We got there in the evening and the building an address was difficult to find. So I would definitely recommend getting there during the day. I’ve rented a lot of Verbo‘s and usually when there’s this kind of difficulty, you can reach the owner by phone and that wasn’t an option so we just had to model through the email directions in the dark that would be my only compliant other than that the place was beautiful as described comfortable and well appointed the pool is gorgeous and the people are nice. The parking is convenient and the complex is located so close to so many cool places. I would definitely take this trip again and I would recommend this unit. Just be sure to get there during the day when you can figure out where you’re going.

This unit was great for our visit as the bedrooms were on opposite side of the unit offering maximum privacy and distance. I was there for treatment. My husband and I had the main bedroom and my mother had the second. The owner was very responsive and helpful as it was our first visit.

Lovely vaction at The Avalon in Clearwater

Considering all of the issues that the people of Florida have had to face, after two horrific hurricanes, we had a wonderful vacation in Clearwater. The property was lovely, the pool was fantastic, and the weather was really great. A big thumbs up to all of the people of Florida for making our vacation wonderful for me and my sister.

Property not cleaned or prepared - Host refused refund

The condo was not cleaned or prepared for our stay. The Host refused to refund us or provide us with other accommodations and basically sent an email stating, I just spoke with my cleaning lady and the condo was ABOSLUTLEY prepared for you even after she received several photos of all dirty bed sheets including the pull out couch, dirty towels laying on the floor, dirty bathrooms, dirty sinks, floors and blinds. We basically had to find other accommodations at 6:30 PM for a 5 night say which included a weekend for 5 adults including immune compromised ones.

Total gem!

The place is as advertised - luxurious! For the reviewers in the listing that say the gym is too small or neighbors were too loud, we experienced none of that. Our neighbors were kind, considerate, and really a non-factor. The gym, unless you're used to training for a powerlifting or bodybuilding contest, is more than sufficient. We visited 3 times during the week we stayed and had great workouts every time. Another reviewer indicated a bad neighborhood. Not sure where that came from but everything you need is within a short drive or even walking distance. Publix is directly across the street, 2 nice restaurants/bars within walking distance, and Clearwater Beach is a mere 5-minute drive away. The fact that both couples on our trip had their own king bedrooms was optimal. And the pool, what a treat that was. Very large and very nice! We spent a lot of time just lounging here. If you are sensitive to the sun and require more than one umbrella, I would recommend renting another one during your stay. The condo does have 1 good-sized umbrella but the other is for a single chair. We rented another so everyone would have coverage, when needed. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property.

Awesome get away place. 5 stars

Beautiful, super clean condo in a nice gated community. Well equipped kitchen. Super comfortable rooms and layout. Everything we needed for beach days was also available in the unit. Very nice community pool area. Excellent location. There is an Abe's restaurant right outside the complex, walking distance. It has burgers, wings, etc., which was a decent meal. The condo is right across the street from a publix, dollar tree, and other stores. There is also a costco not far away. We were able to stock the fridge and have breakfast in the condo, as well as make and pack sandwiches amd snacks for beach days. Convenient location from airports. Short drive to clearwater beach and downtown area. It is also an easy drive to Indian Rocks Beach, Sand Key Beach, Fort de Soto, Dunedin, St. Petersburg and the Dali Museum, as well as clearwater aquarium. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to all questions. 5 stars. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, beautiful pool, close to the beach. So nice to have the umbrellas, beach chairs and towels available to use. Loved the layout of the condo and the two bathrooms.

High crime area and dirty

So dirty inside and out. Shocked when I arrived after 10 hours of driving. Never stayed there. Walked in and just sick about the whole property. Thought I was in an apartment complex

Nice Condo

Very nice place. It is a condo complex with a mix of owners that live there and vacationers. The condo was very well stocked & had everything we needed. Parking was convenient to the condo and it was just a short walk to the pool. There is a very good restaurant and plenty of shopping within walking distance. Clearwater Beach is a 10 minute drive away.

Home away from home

Alexandra is a pleasure to communicate with. There were no issues accessing the property. The condo is aesthetically pleasing upon entry. It is adorned with beautiful decorations, nice large bedrooms that are well furnished and have comfortable beds. Lots of pillows, blankets, towels, and everything you need to cook & eat a meal. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which is so nice to keep beach towels and swim suits clean!! It is so convenient that it is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, and umbrellas to make your day at the beach wonderful!! There is a broom and dust pan to keep the sand off the floor. There is even some condiments, dish soap, dishwasher liquid, spices, toilet paper, and a blow drier. We enjoyed our week stay!! I only have two negatives, which aren't deal breakers by any means. The tile floor needs a good scrub. It doesn't look dirty (the grout does), but soon after arriving our feet were dirty from the floor (which doesn't look or feel dirty, maybe residue from mopping??) Also, the furniture in the living space, while pleasing to look at, really isn't very comfortable. Again, not a deal breaker, just my honest opinion. I would like to see some magazines and more games, cards, etc. for families! We did use the Pictionary game. Overall, we dealt with the negatives and were thrilled with our stay here. It truly was home away from home.
