The location of this condo was perfect. Beach was beautiful. 3 star review is due to unit condition. So many things added up that needed addressed or fixed that took away from this being relaxing and comfortable. Being without patio doors on an oceanfront condo is unacceptable.
1. Juice & chocolate were on the walls & kitchen cabinets
2. Patio glass door had hand prints & elbow smudges all over
3. Patio screen door was upside down, the handle on the wrong side - this was a fiasco & was never resolved. Maintenance came, broke it trying to muscle it out instead of removing it correctly, left it on our patio stating he had no truck to take it & that the screen guy would come the next day. This after HE broke it. We went the entire week without being able to use the screen/patio door.
4. Master bedroom screen door was broke, roller on the floor on the balcony & could not roll or shut properly. This was never resolved either. The maintenance man looked at the broken roller, never picked it up & told me I shouldn't be opening it anyway. Part of having a bedroom on the ocean side is to open up at night when it is cooler & listen to the waves. Went the entire week without being able to use this feature of the master bedroom.
5. Grease smudges on the door frame in master bedroom
6. Master bedroom shower doors were filthy, had not been cleaned on the inside or outside. Mold in shower.
7. Master bathroom cabinets have screw holes & need repaired. Not trying to be picky, but this speaks to the presentation & upkeep of the unit
8. Dirty under beds, Wendy's straw, water bottle lids, shows the lack of cleanliness
9. Master bath exhaust fan covered in dust
10. Couch is not useable, you sit & you feel metal. We watched tv in the master bedroom.
11. Previous reviews had complaints about the master bed being noisy & squeaking. I inquired about this before booking & I was assured this would be taken care of before our stay. It was not.
12. Carpet in MB needs cleaned
13. Front door is so stiff you bruise yourself, appears this is b/c the door put hole in wall, electrical tape all over wall
This unit needs a good pick me up, the couches need replaced, & the master bed issue resolved. I wanted to rebook for next year, but was never asked & would if the items are corrected. Exterior maintenance was excellent, pool, grill, HT clean.
