The Yoda House is amazing!!! Check in was easy, everything was clean and ready to go. The house was spacious and can easily accommodate multiple families. During our stay we had six adults and two young kids. Everyone had their own space and the common space was large enough for all of us to hang out. It was nice having multiple kitchens. We bought all of our food and drinks on the first day and there was plenty of room to store everything to keep it cold. The view and access to the beach was perfect. At one point an upstairs door lock broke and the service person was there within 30 minutes to fix it. Getting service was quick and easy.My family is already planning our next visit. We are hoping this will be our annual family vacation spot for many years to come. And we brought our own Yoda.Thank you for sharing the Yoda House with us!

We had a great week at this house . We have a large family and this home fit the bill. It’s a quirky house , three places actually and everyone had their own space . Everything was very clean and in working order . The back deck was a jewel . ( still being worked on but did not effect our stay . )We watched the sunset every evening. There are many restaurants walking distance . The beach is literally steps away. We spent hours just floating in the water. We brought our own umbrellas but beach toys and floating tubes are there. It’s also nice that a speedway was across the street for little things . Thank you and hope to rent again

Nice Vacation

Overall the stay was good. The check-in was super easy and plenty of room for the family. Description of property was not accurate with the pictures but I know the hurricane that happened last year changed that but need to update the pictures. Location was great.

Family Vacation

This is the third year we have stayed at Yoda House. It fits our family reunion perfectly. We were impressed this year that the property was refurbished so well after suffering hurricane damage. We will definitely stay again.

The house had plenty of space for our family of 10. The kitchens had everything you could need to cook meals. The patio had plenty of seating and the balcony provided shade for some of the patio which was nice when you want to be outside but away from the sun. The views were great. You can watch the dolphins every morning and evening!

Great Home On the Beach

This home is right on the beach that made it easy for all of us to go swimming. Great home for a large family. Everyone had their own room with a bathroom. Very sad to see some of the devastation from the hurricane. We will be back!!

Family vacation

Wonderful experience; we lacked absolutely nothing… by far the best vacation house we’ve ever stayed in… The beach access was so perfect, and everything from the beds to the bathrooms and the kitchen were fantastic.

Spacious Getaway

We had a great experience at this property. Large home, lots of open space, great access to the beach and most everything you need! Everything was great except for the grill. It needed a warning label. We would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!

Great for large group and great location.

It is difficult to find a place that has five bedrooms. It had everything we needed. All 12 of us could sit at the same table for meals and fun game activities. The beach is just out the door.

Perfect beach house

The Yoda house was better than expected. The house was well appointed, on a beach, with beautiful sunsets. Walk to restaurants and bars. I would rent again

Great beach get away

Great accommodations for a large group. We had 3 families so it was nice to have several areas of the house for additional privacy. 3 teenage boys loved the efficiency area.

Great property and location. Had the best vacation. just a couple comments about possible concerns.

Loved everything about this property. Right on the beach. Lots of space. We were 14 people. Family of 4 (2 teenagers with mom & dad) who took the room near the street w 2 beds and 2 couches. Then 4 couples. Who took the other 2 bedrooms upstairs and the 2 bedrooms downstairs. Then 2 single people who were on pull out couches (1 pull out couch downstairs and 1 pull out upstairs). FYI, there is a 3rd pull out couch upstairs - but that’s how we chose to split up the single ppl. I am not sure if I would suggest this place to 14 people unless you don’t mind people walking by the pull out couches. I think 12 people sleep most comfortably. Then the dishwasher on the main floor doesn’t clean the best and I don’t think the air worked very well on the main floor. It wasn’t too hot during our stay but that might be a question if you stay when it’s hot. Finally, the room by the road does get some noise. It only bothered me 1 night but for the most part wasn’t horrible. All of the positives really outweighed any issue we may have had. The company managing the property were really quick to address any questions. There are 3 kitchens. Each had a coffee pot, fridge/freezer, stove & oven, microwave, toaster. We were close to lots of stuff. About 1.5 mile walk from St. John’s pass that we walked in 30 mins and some of us were happy to take the local trolly/bus just a couple of stops down to st.johns pass. I had the best vacation and would definitely stay again.

Family Vacay 2023

We take a family vacation every October and this year we stayed in the Yoda Beach House it was perfect for our family of 14. The house was big enough to give each of us our own space but brought us more together as a family. We loved the location and being able to walk right out the back door to the beach. Wonderful beach access, nice large property-needs some attention

We had a good stay and thank you for the quick response in terms of replacing the grill. For the price we paid, however, I did expect everything to be working. We were told there would be a refund for the propane too that I haven't seen yet, and We did notice few things that you may want to consider repairing - some to protect yourselves. 1. We were asked to lock all doors and windows. That wasn't possible. No matter how we tried, the door behind the blue couch in the room leading out to the patio would not lock. Anyone could walk in at any time. Some of the doors upstairs didn't lock either, but it was the downstairs one leading outside that was our concern. 2. The handle to turn on the water in the downstairs shower is very loose & with the water getting quite hot it would be a burn looking to happen. 3. The grill that was replaced was trash - not useable. 4. The so-called firepit is trash. Personally, I wouldn't call it a firepit. It's a metal container where people have used charcoal to start a fire and the top is totally broken so what you have is a light weight metal container. We did like the layout of the house. It easily had enough space for 13 of us and could have held a few more easily. Between the layout of the house, the fact that the issues I've raised are easily fixed, the management was responsive, & the beach was great, we'd stay again - for sure!

Nice size for large family

House was nice size for 3 families. Very nicely decorated and amenities, especially the three kitchens appropriately supplied. Nice big table for 10 was very accommodating. Disappointed in outside landscape maintenance and lighting for the price. Both passage ways to second floor were outside, but we got used to it. Ice maker did not work in one of up kitchens and ice was and issue. Had a very nice time and cannot beat the very short distance to the beach.

Stunning Views

Yoda House was wonderful. Checkin was simple and straightforward, the place was clean, and huge! There was plenty of room for all of us to gather when we felt like it, but also have private, quiet space when we wanted. The views of the gulf from both downstairs and upstairs are absolutely stunning! We enjoyed the fire pit with nightly s’mores after a day at the beach. Perfect! The grill was quite crusted over with grime, but one of our party cleaned it and it should be sparkling clean now! We had a slight problem with a broken door knob, but maintenance responded promptly and fixed it. One thing: the instructions say that the trash doesn’t need to be taken to the curb, but my husband happened to be out there when they came by and they told him it must be taken to the curb. This was a great house, don’t hesitate to book for your large group!

Perfect Place for a Large Group!!

My hockey team stayed at the Yoda House and we had the best time! Super clean, spacious, kitchens were fully loaded, BBQ grill was clean, great seating for large groups. We had enough bath towels and beach towels for everyone. Great location steps from the beach! Great view from the upper deck for gorgeous sunsets. We will definitely stay again when we come to this area! Thank you!
