Perfect family vacation home

This property met every need. We wanted oceanfront in walking distance to the charming Saint Simons village and that was exactly what we got! We loved having three seating areas that fit the whole family - the living room, screened porch, and poolside. The three bathrooms were great with big fluffy towels, and the kitchen was well equipped. Best vacation home ever!

St Simon Island close lighthouse

the GOOD—house was lovely, location was good, great views of oceanThe BAD—pool equipment right under screen porch was constantly on so couldn’t hear the wavesThe UGLY—the access to beach was steps from front door shown in the pics had washed away 7 months prior to our booking, but the listing agent didn’t bother to take it down until we complained. They heated the pool for us without charge but it was too cold to swim in mid March. I use a cane and rollator to get around, we counted on easy beach access and paid for the luxury. Their gross negligence and false advertising was irritating and costly.LOOK ELSEWHERE, THERE ARE OPTIONS

Location location location

Loved the location. Yards from the beach and the lighthouse. Floor plan was perfect and flexible. Would highly recommend this property for small groups or large families. We will be back!!

Older property requiring much maintenance

Located near town and near beach access #13. The property is very aged and not well kept. We were without AC for a day until the tech repair person was able to arrive then fix it. It took 5 days (Saturday - Wednesday) to have the cloudy swimming pool attended to by the pool maintenance team. It would have been much better if we were not the part of the experiment to ask to have what should have been maintained already fixed for the renters.

Great house and location

We stayed here over New Year’s Eve with a group of friends and had a great time. Plenty of privacy for all, and a spacious living room area to gather. Loved being right off the beach and so close to all the restaurants. We would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway House

This house was absolutely ideal for a family getaway to celebrate an 80th and 12th birthday. So much room and the location, pool, and views were perfection. There was even an art festival during our stay. I would definitely recommend and plan on coming back!!

Great location, terrible condition

This property was dirty when we arrived. It is in a state of disrepair. Property manager had cleaning crew out that afternoon. There was mold in showers, mold on the ceilings, smelled awful and clearly had not been cleaned. Fridge will not close properly, very poorly maintained and lacking in upkeep. Pictures don’t reflect current condition.

Great family vacation location

Right next door to the St Simons Lighthouse, walkway to water, downtown restaurants, public pool… this home is perfect! We had such a great time with everyone enjoying what they love most… chilling out, watching March Madness games, walking the beach at low tide, dining out (or in), shopping, hikes… kitchen was well stocked, several tvs, good bedding, baths, and very easy to check in and out!

Wonderful location and so relaxing

This is a well-maintained, beachfront property with a fantastic screen porch overlooking the water. You can walk to everything -- food, fun, shopping. You won't regret booking a stay here.

Great house in great location!

The house was comfortable and well equipped. The large screened porch overlooking the water, was where we spent many relaxing hours! The location is great. In addition to being beside the beach, it was only about a 5 minute walk to the Village, where there are many excellent restaurants! We plan to go back next year!

What an amazing vacay!

We absolutely loved staying in this home on St. Simon. Such a great home and set up perfect for a vacationing family. Loved having most bedrooms downstairs. The bunk room was incredible. Loved the pool!!! Absolutely everything about it was just right!! Can’t wait to visit again! Plenty of beach by noon when tide was out. Walking to everything. Perfect!

Making memories

Our small family of seven, ages seniors to teens, made memories. The teens had never been to a beach. Exploring with golf carts was so much fun, visiting the Sea Turtle museum and rehab center was a winner and family games, conversations, swims etc. were easily enjoyed by all In this rental which had space for all ages to enjoy. The location was very desirable, near great shopping and restaurants. The pool was a big hit with our mermaid granddaughter. All in all this rental was a great find for a family to enjoy, all three generations of us.
