This was a terrific spot! Close to everything and comfortable walking to restaurants and shops! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner and beds were comfortable. They were so helpful and accommodating when a family member fell ill on our trip. I will be staying there again and again when we revisit St. Pete.

Great getaway in "old Florida" style

This is a perfect "Old Florida" cottage. We have stayed here previously and it is always remarkably clean. Check in is easy -- when we arrived the house was cool as a/c and ceiling fans were turned on. Wireless works well. There has been updating in the kitchen since we were there the last time and it is still fully equipped (except don't expect a dishwasher -- remember "Old Florida). Full washer / dryer. We like that the location is only a couple of blocks from the dog park and it is a short walk through downtown to restaurants, shopping, the beach, etc. Beth is extremely responsive and accommodating.

Tyn & Marty - Perfect!

Wonderful cottage. Looks like original hardwood floors! Well stocked kitchen, plus bonus side burner on grill for outdoor cooking. The place is setup great for entertaining with sunscreen covering the outdoor table and patio lights to enjoy the evening. Bonus location is easily walkable to restaurants and pickleball!! We will be back next season for sure!

Great cottage and location

We very much enjoyed our stay here. A short 2 block walk to Gulfport retail/restaurant district that we visited every day/night. So many great restaurants and bars. And walking distance to waterfront. Cottage was very clean and safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Gulfport getaway

Excellent location. Close to Gulfport Beach. Everything we needed while staying to help out daughter after hurricanes. Would stay here again. Please fix the front storm door.

Nice place to relax

We stayed at Tyn and Marty's cottage after our house flooded during Hurricane Helene. The cottage was incredibly clean, cozy, and stocked well. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and the neighbors were very friendly. While we weren't staying for vacation, the comfort of the cottage was exactly what we needed at the time and would have been great for a vacation. The location was perfect for staying in Gulfport and the host was also very easy to communicate with.

Sweet sweet place

We loved our stay at this darling, snug house. It suited our needs perfectly. It was clean, neat, and defined the term ‘beach house.’ We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great spot with easy access to a small beach and fishing pier. We walked down and grabbed coffee from a local shop a few blocks away. Beautiful house and yard. Amazing communication with property owner which made me comfortable from day 1.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay and would book it again. The cottage was comfortable very well stocked with supplies. Very big back yard only 1 block from downtown. The only suggestion we would make to the owners would be to consider replacing the mattress in the main bedroom.

Perfect location

This Gulfport home is in a great location. It was within walking distance to their downtown area. It is also about 15 minutes from St. Petersburg. The small yard was perfect to hang out and let the dogs out. It could have been better kept, but it worked for the time we were there. They also supply you with enough of the essentials you need to get started. The house also has a fun interactive picture like frame that changes daily with events in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and very cozy

Location, location, location! Just around the corner from Gulfport's Beach Blvd with restaurants and bars. It's also just a short walk to the beach. This is a very cozy home in a nice and safe neighborhood. This was the perfect home for our week stay in Gulfport. I would definitely recommend this home for a couple or small group. Thank you!

Great visit with family

This was a great place to stay,can walk to the beach,shops,restaurants,playground,bars.It’s also dog friendly. Has everything you need beach towels a wagon,though there is no dishwasher we bought paper bowls and plates.The cottage it self is cute,roomy,quiet,cool and very comfortable.I would definitely go back.

A delightful cottage in Gulfport

Beth was an absolutely wonderful property manager for this cottage. Her communications were timely and clearly expressed. She was involved without being intrusive and was always responsive when we had a question. The two of us stayed with our Labrador Retriever. It was a great location for him -- just a few blocks from the dog park and lots of dog-friendly parks. We especially enjoyed taking him to Clam Bayou (formerly Osgood Point) on the Gulfport Side. Across Clam Bayou but back in St. Petersburg (a short drive down Pasadena Avenue to 37th St, go south to 34th Ave South and turn right -- it dead ends at the park). There is a small beach, a walking/biking trail, a doggie water fountain, and a lake. Be careful around the lake -- after all, this is Florida and there are alligators. The house location is just steps away from Beach Boulevard with Siri's, Backfin Blue Cafe, Pia's, and Gulf Perk. Of course, the COVID pandemic has changed eating out but one can still get take out and some places have outside dining. You will have to check at the time of your visit. Gulf Perk has a delightful outside patio and welcomes our canine friends -- they also have a great cream cheese, lox, bagel, capers, and cilantro meal. Enjoy Gulfport, we do often.

Nothing better than a cottage in Gulfport!

Home is so cute, well stocked and with a great outdoor space. Ample partying for 2 cars. The full size gas grill and proximity to restaurants downtown can’t be beat. Great wifi signal if you need to work from home. Sufficient water pressure to make you forget you aren’t at home too! Beds are comfortable and all appliances work well. The photos don’t lie. It’s a great beach cottage. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay in The Tampa Bay Area.

This is a wonderful find in the St. Pete area. Located in the quaint old fishing village of Gulfport. A short walk to a wonderful little downtown with shops and restaurants. Perhaps if you get to know a member of the nearby Pasadena Yacht and country club, you would have an opportunity to play one of the best courses in Florida. The cottage is also a short 10 minute drive to beautiful St. Pete Beach. There is also tennis, pickleball and volleyball in Gulfport. Beth, the property manager is outstanding, with regular communication and responsiveness. We will be using this cottage again.

Ty & Marty's Summer Cottage

Very pleased, the home was very clean, had all the necessities, nice fenced area for our little dogs, beds comfortable. Beth is wonderful, responds quickly, 2 minor problems, taken care of right away. The location is amazing, 2 parks to walk dogs within minutes & about 7 mins to the beach & Boca Ciega Bay. Beach Blvd one block over & has many restaurants, O'Maddy's is our favorite & great pizza at Siri's. Tuesday market is great, street is lined with vendors of all kinds. Deli there for most of your needs, Dunkin Doughnuts with walking distance, Skyway Jack's on 34th has a great breakfast. You can be in downtown St Pete in 15 mins, nice walking trails. Tampa 1/2 hr away & Sarasota about 50 mins. Neighbors were very nice also, very friendly. We loved our stay & hope we ca return next November.

Super little place!

Back porch light does not work. One outlet in living room does not work. Kitchen cabinets need organization! BBQ needs a good cleaning and there is no propane so we could not use it. The house is in a great location. Walk to town. Lots of hot water! House is very enjoyable. Off street parking is a plus. Instructions to operate tv and WiFi are excellent.
