Gorgeous place!

We really enjoyed this home. Very beautiful and clean! We like the location and the view.It was a little frustrating that to have the pool heated so we could swim would cost 75 per night. We didn’t find that out until after we booked.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at this beautiful house right on the beach. We especially loved having our own private pool and not having to worry about driving to the beach and dragging all of our chairs and umbrellas. The house was clean and just as it was in the pictures! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, access, and amenities

We were very happy with our stay. You can see the beach from the back, the pool was so nice and with the position of the house you were able to get sun and shade when it was too hot. The beach access was amazing especially if you have little kids. Our kids went back and forth from the beach to the pool. Beach walks were so easy from our house. The house is on the older side but beautiful. All of the beds were very comfy. The plumbing in one of the bathrooms was messed up but someone came out right away. The hose outside also was cut by the landscapers but was also replaced so quickly. We onl noticed a few issues but nothing would be a deal breaker at all. The cable cut out a lot (I know we are on vacation but we have kids who enjoy tv when the take a break from the heat).The loft upstairs was too hot to sleep in. You need to bring a fan up there with you. We had enough beds where we didnt need to sleep up there but the kids did want to. The pool was also very dirty after the landscapers came and the pool skimmer was dirty and made the pool worse. I would suggest a robotic pool cleaner.

Rustic experience

I knew we were staying in a historic home, but I was under the impression that certain areas like the kitchen and bathrooms were somewhat recently remodeled. It looked like they were maybe 20 years ago. The pictures of the kitchen make it look way nicer than it actually is. The main floor furniture was all pretty dirty. Most of the bedroom doors barely shut, much less lock. On a positive note, my teen son and his cousins who visited thought the kid’s area and loft were wonderful. The main reason we chose this place was for it’s perfect location on the beach and close distance to the Village. The location is excellent.

Thanksgiving at the beach

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful and had lots of interesting history. We wanted to stay in the pool the whole time :) it was wonderful. The owners provided everything we needed including beach towels and pool floats. We didn't want to leave! Would stay again!

Great location and set up

We really enjoyed our stay and especially the location and being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach! Our family was thrilled with that as well as the location to the quaint downtown area. We would only recommend the Management Company be up to date on the specific items that were included in the house as we asked and bought lots of K-cups as we were told there was no traditional coffee pot but there were actually 2 there! I added to the inventory there when we left as we don't use those at home:) I was told there was no iron although there was an ironing board which seemed odd so I purchased a travel iron and low and behold there was one there. I will be returning.

Incredible location!

We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3 teenagers. Loved being right on the beach and that we could walk to the Pier Village shops & restaurants so easily. The heated pool was great, too. Bathroom situation not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay here again!

The best thing this rental has going for it is the location on the beach. Great views and wonderful walks on the beach which are just outside the door.. The stars at night are amazing . VRBO is a ripoff. I paid hundred of dollars to them in fees when I could have rented directly from Lighthouse Management. The management company was great. They are quick to respond and go out of their way to make things right. I will never rent on VRBO again. Renter beware of VRBO fees.

Excellent location

House was clean and decorated beautifully. The location is excellent. The back door opens to the beach, and the Village (populated with restaurants and shops) is a quick 5-10 minute walk. I love the large windows with amazing ocean views. It was perfect for a family as everyone could make their own choice for the day, e.g., spend time on the beach, swim in the pool, walk to the Village, etc. Only point of note is all the properties are closely located on east beach, and this property is between two condos. The pool is lovely with amazing views but it is in view of the neighboring condos. That aspect didn’t bother us and didn’t impact us - but just noting it for future vacationers.

Great GA v FL Weekend

The property is very nice and the description is very accurate. We had 8 people in our group and we did not feel cramped for space at all. The kitchen is very spacious and we enjoyed the amenities. The village is a very short walk away and the beach is at your back door.

Great location!

We loved our stay here! Loved being able to wake up and see the beach from the house windows. The house was very cute and cozy. The kitchen was great for cooking and spacious for hanging out. Being on the beach made sunrise and sunset walks easy and fun! The pool was used a lot more than I expected especially with a baby. Very close (walking distance) to restaurants and shopping. We loved the house and our stay.

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

This property was even better than pictures. It was the perfect family beach vacation house. The decor was so cute! My sons loved the submarine themed loft. The pool was perfect and beach access was SO easy (super important with 3 young kids). The cleaning crew they have is 100 because the house was spotless when we arrived. Walking into town for dinner was such a plus. 5 stars and we plan to return.
