The actual unit was nice and relatively clean. For a booking for two adults, I would have expected more than one wash cloth and it lacked a bathmat. Parking was very tight in the small parking lot (I had to climb through the passenger door of my vehicle twice because the other cars were parked far to close for me to open the driver side door) and other tenants seemed to park wherever they wanted, ignoring the assigned spot signs. Communication with the host was horrible. I kept receiving emails that I had instructions or messages from the host but when I clicked the link in the email, VRBO app indicated that there were no messages in my inbox. Finally called host directly to explain this. He texted me information and I requested that all future communication be done via text due to the issue with the VRBO app. He ignored this request and attempts to call/text him since have been ignored. Seems a new property management team from California took over this about 6 months ago from the local agent in Florida. Funny enough, they failed to take down the previous owners contact information, as I found out trying to contact them as I was not receiving responses from the contacts in CA. I would not recommend this property until they can work out the transition and communication issues.
