Spring Break

We met some friends for Spring Break. House is perfect for 2 families to share. Location is great with walking and bike access to downtown restaurants and shops.

Wonderful location

We had a great stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was great, well stocked and easily accommodating multiple cooks. We were just steps from the beach and a short walk to multiple restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the showers excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Perfect Paradise

This vacation home is absolutely beautiful and spacious! Super clean, top of the line appliances, great decor, and plenty of room for our family. Located on a quiet and picturesque side street just steps from the beach. We will definitely rent here again in the future! Thanks :)

The Home was PERFECT!

So cute and well stocked for guest! We Loved staying in this home! SSI is where I grew up and will always be a special place in my heart…this end of the Island is my favorite! Back to this home…plenty of well thought out space! outstanding in every way!

Great stay on SSI

Our group consisted of 4 couples. We all highly recommend the King City listing. The home is extremely comfortable and perfect for hanging out and catching up with friends. Additionally, you can not beat the location

Wonderful!

Such a lovely home on a quiet street. Everything about this home was beautiful and perfect! Plenty of room for our family of four. A quick walk to downtown St. Simons. The host was very friendly and communicative. The home is well equipped with everything and the extra beach towels came in handy. Definitely looking forward to returning!

Beyond relaxing

We had six people in the home. There was more than enough room in the house. Everything you needed or could want for was there. At times you could see ships coming in and out of Brunswick through the channel. It was relaxing and I would absolutely recommend to anybody. They had room enough for children. the home is extremely family friendly. There was so much space and so close to everything in town. Would absolutely recommend for anybody.

Lovely home by the sea

The home is amazing. Great for a family and/or friends with a great layout that provides serenity. Comfy beds, very high end appliances and furniture.We loved walking to town, getting a bite to eat (to include a Moo Cow ice cream many a night). The front porch was our morning coffee and evening cocktail gathering place. The sea is a stone’s throw away, but, know that you need to watch the tide schedule for this spot. Not far, but either a car, bike, or golf cart ride, are beach spots where the tide schedule doesn’t matter so much.We loved this beautiful home and would absolutely rent again! Enjoy!

Fantastic stay!

We had a marvelous, short stay for spring break with 4 high school teenagers. Everyone had plenty of space, we could ride bikes or walk most places and the house cannot be beat. From clean design, thoughtful amenities, a well-stocked kitchen, inviting porch and an ideal location ... we loved, loved, loved this house. My most persnickety 15yr old declared this the "best vrbo we've ever booked"! When we make plans to return to St. Simon's, this will be the first place we look to reserve. Thank you Jeff & Amie for being so easy to work with and for hosting us in your lovely home.

Great house close to everything

This was our first trip to St Simons. Great updated house for friends and family with room to spread out. We had a friend that worked most of the time and there was a small office which was perfect. The kiddos loved the bunk room with tv and bean bag chairs. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We rented a golf cart which was nice but still super close to walk which the teens kids did on occasion. Only steps to the beach although there is high tide so plan accordingly.

The Last Spring Break

St. Simons is special since my bonus daughter & her best friend requested their we experience this island on more time during their final high school Spring Break. King City provided a close walk to the beach, the village and all the favorite places this family wants from St. Simons. The house is wonderfully furnished, allowed our party of 6 ample space both inside and out for relaxing, reading, watching TV or enjoying the hot tub. The host are very responsive and left no questions. We plan to return again for stay in the fall. Carl & Jennifer

Beautiful home

Beautiful home and cute town! Quiet street in walking distance to town with plenty of shops, restaurants, pier, lighthouse, Neptune pool and miniature golf. Lots of historical places to go with a quick car ride. Book a tour with colonialtrolly.com for the beginning of your stay. In 1 1/2 hrs, you get a glimpse of all the history in the area with loads of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. If you want sandy beaches with space to layout and play in the sand and water during the day be prepared to drive your car, golf cart or ride your bike to the beach. The beach that is steps from the home is really only accessible at low tide, and full of large rocks. It was better used in the evening to watch the large boats and chill in your chair with a drink. Great place to bring your family for the week!

Great house, research tide schedule

This is a great house. Very clean, comfortable and plenty of room for a group of 10! Large open floor plan kitchen was the best part. We could all be together, but not on top of each other. Our only issue, which owners can't control, was the tide schedule. We wanted to be on the beach all day most days, but the time we were there high tide came in right after lunch everyday, lost our beach until the evening. We did find lots of other stuff to do. Short walk to town, shops, pier, pool, and mini-golf. Best Dolphin watching we've ever experienced! If you want to be on the beach most of the trip research the tide schedule ahead of time. Excursion we would recommend is Horseback Trail Ride on the Beach! Fun vacation!

Quiet slice of Coastal Paradise

We had such an amazing stay at Jeff and Amie’s property! The house was gorgeous and immaculate and really though fully furnished. Even with 2 families with young kids we were able to set up with plenty of space and storage for our things. The pictures and description truly don’t do the beach justice, during low tide the beach stretches for hundreds of yards towards the barrier islands with tons of room for sand castles, beach games, and tons of giant hermit crabs is conch shells for the kids to look at. Fishing was great and the big boats are so cool! There’s also very little wake or waves at all so bring your pool floats and rafts! We loved setting up a little floating camp and hanging! The house also had everything we needed to cook (including high end appliances AND some essential seasonings which was really appreciated). Awesome parks, shops and restaurants at the pier just half a mile away, this place truly has it all. Thank you again for an amazing stay! We can’t wait to come back!
