It's a good VRBO. There were some hickups with the management company agents communication with us (email- telephone) but otherwise it was enjoyable. Carrie, the management companies administrative representative was a bit stressed, anxious, and somewhat argumentative. The thing to remember with most VRBO is you won't have instantaneous contact with staff like a hotel. Bill, maintenance etc, was on sight and was a pleasure to deal with. The only odd thing is they have a few in-room beach towels for guests but you have to wash them before you leave which wouldn't be a major burden if there were more than one washer and dryer on the property. So, you can imagine if you're checking out at the same time as even 5 of the other 20-30 rooms before 10am then it can be a challenge to get access to the washing facilities. Other than that all good, next best thing to being beachfront is being a maximum of 40-50 yards from the public beach access. Also, Madiera beach doesn't seem to get as crowded as other beaches we've visited on Spring Break.
