Great family vacation!

We've vacationed in the Indian Rocks area for several years now. We love the area and this condo was perfect! Bedrooms are a good size, beds were comfy and everything was as described! The complex itself was very nice- love the new landscaping and walkways! Checkin process and key codes were so easy! We did use a guest parking spot too and had no issues, but the complex wasn't full either. Only a couple very minor things- the sheets on the beds were a little scratchy, not terrible though. The front bedroom stays quite warm, but there were fans available. The patio furniture wasn't very comfortable; the height was nice, but not for sitting long or without shoes. None of these impacted our stay though! We are already talking about booking again for next year!!

Beautiful Stay

The Condo was very accomidating - views were beautiful, space was plentiful. It was pretty well equipped. There were some things that needed upgraded or replaced - pots and pans are not up to par, that made it hard for us due to the fact we cooked 5 meals during our stay. Even with spray and butter everything was sticking. There are also ZERO cleaning products, so I would suggest going to dollar tree for items as such. Other than those 2 those 2 things we really enjoyed our stay. There were dolphins every morning, we even saw a PINK one our 1st morning. The sunsets are gorgeous and the coffee shops are plentiful. Beds were very decent and bathrooms were great. The soaking tub is awesome!!!!! I would stay again - as long as I can cook stickfree ❤️ with 8 kids between 2 condos eating out isn't an option lol The owners are super nice and VERY responsive. That was greatly appreciated! Thank you Ian and Michelle.

This condo had a great view of the ocean! Check in was easy and it was nice to not need a key to get in and out. Air conditioner did not work well so we were not really able to use front bedroom because it was so hot and had to hang a blanket in front of window in other front bedroom to help keep sun out. Overall pleased with our stay

Sandcastle 1 Indian Shores-402

Pleasant Stay with Minor Hiccups: I recently stayed at this condo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The owners were extremely accurate in their description of the unit, which was well-kept and very clean. They were also quick to respond to any questions we had. The property itself had some nice amenities, including a pool, hot tub, and ping pong area. However, during our stay, one of the elevators was out of service, which made going up and down a bit slow. Thankfully, the issue was eventually resolved. As for the beach, it was decent, but there was quite a bit of seaweed both in the water and washed up on shore. If you’re not a fan of seaweed, this might be a minor drawback. The beach is not on the owners of the condo. One unexpected lesson we learned was about parking. Most restaurants and tourist spots lack parking. Public parking required payment for parking, which was different from what we had anticipated. Fortunately, the condo had great parking facilities. In summary, it was a nice trip overall, thanks to the great owners and comfortable accommodations. Just be prepared for parking costs when exploring the area!

Great Condo, Great Location

Can't beat the views sitting on this condo balcony. Looking at the ocean and palm trees is the best views for me. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub felt amazing after two days on the road. We loved walking across the street for dinner at Caddy's and walked several times to the Indian Shores Trading Company for t-shirts. Amazing treasures are found walking the beach. Our first day there sponges were coming in on the beach. So very cool and interesting!

Lovely condo and great location

The condo was perfect for our family. It was clean and just a short walk to beach. The location is great with proximity to so many things you can walk to or short drive. We will be back!

Best Vacation with a View

Fabulous vacation. The condo was clean and pretty. The best part was the absolutely gorgeous view. The Family room and master bedroom have ceiling to floor windows with an amazing view. Aside from the fact it was super hot this was far by one of our best family vacations. We will definitely be back.

Family vacation

Loved the area been there for 40+ years. The room we reserved had been given to another person but the owner had another room of equal size. He gave a a 50$ gift card so all was ok. The room was great location was great. I had to clean it which wasn’t so good. I love this area but wish it was cleaner. People in the area are so nice and can’t say enough about location. Wish I could live there.

Beautiful setting and wonderful weather. Love Sandcastle condos.

Nice layout with a separate vanity off the master bedroom, in addition to the bathroom sink Bathrooms renovated with new tile. Door into second bath from the second bedroom was also convenient. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Furniture fairly new and comfortable. Washer and dryer convenient although washer very noisy. Newer microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Silverware was odds and ends with only 1 teaspoon. Purchased a colander. Dining table only accommodates 4. Sheets were basic and not very soft but beds were firm and new. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location, beautiful beach, pool and hot tub. Building is dated and unit was good size but could use some sprucing up. The dish ware, glass ware and kitchen essentials need to be upgraded. Washer didn’t work upon arrival but Ian was quick to get it repaired.

A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Don't hesitate...just book it! The condo was clean which was my main concern. The beach view was wonderful! It was also in great proximity from Clearwater, Tampa, and St. Pete. We didn't want the craziness and expense of Clearwater, so Indian Rocks was perfect. Ian and Michelle were wonderful to work with! Reserving and checking into the condo was easy.

Beachtown Getaway

This condo is located in Indian Shores which has maintained its residential beachtown feel despite the commercialization of St. Pete Beach to the south and Clearwater Beach to the north. Condo was great, with all the amenities you could want. Wish the weather was a bit warmer, but at least the pool was heated! View from the balcony is spectacular. Owners were amazingly responsive to all questions. Would definitely recommend staying here!
