Cozy 1 Bedroom unit.

Cozy 1 Bedroom unit. 3.9 Star rating. Owner was responsive to concerns.The place would be 4.5 Star with a new Bathroom, new Kitchen, new sofabed mattress and room darkening curtains. The only thing keeping it back from a full 5 Stars is the dumpster noise as it is on the corner closest to the compacting dumpster and garbage trucks. The complex conveniently located near shops and 15 minutes drive to the beach.

Disappointed Stay

We normally have great properties to stay in with VRBO. However, this property was very disappointing. It started with the owners not sending check in instructions. We had to call them right before check in. The property was dated and not clean. There was a bad smell and the furniture was old, not comfortable and some chairs broken. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The dumpster for the entire complex is right next to the condo and the compactor ran day and night. The view off the patio is a large apartment complex next door. I would recommend anyone considering a stay at this property check some of the other low rating reviews. They are accurate

The location is great, there are lots of stores and supermarkets right across the street from the apartment; also it was very easy to check in and out; the apartment was fully equipped with all the necessities (pots, dishes, beach umbrella, towels and bedding, but I didn’t use any of it, I bought my own towels and bedding). The really frustrating part of the rental was the bathroom not being clean, so I had to buy cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, Comet, Lysol, brush, sponges and even the bath shower) and once arrived spent good two hours on scrubbing the bathtub. I even bought the toilet brush because the one that was there was beyond salvation!!! I know I was charged the cleaning fee but that shouldn’t not have been the condition of a freshly cleaned apartment, and the owner of the apartment deserves to know that whoever is being paid isn’t really doing her job. I also bought my own garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, soap etc.

Very Clean and great place to stay!!!

The condo was very clean. Has a costal theme with new furnishings. Has many amenities and felt like home. The king size bed was very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy. Would recommend the condo to anyone. Hope to stay here again next year.

Pass on this one it could be filthy...

Pretty sure the 'cleaners' changed the sheets, made the bed and left. I had to clean the entire bathroom, kitchen sinks and had to empty the dishwasher from the last people that stayed there when we got there. Told owner, sent pictures and he said he'd send cleaners in the am. Ahhh I already did it all. I notice a pattern of him saying that to others in these reviews. Empty candy wrappers on floor. Garbage under bed. Nail clipper in shower. Garbage for large complex is right outside the front door and the compactor runs after every bag is thrown away. Upstairs neighbors can be heard through ceiling and if you are lucky like us they will be wearing lead shoes while doing aerobics. The view is a parking lot and a colorful apartment out your patio door. There is virtually no water pressure But... The bed was comfortable but I had to wash the quilt and shams because they were filthy and had what looked like blood on it..... Was probably just ketchup. He may have a rebuttal but I have pictures.

The Avalon

We enjoyed our stay at the first floor condo and found everything to be as advertised. The furnishings were new and the king bed comfortable. It was also great to be near Publix, Wells Fargo and Shell station.
