The pull out couch was extremely misleading - it was 4ft by 2ft. There were no sheets for it. My 6 and 8 yr olds couldn’t fit on it together. The king bed felt like it was about to break. There was no space to put suitcases. There was very little space for 2 adults, let alone 2 kids. The pool was extremely small. We were so disappointed that we left as soon as we could find availability at a hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. It would be appropriate for college spring break, not a family vacation.

Was walking distance to so many restaurants! Beach sunsets were beautiful!! The only thing would have wanted a dresser to put clothes in but everything else was wonderful! Room was ready little early which was great and very clean! Hope to come back again soon!

Ladies weekend

Location was great. Friendly guests. Pictures can be a bit deceiving as the place was a little smaller than it looked online. Overall good value, safe neighborhood. Would stay there again.

Not the best but not the worst

We've stayed at worse places before but this one definitely left something to be desired. Overall wonderful location but the interior was lacking. Maintenance issues that needed to be resolved and just general TLC. We've stayed in numerous places in Florida before so we know the palmetto bugs are prevalent, but this condo definitely had the most we have ever seen. Didn't appreciate seeing them on the kitchen counter. Parking wasn't convenient either: we were given a pass to park blocks away in a city lot. It's a nice condo and got the job done, but we won't be staying here again.

Great Location - Issues resolved quickly.

We booked in July & after booking saw 2 bad reviews in August & September, so we were a little concerned. Our friends have stayed in this location for years & told us not to be worried. We love the location - within 2 blocks of CVS & Speedway Convenience Stores & tons of restaurants. The pool is great, but they were having some issues with the heater & circulation. The lights came on in the pool on the 2nd or 3rd day we were there. When we entered our unit, there was an odor & that was an issue in the previous reviews. The Property Manager immediately sent someone out to check it & they put in a dehumidifier. We bought air fresheners & dryer sheets & dispersed those in the unit. The smell didn't get any better - it was sort of a sewer/methane gas smell. It didn't hurt anything, it was just unpleasant. We also had roaches - not the big huge 2 inch palmetto bugs - little 1/2 inch roaches. The Property Manager sent someone out to spray. We saw at least 3 different insects. The dehumidifier put out a lot of heat & the air conditioner struggled reaching temps of 80*+, so we turned it off & notified the Property Manager. Someone immediately came out & fixed the AC unit, as well. We would stay at this location again - the issues were addressed quickly & efficiently. We did not ask for nor were we offered a discount for our stay.

Clearwater beach suites #102

Full of roaches, both dead and alive. Dirty, stained , outdated. Smells like mildew. Ruined vacation as far as not unpacking in that roach infested place. Roach spray under sink lol. I wrote immediately and they said they would send someone to spray but never did. Said they spray monthly, which if we’re true wouldn’t be any roaches. Appliances half work, shower half works too. One of the worst places I’ve stayed on vacation.

Thankful it's over

Problems with our stay included, a car getting towed, an entry code not working, blood stains on the bed sheets, and a strange stench in the room. First when you arrive there is a welcome email saying they value their guests and they would like to let you in early if they can. We arrived at 2:15 and check in was at 4, I called and spoke with a lady and she interrupted me and said no check in isn't until 4 and another email would come with steps on how to get in. So we had to pay for additinal hours of parking, because there really wasn't an accommodation for early check in. When the check in email arrived there were instructions on placing a parking pass in your window, there weren't any specifications on what the parking pass is and that you can't park in front of the pool without a special pass. We put what we thought was the parking pass in our window and had our car towed. When we called for help the representative said he couldn't help us and then thankfully he did end us helping us, BUT he sent me to a WRONG address to pick up my mistowed car. Terrible! I lyfted to the wrong address and was sincerely scared for my life. Additionally, when we first arrived the code didn't work for our door, we had to use a back up key and there is only one of them. Lastly, there was two blood stains on our sheets and strange smell, I wasn't sure if it was from the cleaning solution used or the mold at the top of the shower. Overall, this felt like a nightmare experience and I am glad it is over.

Above all, the location was what I wanted for vacation. I missed not having a balcony to sit on in the morning and night, but being steps away from the beach was a great trade-off. I had a few snags checking in, my door code did not work. I had to use the key in the lock box which kept getting stuck. Maintenance showed up right when we arrived for a water issue in our bathroom that he, himself, was able to repair, but someone showed up Monday to fix, water all over the bathroom floor for the first few days was not fun. Also, there was a full load in the dishwasher and dishwasher was not run. I had run the dishwasher (obviously, no big deal) but I also had to unload the dishwasher if I wanted to use it at all during the week. Overall, our stay was great.

I’m not one to nit pick but when the small things start to add up, your experience becomes less enjoyable. Did not get room access till I left multiple voicemails asking for access, finally received an email with access. It was a Sunday tho. Room had like a musky, sewer gas type smell to it. But couldn’t pin point the location, it was definitely coming from outside the room. A few days later we found out from folks a few rooms down that a toilet above our room was clogged and overflowing. This was most likely why the ceiling in the shower had water dripping steadily from the ceiling light for a few days. Kitchen was clean and had all the amenities except forks. Not a huge deal. Didn’t leave any food out but killed two cockroaches in the kitchen. Pool heater caught on fire which was located a few feet outside the room. The parking pass is for a lot down the road, not at the property. When called about the smell, lady said they would get a dehumidifier in the room. That never happened nor did anyone come by to check things out. My goal isn’t to bash the rental company, just rating our stay and providing details at this location.

Percent location; great for families

The property was exactly as listed. The location was really close to the beach. It was quiet. No party goers. Perfect for a family. Keypad on door was hit or miss if it worked or not, but there was an emergency key. You should bring your own toilet paper. There were only two rolls provided and the whole town was sold out. The blankets provided for the sleeper sofa were light weight and small. Overall, really pleased with our stay. Thank you for having us.

Nice property, closed to the sand/beach. Many restaurants, shops, entertainments. May be I appreciate more solitude, but other people prefer to be closer to the action, is just a matter of preference.

Nice condo, great location

Overall, great property at an great location. Unit is well furnished and clean. Pool is nice with deck chairs and tables. Location is perfect and it’s so close to beach, restaurants and other shops. Only 2 issues: the combination door lock never worked even after the office did a reset. We used the emergency key which was not a big deal. Also, the lighting in the kitchen is bad. There’s a tiny bulb in the overhead fan unit that didn’t work most of the time so we had to move a lamp into the kitchen to see at night. During the day, there’s enough natural light to get by. Both are minor things and we would stay there again.

Can’t wait to go back.

Can’t wait to go back, what more can I say. Great location, within walking distance to just about anything you would need, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and most importantly the beach. Every aspect of our stay what is top notch. The cleanliness of the unit, the supplies in the unit. I suppose in the unit I mean the small things paper towels, trash bags, salt and pepper, silverware, plates just a lot of the little things that sometimes get overlooked out of vacation rental unit. Probably one of the things that my family enjoyed the most was the most unlikely, the swimming pool. When we made the reservation I honestly didn’t think we would use it that much. in hindsight it was perfect way to start or end the day. Me and my 5 year old spent time at the pool while the 15 year old went shopping with mom. Both the unit and pool had plenty of beach toys and pool supplies. Like I said earlier can’t wait to go back. Five stars all the way around.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

We stayed five days at this property in August . It is conveniently located so that you can easily walk back and forth to the beach. The pool is right outside your door and is kept clean. The online registration is way too long and too invasive. There is a company that manages this property on behalf of the owners that is terrible. Because of my experience with these jerks I will never do business with Vrbo again. The freezer didn’t work and never did. The property owner provided us with bags of ice during our stay and continually checked with us . I don’t really understand why there is a 2nd middleman (Belloise Realty) but they cost VRBO any of my future business.

We had a blast. The location is as good as there is in the area.

The location puts this property over the top. Any issues we had were addressed quickly. Parking, like any beach property is hard to come by. Once you find a spot, it’s best to keep it and walk as much as possible. With the location, there is no need to drive to do anything beach related. Everything is within walking distance.
