Great location however construction made it bad

Location was very good, easy access to beach.Family friendly beach, clean sand Bed was comfortable.Elevator has its own times!Construction noises were horrible and loud from 8am till 5pmBalcony was closed due to construction Furniture is not new! Living room chairs cushions worn outBeach toys and games are very few and many rusted chairs, no umbrella available Heavy dust on top of fridge and bedroom windowAC lowest temp you can set is 70F!

Amazing location, beautiful condo!

We loved this place! Right on the beach with beautiful views. So convenient for families. Very clean with all the needed amenities! Property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only complaint was the elevator. It was out of order when we arrived so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights and my daughter and I actually got stuck in the elevator on day 4 or 5 of the trip and had to call for help. But aside from the elevator snafoo we had a wonderful time!

Gulf of America

The rental did not disappoint us. The beach was clean and not crowded. Our rental included anything we could have wanted. The property manager was good at checking on us. It was nice how the door lock worked and check in was simple. Our only complaint was not having use of an elevator, although this was disclosed before we secured the rental.

Fantastic view

This was our first time staying at The Chateux. Our condo was perfect and everything was as pictured. Couldn't ask for a better view of the ocean. Only downfall was the elevator was still out which is to be expected due to the two hurricanes hitting the area last fall. Thankfully our condo was on the third floor so the steps were tolerable. Will definitely stay here again. Check in was super easy and the host was very responsive to text messages.

Beachfront Perfection!

We loved our recent stay, condo was exactly as described and furnished with everything we needed including beach chairs & accessories! Bed was super comfy and linens were good quality. Pool area had plenty of chairs and was well maintained. The property manager was proactive with communication before and during our stay which was appreciated. Having visited the area before this location was perfect and a quick walk to Indian Shores coffee shop. We were aware prior to booking that the elevator would likely not be in service-this was not a concern for us but could be for others. We would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful trip

This was a beautiful vacation. We stayed in Indian Shores several times and always enjoy the location. This condo was beautiful and accurate to its listing. It was a nice central location within walking distance to restaurants and right across the street from mini golf. We saw Dolphins in the gulf right off the deck of the room. The check in process was great and communication with the property owner was excellent. I really like that. She sent us a message the next day checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. I wouldstay here again. The pool was also very clean and not crowded. Very quiet place.

Broken elevator

Our stay didn't start off well. The elevator was still broken from the hurricane. It was our understanding it was supposed to be fixed by January. Hauling all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs was NOT fun. The unit itself was nice.

Such a beautiful view.

The place was amazing. It was clean and it had everything you could need. The ocean was beautiful and so was the pool. Very clean. The only two issues was the elevator did not work and has been out for a long time. Three flights of stairs (47 steps) was a lot for me. And the other thing was the pool cleaners came during the morning, thru in chlorine and said the pool was closed all day. Very sad. They should do that overnight.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was super! The bed was very comfortable. Great location too! Had a slight hiccup with the AC and owner responded immediately and fixed immediately. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect location

The property was clean and was represented well by the pictures posted on VRBO. Check in could not have been easier and the staff was very responsive to questions we had after arriving. The location was perfect, right on the beach and close to so many great restaurants. And the sunsets were incredible. We're planning on a return trip next year.

Wonderful

We stayed here for 10 days and even that was too short. The unit has a wonderful beach theme. The view is fantastic. The little things make such a difference. There are carts to bring up your supplies in the elevator. Food in the fry pan in the kitchen doesn't stick. Towel supply was more than adequate and the washer/dryer is such a convenience. I had two questions that were answered promptly by the owner. We will be staying again!

Wonderful

For the two months leading up to this stay I was concerned that it would be too good to be true. As soon as we arrived I was blown away by how nice it was. It is even better than the pictures on the site if you can believe that. It was a beautiful place and I would definetly recommend going back.
