The unit has gorgeous sunset views right from the balcony. Loved listening to the waves at night. Only thing I didn't like was that if someone was smoking on their balcony then you woupe smell it. The pool and hot tub areas are fantastic. The kiddie pool/splash area is not heated (the main pool is) but that did not hinder the kids. They just got in the hot tub if they got too cold. Every time we went to the kiddie pool we were the only ones there. It was awesome. The rooms inside the unit are kinda tight and there isn't a lot of storage space. For 5 of us it was a little cramped but we made it work. Host Garth was very responsive and professional. Had some minor issues that were rectified immediately. Would 100% stay here again. We loved our stay at Sunset Vistas on Treasure Island. Our host and all the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The beachfront view is amazing from inside and also from the spacious balcony. The two bedrooms and sofa bed were perfect accommodations. Very clean and nicely appointed. Everything is so convenient, swimming pool, tiki bar, restaurant, business center, parking and right on the beach! Very close to John’s Pass with shops and restaurants. Absolutely beautiful property! We want to return again soon!

Perfect location with a beautiful sunset view from the balcony. Kitchen was nice and stocked with dishes and cookware. Unit provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. - or you can rent them on the beach. Only thing missing was a small cooler to take food/drinks to beach, but I later found out from host that we could have requested in advance. Washer and dryer in unit was a plus. Host was very responsive for questions. Unit could use a view updates (curtains, decorations, etc) but overall, it was very nice. Pool is large and heated. Be advised pool is directly below this unit and can get a little noisy, especially on weekends but it didn't create any issues for us.

Everything was pretty much as expected. However, a couple of the outlets didn’t work and the decor was just a tad bit dated. However, the sheets and bedding smelled very fresh. Might add directions for the assigned parking spot for the next renter. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. Would definitely book again if the opportunity arises

Fantastic condo! Location was excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone. We were a family of four and everyone was very comfortable. Just got back and already missing the balcony! Can’t wait to return. Thank you for a great stay!

The location of the condo within Treasure Island was great and just a few min drive from John’s Pass and lots of good restaurants. Parking was great with a designated covered spot. The condo is perfectly located within the building, front row to the beach and ocean and over looking the pool. Right next to the stairs and although it’s on the 5th floor it’s so convenient we took the stairs all week even with 3 kids and all the beach things.The building has a tiki bar downstairs and a cafe. The 2 pools are very nice and family friendly. This is a family place, there are kids everywhere.I wish the unit had more towels, shower, beach and kitchen hand towels seemed to be at a bare minimum. We had 5 people and because of the humidity they don’t dry quickly so we were constantly drying towels in the dryer and sharing. We flew in so tried to pack sparsely and didn’t have room for extras. We also bought a few plastic kitchen items at Walmart as we didn’t want the kids using breakable stuff all week. Lastly, pillowcases were sparse and we ended up buying those too as we used the couch bed for our little ones and the master bed was a little hard for our liking.Overall the location and condo were great. A few small things they could do to improve the experience but definitely pretty great week.

Sunset Vistas in July

Wonderful host, great communication, phenomenal location! The condo is great with a balcony that has the most stunning sunset beach views. The unit was equipped with a washer & dryer which was wonderful for drying bathing suits and towels in a pinch, and a full kitchen if you want to save on take out costs! The beach equipment & toys on site were a wonderful touch & made vacation that much easier. Having the cafe on the 2nd floor with its delicious food was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be saving for a trip back to Treasure Island in the future!

Stunning Views

We are repeat customers for many years. Love this condo, the photos do not do justice regarding the stunning views. All amenities are as indicated. Close to shopping, grocery, and many food options. Owners easy to reach, and easy to work with. We just came home, and are already looking at dates for our next visit!

Ideal Location in Treasure Island

The condo is in a great spot in the building, right by the northwest stairwell, close to the pool. The parking spot is right by the bottom of the same stairwell. The condo was clean and everything worked very well. The view of the sunset was perfect from the balcony. The poly lumber settee furniture on the balcony was very comfortable, perfect for sipping morning coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place and location!

Great Condo right on the beach. Clean and the property managers were great. If you read reviews of Sunset Vista on Google you'll get a mixed bag. Some condos are kept up better depending on the owner. This is one is a winner! Nice and clean and awesome location. The building itself is still recovering from the hurricane but the pool and hot tub and still kicking and the beach walk is short. Publix is right down the road as is Jons Pass. Can't wait to go back.

Great appartement

Everything was great from a rental perspective: a condo with a great view and the experience close a hotel: really well cleaned, all details thought after. Plus we were very well welcomed.However, the daily construction noise from 9 to 5, closed direct access to the ocean, leaking construction-site toilets, exhaust fumes while swimming in the pool, ... were too much not to be mentioned.While I understand the necessity to repair, it really seemed I came with a conflicting one to relax.

Fun property with friendly staff

Never been to St Pete Beach area and was in town for 1 night. Found this condo on the beach. The location is great and beach views were fabulous! Fun courtyard in the center of the property, cool little beach cafe on site and a great beachside bar!!! All the staff were super friendly and beach access was easy. Planning to stay again for upcoming visit.

Terrible place

So bad we couldn’t even stay here! We immediately left after we walked around the complex and saw the unit!! We had to find another place to stay, it was so bad. We left and never went back! I’ve never left a negative review on any VRBO properties (and we’ve stayed in a lot of different places) but this one is renter beware! While the overall unit was cleaned well, the unit is run down, dingy, uninviting. The condo complex was dirty, overcrowded clearly not fully functional. There was trash overflowing, elevators not working, parking issues, etc. The pool area pictures are very deceiving. It’s small, overcrowded and definitely not a place to relax. I’ve never been so disappointed in a rental. Like I said, we saw the facility, the unit and said no way we could stay.

Behind the Scene

Unfortunately we chose to come to the area 3 months after two hurricanes. They are working really hard getting the property and grounds (and community) back in working order. The unit was fine. They did have to replace the AC one day while we were there so we stayed out of the unit for the day. 4 elevators out of 5 were down but they were working on them as we were there. The pool had no heat but they were trying to get it back in order as soon as possible. The beach bar was closed and the boardwalk was destroyed in the hurricanes and need rebuilt. The view is amazing! The shells were like I have never seen before in all my years and beach trips. The grounds, pool, elevators and beach bar all need some work. Understandably after the hurricanes but they could be an issue for those people looking for those amenities on their trip. Some restaurants are closed in the area but they are all trying their best to get things back in order!

The condo itself was very nice and recently updated. Positives: clean, updated, amazing view. Negatives: I thought the bed was hard, pillows flat, the TV in the living room was not a smart TV and did not have an adapter.
