Vacation

Great location and great space. Everything you need is within walking distance, food, pool, beach, etc. This Unit is located in the corner of the property, giving it extra privacy, but still convenient to everything. We would definitely stay here again, loved it.

Beautiful beach,classic style, awesome experience.

If you like old school Florida style with modern amenities. This is the place for you! Super cold AC, easy beach access and cool old school Florida hotel vibes. My wife and I had an excellent weekend trip. Great central location, easy parking and beautiful white sand beaches. Highly recommend.

Extremely hot…air conditioner not adequate

On the day of check in my husband and I arrived late in the evening (8 pm) and when we walked in it wasn’t any cooler inside than outside. My husband immediately turned down the thermostat but they have some type of wall unit that barley blows cold air. There is also a separate wall unit in the bedroom. We were sweating/miserable all night. I called the emergency line to see if we could get someone from maintenance out, but all I could do was leave a voicemail. We woke up the next morning and it had cooled down significantly over the night (we keep it 70 degrees at our house and we could tell it wasn’t that cool). I received a phone call from the property about the message I left the night before. She asked if she could come to the room and we agreed. When she walked in (about 9/10 am) she said it felt great in there and didn’t understand our compliant. We told her yes, it is much cooler than last night, but the air conditioner wasn’t going to be able to keep up by the afternoon. She said she would call maintenance if we wanted. The thing is, the “air conditioner” was working….it never turned off, it just wasn’t adequate. Also, we woke up our first morning to a crew banging in the hallway changing out the main doors of each unit. I spoke to the manager about this as well because we were never notified they would be doing construction/updates during our stay and actually choose this place over another because of construction. All she said was “sorry”. We spoke to other renters who did not have air conditioning issues, so I think it’s just that unit, but we were miserable and considered leaving and going to another place to stay. I will NEVER be back to this property. And a side note, the bathroom didn’t have a vent in it and radiated the most heat so we keep the door closed, but we called it the sauna-no matter what time of day you went in and heaven forbid when you took a shower. The steam has nowhere to go but back in your room. It was so bad we had brought a little fan with us to take to the beach and when we showered we would open the window in the bathroom and place the fan in it to try and pull some of the steam out. I love st Pete but you couldn’t pay me to stay at this property again.

Birthday Beach Getaway

Check in was super easy. The room was as pictured in the listing. Easy beach access. Lovely grounds. The room was a little warm. The first night was too warm for us, we almost left for home in the morning. We decided to stay. Keeping the air on a lower temp all day helped, but it was still warmer than we would like. Kitchen was small but adequately stocked with pots, plates, utensils. etc. The room was clean and tidy. We walked the boardwalk to a nearby tiki bar for drinks. There was a great ice cream parlot within walking distance.

Family getaway

My daughter and I came down to getaway for a few days and beach it. This was a perfect place for us, clean and very nice, right on the beach and very reasonable! I would definitely stay again as we met a bunch of very nice people!

Friends and atmosphere ❤️

We love Tropic Terrace! The people we meet year after year make it so fun! Unfortunately if the nightly fees keep going up we will not be able to book another stay in 2024. We are excited to return in 2023 though. Room was perfect short on hangers and cookware . We bought a frying pan and left it there for others to use.

Nice place, great beach

Only complaints where very small bathroom, could hardly turn around in there. It would have been nice to have an iron and more hangers to hang clothes since there isn’t much space for clothes. Only 3 hangers were provided. Other then that it was very nice.

Short stay

We had a 3 night stopover on Treasure Island and enjoyed our stay. The condo had easy access to the beach and we were able to explore the surrounding neighborhoods on our bikes. The unit was on the small size but it felt cozy for the few nights we were there. The pool was heated and the deck was sunny. All good.

This was a nice property with quite the history as some residents are second or third generation! Enjoyed meeting one of the residents. Well groomed area, easy walk to the beach and our unit was small but very functional Would return if I wanted to stay near that beach.

Tropic Terrace Beach Vacation

Adorable stay in a beautiful Oasis

My mom and I came to stay for one night while we were at the beach and throughly enjoyed this cute little property. It is nestled in a well renovated older hotel, and has a beautiful tropical oasis in the courtyard. It was such a rare and lovely find. My mom enjoyed meeting other guests and sitting on the biking and walking path while I enjoyed walking through the dune trails. The sunsets were also amazing to watch! I would definitely stay again!
