This is our second visit to the house and is a big hit with the family. We had 5 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog and had plenty of space. It is well equiped both as a house and also for pool use and beach visits with plenty of water and beach items to use.

Great Family Vacation

We came on vacation with our family (kids 13, 12 & 2) and our parents, and our dog. The home was very clean, we loved the pool & the close access to the beach & restaurants! We loved the yard for our dog & kids. We even took advantage of the path right in the backyard to walk on.Will come again!

Great Location

This property was really nice and roomy and we enjoyed the lanai area. Truly only downside was location on a busy road. Lots of loud road noise all night long. If you sleep sound, no problem. If you are a light sleeper like myself, make sure you take ear plugs.

The responsiveness of Sandy Beach was exceptional. Very easy to work with. The house was as pictured and clean. Easy to get to and close to the beaches. We did not use the pool because of the cold and rain. The property was beautiful. While the house showed well, the furniture left much to be desired. It was as if it were bought to stage the house rather than be comfortable. Not sure that was going on in the master bedroom but there was a cold (as in hide under the blankets) wind that crossed the bed nightly. Not sure if the windows need replaced or what. The other bedrooms did not have that problem.

a spacious, well-located house

this house is wonderfully spacious and was exactly what we were looking for – for five adults and an 11-month-old baby! individual rooms are quite big and are well spaced throughout the house outside there is a wide patio area, with a fine pool – though at 2.5-3 metres (8-10 feet?) we thought it was too deep to be a leisure, family-friendly pool the location of the house is ideal for a family: there is a Publix supermarket just five minutes’ walk away, with several other Publix supermarkets, a Winn Dixie and a Walmart all within a few minutes’ drive for other shopping, we thought Tyrone Mall was the best shopping centre while the one-hour drive to Ellenton Premium Outlets near Sarasota was well worth while! there is no shortage of leisure activities close to the house: the nearest (excellent) beach – Indian Shores – is only five minutes’ drive away while the equally wonderful beaches at Redington Beach and Sand Key Park are not much further away … and Busch Gardens is less than an hours’ drive away – a great day out! finally, I have to say that the people at Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals were wonderful: from booking to arrival they were always there to help and advise – responding to queries within a matter of an hour or so all-in-all, this house has a lot going for it!

Family time together

We had a great 5 night stay with a son in Florida and the rest of the family from PA. The messaging was very prompt and helpful and we were very great full that we were able to do an early check in and late check out (for a very reasonable fee) that worked well with flight times. The home is in a great location and public parking at Indian Rocks Beach was only 3.7 miles away. The home is very well stocked, has lovely decor and the pool area was wonderful! The back yard area and walking track behind the home was also very nice and useful since we had a dog with us. Plenty of pool and beach supplies to use stored in the garage as well. We had our son bring a crock pot with him since there was not one at the house and may be something to add. So, overall this was exactly what we needed for our 5 adults and 2 infants. Will definitely check it out again if our schedules work for the future.

July 2024 Family Vacation

Over all we had a wonderful stay and a great time! My two critiques would be that we could have used a better explanation of how to use the pin pad to get in the house. We were locked out for 30 minutes with 4 small children and our dogs in mid July Florida heat before the management company had to come out and let us in. Then the AC in the house could not be turned down below 72 per the owners request and it was just too hot inside the house to be comfortable. Other than those two things we had a great experience. Our kids loved playing in the pool, the beach was a short 5-6 minute drive, and Publix was right around the corner!

Great vacation spot

The house was clean and as pictured. Everything about the house was great. The managers responded promptly to any questions before or after booking. The house is close to many beaches and is in a nice neighborhood. We enjoyed the walking park behind the house as well. We would return to this property.

Great spot for family vacation

This home is beautiful and spacious, great for a family. It’s in a very convenient location, near a grocery store, and not a long drive from the beaches. The pool/patio area and yard are amazing and fun. The only thing to keep in mind is that not every bedroom has a TV, if you’re used to sleeping with a TV in the room.

Lovey property with a great open space

The property has been professionally renovated and well kept with a pool, grounds, and general maintenance. The outdoor grill was not in a usable condition and it appeared that neighbors co-share the trash bins, which was unusual.
