Boating Weekend

For my Husbands birthday he wanted to just take the boat out and stay Fl west coast (we live about 2.5 hrs away on the FL east coast). It just so happened to be my best friends spouse's birthday weekend as well and this rental fit our needs/wish list. The condo was affordable, clean, waterfront with docking that pulled up to the condo with a paid boat slip through the marina. The gentlemen we dealt with there was AMAZING- highly recommend. The condo was walking distance to an amazing breakfast cafe, Johns pass boardwalk area where there were more restaurants, shopping- such a cute area, the only down side was the onsite parking wasn't ideal for a condo that sleeps 6 as only 1 vehicle allowed and offsite parking was pretty expensive- up to 100/day was the pricing we were being told from lots nearby. Luckily the marina had space for out truck to stay parked with our trailer, which was close but not really walking distance, while we let our friends vehicle use up the 1 the parking pass. Parking was the only reason I gave the overall a 4 and not a 5. However, everything else was definitely a 5! We took an Uber to downtown St Pete one night which was only about 20 mins away and has an amazing restaurant/bar life there while venturing around by boat in the beautiful waters by day. There's something about being on the water that always truly makes it a vacation for us! My husband has visited this area before but it was my first trip and I do highly recommend!

Annual family vacation

The condo was exactly as advertised. It is in a great location. The check in process was very easy. The one drawback was only having one parking spot. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This is a great place to stay, I have stayed in 2 other units in this same "resort". This particular unit is a great space, but the furnishings are very poor. The table in the living room had a leg falling off and the "pull out couch" did not pull out. I had read reviews and figured that some of the furnishings were probably replaced by now, but they were not. Basically if they updated the furnishings, it would be much better! The chairs on the balcony were also in bad shape. I would stay there again if it was updated.

Enjoyed a long weekend here!

Overall, we had a great time. The day we went to check in the air conditioner in the unit had broken, but they were quick to replace. The repairman left a pretty decent mess on the floors, but the front desk sent someone up ASAP to remediate. The dishwasher wasn’t working either. The kitchen could use some additional supplies, and the furniture could use updating including the balcony chairs, which were on their last legs,. Those are the only cons. We loved being able to walk quickly to the beach and to johns pass. Pool is much smaller than appeared in the pictures and got pretty crowded, so we tennded to avoid that Enjoyed sitting on the balconies and watching the marina. Didn’t use our car for the whole time we were there, close to restaurants, shopping, boat, tours, and we rented electric bikes as well. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Nice Getaway

So this was a Birthday week for a special Birthday. The property was nicely located. Convinent to beach and John's Pass. They could use to upgrade the chairs on balcony's but other than that accommodations as described.

Condo Maria Maderia Beach

Place was clean.... Location good... Staff friendly... Would stay at this location again... One suggestion... The living room couches were very uncomfortable. You could feel the wood frame.... Time to invest in better couches.... Chairs were fine...

great location, pool was broken but gave a 10% refund. Lisa's breakfast 1 block fabulous. 2 blocks johns pass so fun! Across street is a beautiful beach 3 minute walk.

Great stay

Great location - easy to get to the beach as well as other spots we wanted to see such as Ft DeSoto. Kitchen a little lacking, but not unmanageable.

Great location

The condo was nice but did have a few issues. The TV had a bad display but it was replaced after a few communications with the property manager. The were a few odd thing for a condo that is listed as sleeps 8, no actual dressers in the bedrooms, only has seating for 4 at the dining table and 2 bar stools at the counter. The condo could use a some updates specifically the furniture in the living room was kinda dated and worn. We made due by bringing in chairs from the balcony. 1 of the bedrooms has pocket doors that would not close completely when we arrived but again the property manager did get a maintenance tech to come and did improve how they closed. There is only 1 parking spot provided and so if you have guests or additional family you will have to purchase a parking pass form the city which we did at a cost of $200 a month. The pool and hot tub are shared with another building and was not always warm but again they did have a pool company working on it several times during or stay. Overall it’s a great location to the beach and Johns Pass.

Good location but condo big disappointment

Condo had old bed covers on that were disgusting. I had to wash every blanket before using.. Very bare minimum towels and kitchen. Stuff. Terrible lighting. No closet in bedroom with twin beds. Worst place that I've rented from as of yet. Not recommended at all.

An okay stay

The apartment was not cleaned well. There was a heavy damp smell when we arrived. We had to do a good cleaning of the floors, dishes pots and pans, coffee pot and blender, as they looked gross. One of the maintenance people told us 'that's how all the weekly rentals are' when we asked about the tiles of the kitchen popping out. I know that is not true. We have been coming to these beaches for years. Anyway, thankfully, they brought a carpet to cover the area so that my elderly parents would not trip and fall. They said they will fix the floor after we leave. The furniture is older than it looks on the pictures. We chose to cover the sofas. The linens and towels are clean and the beds are comfortable. We come in this area almost every year and we love it. This year, unfortunately it happened to be during the red tide. We still had fun!

Terrific!

So clean and spacious...too bad about the red tide but what you going to do?? Location is great! I would give this property a 10 but please replace those balcony chairs. They are all broken and falling apart.

Clean, great location

It was just as the pictures described , simple and clean. The balcony views were beautiful. The location was close to the beach and John’s pass. We rented bikes two blocks away , walked to John’s pass for parasailing, and also plenty of places to walk to for dinner. Thankfully the red tide was gone by the time we got there and we were able to enjoy the beach.

Amazing location & room

This room was very clean, we felt very welcome at the front desk. Amazing view of the ocean / gulf side. Highly recommend staying here with a group or even just with your partner. Walking distance of multiple things to do!

Great time spent but horrible check in process

Before you book here be aware that even though check in time is 3pm we didn’t get our room till 5pm. It was very upsetting plus the fact that they said they would call when it was ready and they didn’t! You only get one parking spot on the property. The jacuzzi has yellowish water and the next day they was a sign that it was not working... the Pool water was cloudy also. Cleanliness and the room was good until I saw a spot on the rug and a red stain in a pillowcase.
