Great location! Beautiful beach and walking distance to several restaurants. The condo was spacious and clean. We loved the large balcony with gorgeous views of the sunset!

Beautifully Nostalgic

This was our 2nd time staying at the location. I must say it was even better than the first time. Updates and remodel gave the unit a beautiful new look. Love this seaside getaway.

Not kept up

I chose this hotel get the feel for "old Florida" instead of staying in a newer condo or a house. We stayed on the top floor. This room is listed as updated but the upkeep isn't there. The entire place is painted stark white which feels old and cold. The furniture is very cheap and uncomfortable. The entire place, other than the master bed, feels dirty. Pros: Small old Florida feel, no heavy banging doors from neighbors, quiet Cons: Long walk to the ocean (must have a cart), never saw anyone working in the office our entire stay Cons for our specific room: Broken toilet seat, baseboard and wall at the base of the sliding doors to the deck, vertical blinds missing from the sliding door and large window, pullout drawer in the refrigerator was broken, set screw missing from kitchen sink which made the handle fall off several times, both bathroom sinks held water and had to remove the drain plugs, the toilet wouldn't refill on several occasions, freezer isn't hooked up to water & you must go to the first floor "rec room" for ice.

Gorgeous quiet breezy sea view.

We were three adults staying for six days. Loved most the terrace facing the beach where we enjoyed breakfasts, lunches and dinners, quiet space for reading, and comfortable space for good conversations.

Beach Paradise!

Loved this place. Weve stayed here a couple of years ago and noticed the remodel right away. Its close to the beach and boardwalk. We walked lots of places. We'll be back!

Wonderful stay

We loved the location in Treasure island. Our unit was perfect for 5 to sleep comfortably. We had additional friends stay in other units on the property. Our balcony was a perfect gathering place for everyone. View was beautiful. Only struggle for us was unit being on 3 rd floor with no elevator for my husband that has mobility issues. We made it work though! Lovely place.

Great Views but Not-So-Great Property

I've done vrbo for the past 15 years, and this property was my least favorite. While it looks just like the pics, very pretty and spacious, once you start looking more closely throughout the unit, you'll see all the shorts cuts that were taken with the remodeling. Okay. No big deal. Some bad caulking and unsteady floor boards, but there's more. The blinds in the large room are in bad shape and need to be pulled open/closed manually w/o breaking one or two off. My biggest issue is that the place just didn't seem clean. I don't think the floors were cleaned before our stay b/c I continually had dirt/sand on my bare feet the whole time (and we were very careful about not bringing sand in from the beach). No one swept under the furniture; just move the chair or couch and you'll see. I wouldn't sit or lounge on the couches b/c I just wasn't sure what might be between the cushions. The windows are filthy -- outside mainly, but pretty gross. The worst for me was the sand fleas or sugar ants or whatever they are that were crawling all around the kitchen. Very hard to see if you are not paying attention but they are there. On the countertops, crawling up the kitchen wall to the ceiling, on the dining room table. I bought a can of raid and that seemed to keep them at bay for a few days but my husband had them crawling over his laptop (as we worked at the table) and they bit up his legs pretty bad. I usually cook some meals during our vacation but I refused to handle any food in that kitchen or eat the table. We did not see any bugs in the bathrooms or bedrooms (thank goodness). If we did, I would have left. The clothes closet was a surprise. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas which was a bonus but frankly, not clean enough inside to hang your clothes. There is no laundry inside the unit which I guess I missed on the description - ok, my bad - but the code to the coin operated laundry room did not work and no one was EVER in the office to help. So we did not wash all week. The rec room smells musty and moldy (when it was open which wasn't much). Poolside grills are a joke. It's a ancient charcoal grill w/ no charcoal. They give you one extra garbage bag for an entire week. That's pretty sad. The pool was very nice. The other patrons were very nice. Beach was great. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. I can easily overlook one or two issues with a rented property but there were so many here I felt others should know.

A quiet escape!

This condo is prettier in person then in the pictures. It had everything you could need. Just bring your clothes and food. Thanks for all the little things like beach towels, coffee filters etc. We will definitely be back.

Amazing views!

We loved our week in Treasure Island at Tropic Sands #59. The very large outside covered deck is a fantastic space! If we weren’t at the beach enjoying the views there, we were on the deck enjoying them. 2 reasons I can’t give a full 5 star review- 1. The shower in the master bedroom- I am 5’4” tall and I barely stood under the shower head, tall people-good luck…. 2. The AC - there are multiple AC units for the property. The ones in the bedrooms kept them nice and cool. The main living area was always a bit too warm for my liking. It never really got cool in there but was slightly cooler than outside so it felt a little refreshing when you first came in from being outside. Despite those 2 things, I would recommend staying here and would stay again with my family. It’s a great location, nicely furnished and clean.

Accurate description. Very clean. Fantastic location and views. Easy access to beach. Wonderful - large patio with excellent sunset views. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
