First trip to St Simons as a family but most certainly won’t be our last. The house itself was perfect. Clean, well decorated, stocked with essentials, amenities that appealed to travelers of all ages and convenient to everything. Responsiveness of the property management team was fabulous and any issues we had were attended to quickly. Only complaint and it wouldn’t preclude from staying again is that it does seem the fees are very high equaling almost the total of the house itself. May not be sprint to this property though and may be a function of VRBO changing their fee structure

It was wonderful! The team was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself was just as beautiful as the pictures. The pool was smaller than expected but ended up being perfect to decompress in after a long beach day. Highly recommend!!

Great House, Great Location

We loved the house, the pool and the location to the beach and restaurants. The house was spotless and had everything a family could want and need to relax and enjoy Saint Simons Island. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. We would highly recommended this property for a great quiet family vacation.

Paradise

The property was better than advertised! The pictures are amazing but does not do it justice. You have everything you need without even leaving the property. The entertainment areas and outside areas are perfect! The pool was perfect to relax in. 5* rating. The interaction with the property manager was excellent. Very nice and responsive. Had a couple rainy days but this property has so many things to do to help pass the rainy days.

Quaint Island Getaway

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at the Island Escape at Fern. The property was clean, well taken care of, and offered a private backyard getaway. The carport under the house made unloading a breeze. The living room offered plenty of natural light and the motorized shades made it easy to turn in for the night. The back porch offers a very nice, secluded area for outdoor dinners. The whole house was immaculate and the welcome cleaning package was a nice touch.The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very well put together. The location on the island was centrally located and made getting to the beach very easy. Overall, an amazing property and would definitely stay here again.

This rental was perfect. I'm always hesitant but this house was better than advertised. It was spacious, clean, and near great places to eat. It was also quiet. I would stay here again. I highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful Stay!

St. Simon’s is absolutely beautiful, 2nd time visiting and we will be back! The house were gorgeous and super clean! Check in process was super easy! Loved how close it was to the beaches. We will be back to visit and to stay in this house again.

Beautiful spacious Home

Our family of six was very comfortable in this home. It is spacious and has a designer decor that was very appealing. The screened in sunroom, pool area and ping-pong game room were delightful to have and we used them alot. When the batteries of a smoke detector stopped working, the property manager responded immediately. Communication was top notch. It was exactly as the pictures show, if not better. It was also more quiet and secluded than what we were expecting.

The break of spring

WOW! Luxury meets St. Simon’s!!! We traveled from FL with our two children (9 & 4) to enjoy a little bit slower of pace. By far the most relaxing week we have ever had! 10 Fern couldn’t have been more amazing!! From the decor to the insanely comfortable furniture/beds it was absolutely perfect! The outside pool, downstairs swings & game room knocks it out of the park! Our children ranked this as “the best vacation ever!” We rented a golf cart and 10 Fern Ln was located in such a great location that we were truly able to enjoy everything that St. Simon’s had to offer! We can’t wait to return!!!

Excellent Stay

The house was lovely, well furnished, clean and just what we were hoping for. We chose to be away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist area . A great value for the money. It’s in a quiet walkable neighborhood away from traffic but drivable to amenities. Our week’s stay was a bit chilly so we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful pool.

It really is an Escape.

The property was truly exceptional, and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I've never felt so relaxed during a vacation, able to leave behind the typical daily life problems. The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the pool, which is incredibly private due to the property's clever design and layout. It gives you the feeling of being on your very own secluded island, and that was precisely why I chose this house in the first place. I must say, it didn't disappoint. The house's interior decor and overall cool factor are off the charts. However, what prevented our experience from being excellent were three issues: the control of the air conditioning, the quality of the beds, and the internet. Like many hotels, the property has thermostats that restrict your control. While it does allow you to lower the temperature to a comfortable 68 degrees, the thermostats are located under vents, causing certain areas of the house to cool down much faster and other parts, like the bedrooms, to stay warmer then 68. As a northerner who prefers a colder sleep environment, I found the bedrooms to be warmer, and the memory foam toppers on the beds exacerbated this issue, trapping body heat and making it uncomfortable. Even my wife experienced discomfort due to the warmth. Considering the price, I expected more control over the temperature and fewer instances of the thermostat resetting to 78 degrees. As for the beds, they all have memory foam toppers, but the mattress in the primary bedroo

Weekend getaway

We stayed at the Fern for our weekend get away. Very comfortable property with all the necessary appliances. The front porch was great and screened which was great. Pool was a little smaller than average sized bout still good for family fun. Table tennis in the game room was also a great plus. Decor was modern and place overall was very clean.
