and a back-up generator for those not uncommon power outages. For more beachfront amenities, you only need to take a short shore-line walk to the other end of the bay for a more expansive beach with free lounge chairs, rental water sports, a breakfast –lunch bistro, a beach bar, and a more formal lunch-dinner restaurant at Cowpet Bay Beach.

Anchorage is located in the East End of the Island – just a few minutes to the town of Red Hook – home to many good restaurants and marinas offering myriad water excursions. Red Hook is also the ideal jumping off place to explore St. John – A mere 6-minute ferry ride (cars and/or pedestrians) away!

Please look for the info binder on the dining room table. I have compiled info on the unit as well as the Anchorage "House Rules" and info about the area. I have also left a house key and fob for the pool and fitness center with the binder.

Please keep in mind that this is a private home - not a hotel. Treat it as such! I also recommend you do a little research about the US Virgin Islands before you make this your vacation destination. These islands are very much Caribbean islands - nothing like the US (hint, there are no ride-apps or anything similar).
