Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and taken care of. We did have the fire alarm go off for no apparent reason, but the on-site staff took care of it right away.

More Amazing in Person

This property is more amazing than pictures could ever depict. Staff that we interacted with were all helpful and friendly. The lobby was tiny and minimal as others mentioned. The wi-fi was strange - would connect and disconnect frequently. The beach is a short walk but you never have to cross a road. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Beautiful Property

The property was in beautiful condition, well maintained, and obviously professionally run. The room was well stocked, the pool and hot tub were clean and easily accesible. The location was great, though from the photos on the listing, it did seem as though the beachfront was much closer than it actually is. We did wish the beach was closer, as my Mother was traveling with us and she has had recent knee surgery so the walk to and from the beach was a little rough on her. It was still a wonderful overall stay and we will absolutely reccomend this property to friends and family.

WILL NOT COME BACK

We won’t return due to poor hospitality and service. Despite the well-done room and nice property, the lack of empowerment among staff to provide great hospitality overshadowed the renovations. Despite limited space, constant communication about parking and lack of solutions was frustrating. The website says you can pay for extra parking but they didn’t allow me to do that. I was told I’d be towed. A woman was also arguing with the same person about parking, worried about parking offsite in the dark as a female. When I returned to the hotel in the dark after parking offsite, I saw the front desk clerk writing down license plates and we all got a text that they would start towing. We received texts reminding us that there was no outside food or drink allowed at the pool, even when the pool bar was closed and there was no service. I was taking some items to the car on our last day and on my way back in, the woman working at the front desk told me to check out. I told her I already received my checkout via email. She yelled after me, “No! You have to come back and tell me when you are out of your room!” On our next trip…she FOLLOWED US TO OUR CAR! She left the desk and came out to our car to tell us we had to check out. We were furious. I let her know that we had a horrible stay thanks to that kind of behavior. She laughed at us. We let her know that she needed to leave us alone and not follow us around. We just left…upset.

Pictures and description are VERY misleading!

We booked this unit based on the pictures and the fact that it said “beach front”. We specifically wanted the gulf side of Florida because it is easier for my husband, who has MS, to navigate the shorter distances to the water. This unit was, in fact, beach front, but the beach was so far from the unit we were not able to even see it! The description also said chairs and towels were included on Ocean Club’s “private beach” which was true, but the “private beach” was an area of sand off the pool. The unit was a two bedroom unit but the only seating in the living area was a 2 cushion sofa and an awkward, uncomfortable chair. We made do, but it was disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the ocean - it’s no where NEAR that close!!

Beach too far, small pool

Great condo, but the beach is about 1/4 mile away. Very disappointing. The pool is too small for this size property. I was never told that the beach is that far from the front of the property. Won't return.
