We found the rooms clean and nice. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, which is important for us, as we don't eat out much. We loved that chaise on the balcony and the wooden furniture. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It was also nice that there was beach paraphernalia, although we don't need that much. I'm not crazy about vertical blinds, they rarely work well and I am always afraid of breaking the slats. The sliding door was in great need of a new gliding mechanism, which had clearly been put off for some time and finally stopped working while we were there. The folding camping chairs in the closet are not suitable for beach use, which we found out after googling them because we couldn't collapse them.

Old and out dated

Very outdated and couldn’t get the patio door open it’s so old and heavy. Kitchen ceiling lights were all cracked. We only showered and slept there so I didn’t really mind too much.

Spring Break

Had a lovely stay, had all we needed for the week. Loved the view and the beach, pool area was awesome, patio was under construction. We were able to use the grills next door- it was everything we needed. Loved our time in Indian Shores.

Beach relax

Condo was decorated with a great beach vibe…pool was nice but beach in front was the real appeal for us. It was really nice to have the owners beach chairs available to use. My sister stayed in a different condo in same bldg but managed by different agency. They did not have beach chairs. The kitchen was well equipped however the knives were ridiculously blunt. I do think the policy of only supplying the initial amounts of dishwasher, dishwashing, laundry detergent as well as toilet paper and paper towel should be revisited. When staying for just a week it is a pain to have to buy this stuff… Overall we had a very relaxing week at this place. It delivered what we were looking for!

Great location

Management very friendly and responsive. The unit is in a great location but very very old and many items need to be replaced. There were other updated units for a bit more so you will have to decide if you’re better suited for old and cheaper or updated with higher cost to rent. The washer lid is broken and the washer will only start if you have the warm cycle on. The light in the master bathroom is melting and needs to be replaced ( we called on that) both toilet seats need to be replaced as there is obvious wear where people have sat! The unit was clean but everything is very worn out.

Indian Shores Vacation

The location is very family friendly. We spent many mornings and evenings on the deck relaxing and watching the ever changing sunsets. The condo was very clean. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable. We would recommend this place to others.

The location was spectacular. This is a great area. It was like renting an old beach house in New England. The unit was very clean except for some kitchen utensils and plates. The unit needed a lot of maintenance but most was not critical. Like the door entry handle was loose and the paint around the door frame was pealing and the door did not seal. The storm door has a broken hinge and would not close. The refrigerator was missing a shelf. One of the stove burners did not work. The sliding glass doors were pealing on the outside and one did not lock. Again none of this was critical just annoying. We did have a great stay. It was very relaxing. We called the morning after we arrived to report the issues stating they were not critical we just wanted to be sure we were not liable for any of the existing issues. The owner contacted us about a week later and offered to have some service vendors come out and fix stuff but we told them they could wait until after we left. Again We had a great vacation and the location is fantastic, the unit just needs some work.

Skip this condo

The view, beach and pool area is the only thing this condo has going for it. Too many repairs needed to list. Not only is it dated but it is rundown. Rust, corrosion and peeling paint and that’s inside.

Great Vacation!

We had a great time staying in Indian Shores! Our condo was great! The pool and beach were pretty much right outside our door. The view was spectacular! We definitely would go back!!

Would Not Recommend

This condo has not been touched in years and it shows. From the paint peeling off of the walls to the filthy floors to the rotting door frame on the front door. I was very dissappointed in this condo. When we checked in there was no information on the wifi so had to call the office and they did not have the information either. It ended up being written on a scrap piece of paper located in the master bedroom under glass on the bed side table. Both toilets did not work from the day we got there. I called the office on Monday about getting toilets fixed, for them not to show on Monday or Tuesday. Thank goodness we had friends in the same complex as we had to use their bathrooms. On Wednesday both toilets had to receive full flapper set up and flusher handles. For these big of repairs, these should have been completed before renters got there. (the condo was vacant the week before). Both back sliding glass doors do not lock. I would like to speak with someone on this as I believe some sort of refund is due to us. Thank you,

Could use some updating.

Property needs to updated, stains on the carpet, peeling paint in bathroom and rip in a chair. I emailed the manager because there was a wrong date on the parking pass but never got a new one.

Wonderful Week in Indian Rock Beach, FL

We enjoyed our brief stay at this nice 6th floor, oceanfront condo in Sand Castle I in Indian Rock Beach, FL. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and head home to PA, due to the breakout of the COVID-19 virus, so we didn't get much time to enjoy the beach and pool. Many of the restaurants were partially or fully closed by the time we left. None of this was the fault of the owner or the property manager; the place was very nice. We just wish we could have fully enjoyed our time there. Maybe next year!
