Location

This our our third year staying in this condo for Labor Day weekend, and we will continue to come back. This condo is a short walk to the beach and close to the village area as well. We rent a golf cart while we are there and love that we don’t have to drive our car the whole weekend. The condo is clean and the check in and check out process is simple. We had no issues when staying in this condo.

Grandkids loved the upstairs bedroom w/twin beds. Very clean well maintained. Second time staying here. Look forward to a third.

We recently stayed at this condo and had a mixed experience. The location was excellent and one of the biggest highlights of the property—close to everything we wanted to do. The host was also responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.The condo itself was comfortable, but it felt somewhat dated and could benefit from some updates. We also found that several electrical outlets and lamps throughout the unit did not work, which was inconvenient. Another small improvement would be providing bottled water for guests. The local tap water has a strong beach/brackish taste, so having drinking water available would have been appreciated.The biggest issue during our stay was the mosquito problem. There were a large number of mosquitoes inside the condo, and we were constantly dealing with them throughout our stay. This significantly impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the property.Overall, the excellent location and good communication from the host were definite positives. However, the outdated condition of the condo, non-functioning outlets and lamps, lack of drinking water, and especially the indoor mosquito issue detracted from the experience. With attention to these concerns, this property could be a much better stay for future guests.

Great place , 3 minutes from beach

Property for clean, had plenty of towels, way more than we needed. 2 AC units were working good. Property could use some maintenance here and there but overall, everything was in good working condition. The thing that we didn’t like : bathrooms had no locks and so are the bedrooms, and no keyless entry! We had to make sure to get the key from the office and return it there as well , not to mention trying to lose it on the beach. Other than that , great property , would definitely book again !

Always Nice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here several times. The location is great and the home is nice. The only difference on our last trip was that they must have been in the process of updating the rooftop (which is a plus if so), but there was no outdoor patio furniture like there usually is. Therefore we were not able to enjoy the rooftop patio, which leaves you stuck inside when you are home, unable to enjoy the salty air! Hopefully they are updating it and it will be great next time.

Family Working Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the condo and its location. Couple of things to improve:1. Need to make sure the internet works. We were on a working vacation (work, play, work, play). The internet was not working half of the time we were there. Frustrating to say the least and caused a scrabble.2. Mold in the master tube. It's okay that the tile was old but please recaulk around the tube.3. The cleaning service showed up a little before 10am on our last day. Certainly felt rushed out.

The condo is very clean with nice amenities. The location is great, taking only 2-3 minutes to walk to the beach. We had trouble with the dryer not working but maintenance was quick to respond and come out to get it working again. The staff of Georgia Coast Realty are friendly and professional providing an overall great rental experience!

Beachcomber was spotless, very well stocked kitchen. Quite little complex. Will definitely stay there again. Temps were way above 100 but the unit was cool. Short drive to the village could have walked but w/children & heat not a good idea.

Location

This is our second year staying at this site. We love the location to the beach (walk across Beachview Drive). The condo is older but very clean. We had a great weekend and will be back next year.

Overall nice, but a couple issues...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great and cozy, and couldn’t have been a better location to the beach. But... we encountered a roach the size of our thumb crawling on the wall, and after looking further, found half a dozen dead roaches under the stove. There was also Raid roach spray on the shelf so someone was aware of this issue. Also, the roof started leaking in two places during a thunderstorm. So other than these two things, our stay was good.

Lovely place, snug but very functional.

Great short walk to the ocean. Very convenient to stores and restaurants. It has everything you need. The furniture is a little worn and should be replaced at some point. I have back trouble and there wasn't a comfortable firm seat. All in all it was a great little spot !!

Beautiful place to stay

The condo was beautiful location was amazing we walked across the street to the Beach the place was clean the only thing is that the floors were a bit thin the downstairs neighbor could hear us walking around other than that it was excellent

Nice place, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location, the place was snug but nice and comfortable. A few little things need to be fixed (e.g. shower knobs), and the owner really needs to power wash and/or cover the deck to make it usable. Property managers were very nice and accommodating, were great about rescheduling after COVID-related postponement. My only complaint is that the cleaning person showed up promptly at checkout time (10am) -- I get the need to get guests out of the unit, but a little buffer time (we were running a bit late) would have been nice.
