We spent 2 weeks in early 2026. The positives: the views of the beach, and the location directly across from John’s Pass shops & activities were unbeatable. The negatives: There was not a single amenity to found. Not one beach towel, not a single beach chair. The pots and pans were warped & rusty. Spent 50 at Dollar Tree equipping it with basics like salt & pepper, scissors, clothes hangers…you name it. The chipped and dated/dirty furniture is exactly the same as another reviewer pictured it back in 2023. We didn’t dare fire up the dishwasher, as it had obvious damage to the foundation near the floor. The bathroom electrical outlets did not function the entire time we were there. The property manager sent a maintenance person to check them the first week. He reported them working fine…yet they still did not. I spent every day cleaning up piles of human and pet hair from the prior guests…albeit with a filthy broom and cracked dustpan from the closet. We bought 2 beach chairs and left them there, in hopes the next guests would not have to “outfit” the unit as we had to. It’s a shame the unit is not better cared for, because it really has the potential to be amazing.
