Hi, So sorry to hear that you guys didn't feel comfortable navigating the 2 steps. Although this is a "ground floor unit," because of the age of the property, there are various "levels" that prevent it from being handicap accessible. For this reason, we do not advertise it as being handicap accessible. To get into the bedroom, there are 2 steps. To get into the bathroom, there is 1/4th of a step threshold. We tried to give indication of that with the pictures form different angles. We do have our Beach Retreat location which has zero steps anywhere, but the doors are regular width which may not be accessible for certain wheelchairs. Hope this info helps, Dave

HI, So sorry that you had allergy issues. We do have a lot of very large oak trees here on the island and even sometimes it gives me really bad allergies. I remember during your stay, I pretty much had to take every allergy med I had and "sleep it off." But, since then I have been fine. I actually moved to the island from Atlanta because my allergies there were so bad. Way better here. As far as this unit having 3 levels. There are actually 2 levels that I can think of: the main living area and then the master bedroom is up 2 steps (see pictures in the listing and you can see the step). We do have another location that has zero steps, but it is still in the general area where there are a lot of oak trees.
