We had a wonderful 2 weeks. The accommodations were great and the pictures were exactly correct (even better in person). Richard was a great host. The location was ideal as we loved being able to walk everywhere. Downtown is a 15 minute walk to every restaurant you can image. The pier has a great beach if you don't want to drive. We definitely lucked out with the weather. From our messages back and forth prior to our visit and the very extensive welcome binder, Richard did not miss a beat with what we needed to know about the area. He even left some treats for our dog as a "stocking stuffer." We would definitely return and rent again from Richard. The apartment was fully stocked and we stayed in nights and even cooked full meals as well since the kitchen had everything you needed. Everything about the property in the write up is 100% true. Thank you Richard!

Warm & friendly, gorgeous property and neighborhood. Wonderful to have a driveway. Hosts are wonderful and helpful. So much to do in St Pete without ever getting in your car. Also lots a easy day trips

It’s Like Coming Home!

We stayed at this welcoming guest cottage several years ago when Richard was beginning his journey as a VRBO host. The high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and beauty he provides to his guests are still evident in 2025 as they were so long ago. The location in old northeast is walkable to so many exceptional restaurants, museums, and one of the most beautiful walks along the water in Florida. We cannot wait to return!

Beautiful, Comfy, Well stocked, Close to everything!

Palm Arbor Suite is a very nicely decorated modern space. It has everything you need for cooking in the kitchen if you wish to stay in and is close to many great restaurants if you’d rather dine out. The neighborhood is beautiful and is within walking distance to the beach. The front patio is filled with many beautiful lush tropical plants and has a table and chairs for two which we enjoyed every evening with a glass of wine and coffee in the morning. The bed was super comfy and the shower was nice and hot. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!

Wonderful Stay

This vacation rental was just perfect for me in so many ways. Cozy and comfortable, Richard thought of everything to make the stay feel like home. A bottle of wine with many different snacks greeted me when I first entered this adorable cottage. The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is supplied with everything you can think of to make a meal. Staying in this area is great for easy access to the beaches and city of St. Pete. There is so much to see in this wonderful area and I loved being able to walk to the parks ,waterfront, and shops on Beach drive. Hoping to return again next year.

We just love this place!

This was our 4th trip to Richard's place and we don't have a bad word to say about. It's so well decorated with everything you could possibly need, set in a great neighbourhood. Richard is always on hand for even the smallest thing and we've come to love catching up with him each time we return. Thanks to him as always!

Best Vacation Rental!

Such a lovely home away from home! All the thoughtful little touches from the starter supplies (wine and snacks included), and comfy beds and furniture, to the well equipped kitchen, not to mention a book filled with a plethora of local recommendations were so appreciated. As a host, Richard has gone above and beyond. And as an added bonus the neighborhood is so charming, with it's cobblestone streets, lovingly restored homes, and lush gardens.Location is good also...sandwiched between commercial area with restaurants and coffee shops and the beach. What's not to like?

Relaxing Getaway

From the moment my mom and I walked in we both instantly felt relaxed. It was a hot day and there were two cold water bottles waiting for us. You can tell every detail through out the home was done with the guest in mind. Richard was on his own much needed vacation but it didn’t stop him from sending a text the day prior and another one checking in mid week. His property manager Peter came and introduced himself the moment we settled in. He was super nice and made sure we were comfortable. Now the location is just amazing. It’s within a quaint historic neighborhood close to downtown St. Pete. I am originally from the area and I come home often to visit family and friends. I now have my go to place. A big thank you to Richard and Peter!

Walkable/Comfortable duplex

The cozy little duplex was well priced, clean and very comfortable. We didn’t want or need anything. Walking distance to great food. Each morning we walked and jogged the area around us and to the beach, before heading out to different areas. Perfect location for us as we are both retired but very much active.

Best Ever

Richard has created a beautiful and comfortable getaway. The property is VERY clean and well appointed. I was traveling with my dog, Honey…..she and I both had a great time. Close to wonderful restaurants, shops, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful and Welcoming getaway

A Charming Retreat

We had the most incredible stay at the Palm Arbor Suite. The apartment was quaint and cozy, meticulously clean and very well-decorated. Richard provided everything we needed for our nine-day stay and was so friendly and helpful. The property is just beautiful; a tropical oasis, so close to downtown. The neighborhood is very walkable, full of gorgeous historical homes with such a variety of architectural styles; near many restaurants and parks and only a few blocks to the water. It was a perfect spot to wait for the birth of our first grandson, and visit our family in St. Pete, Tampa and Sarasota. We hope to return very soon.

Just what I needed!

I live in downtown St Petersburg. An apartment complex is being built about 12 ft from our condo. The noise is non-stop 6 days a week. I have tinnitus & the noise was increasing my condition. I found this cute home in a VERY quiet neighborhood in Old Northeast surrounded by trees. Easy access to downtown St Pete, Publix, Trader Joes, etc. Great for walking/running due to little traffic. The host was great! Booking process quick and easy as he responded very quickly. He even checked in with me via VRBO messaging during my stay. I would highly recommend this place and the area!

Old Northeast Condo

The condo was comfortable, cozy, clean and modernly equipped with everything I needed to be a pleasant home away from home. It is very well managed and maintained. The location is great, in a charming walkable, neighborhood close to downtown St Pete attractions and nightlife. Was a great place to stay.

Home from home

Quiet residential location down cobbled street, close to coffee shops and restaurants and also walking distance to the bay and pier. It is not the 'bare minimum' type of accommodation you would normally visit, but very homely and decorated with ornaments and nice touches that remind you of home. Being a small unit there is a shortage of space for belongings, such as in the bathroom, but the homely feel more than makes up for this.

Perfect for a couple

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute one bedroom apartment in Historic Northeast St Pete. Richard was kind, courteous and quick to respond to any correspondence. Peter came down to greet us and to let us know he was there if we needed anything at all. Both were super-nice! We hope to stay there whenever we visit St Petersburg in the future.
