Enjoy the central St Petersburg area at the Jitterbug! Our spacious one bedroom has all the comforts of home and then some! Most of our guests have enjoyed the apartment for a month or longer! We are within 15 - 20 minutes of both the Tampa & Clearwater airports.
The central location is perfect for those who want to be anywhere within the `burg` in 15 minutes or less & just a few miles from I275 making `beyond the burg` a breeze. Plenty of restaurants & shopping plaza`s just down the street.
A quiet and comfortable place to rest your head while exploring and enjoying St Petersburg. The apartment is within a small 6 unit complex designed for vacationers like you! Just bring yourself! The apartment has everything you could need during your stay.
Enjoy all the shared outdoor amenities such as, washer and dryer on site, heated pool, outdoor lounging areas, picnic tables under the shaded oak trees and picnic charcoal grills.
There is also dedicated parking for your unit - I do have a few visitor spots as well for additional vehicles.
Everything inside the home is for your private use - please note all outdoor spaces are shared among the small 6 unit complex.
You will access your apartment with a personalized code, given to you on the day of your arrival once the apartment is ready for access.
I love interacting with my guests. However, that interaction relies totally upon you! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make the most of your stay - even if it`s just recommending some favorite things to do around town! I want you to have the best experience at our apartment.
The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe. Although the apartment complex is centrally located, the street is extremely quiet. Pine trees and birds surround the property and there is a small local baseball field across the street.
The best way to get around would be by car - although Uber would be totally doable if you are just looking to spend time downtown
This apartment is one of 6 at this small complex designed specifically for vacationers.
All outdoor amenities are shared including, the heated pool, sun loungers, outdoor shower, picnic tables and picnic grills as well as our Washer and dryer on site.
Each unit has their own dedicated day to privately use the washer and dryer - The Jitterbugs opportunity for laundry are Thursdays between 5pm - midnight. Sundays are first come first serve!
There is dedicated parking for each unit with a few additional visitor parking spaces.
Check in is at 5pm HOWEVER, I will always send the check in once the apartment is ready for access. Many times, that is around 2pm. Friendly Reminders Before Your Stay:
Third-Party Bookings: If you’re booking on behalf of someone else, please let us know in advance. We’ll need their full name, phone number, and a valid photo ID before approval. While your own Airbnb account is verified, a third-party guest is not—so this extra step ensures safety and compliance for everyone. Many hosts do not allow third-party bookings, but we’re happy to accommodate them with proper verification.
Damages & Responsibility: Please treat the home with care during your stay. The booking guest is responsible for any damages, late checkouts, or additional cleaning required. This includes plumbing issues caused by flushing foreign objects, excessive toilet paper, or baby wipes. If a plumber is needed to remove a clog or restore service, the cost of that visit will be billed to you as damage reimbursement.
This is a commercial property with a commercially serviced pool. While the pool is cleaned twice weekly, weather can sometimes affect its condition between services.
We cannot issue refunds for temporary closures or weather-related impacts (such as storms, wind, or debris).
Health inspections occur about every six months, and occasionally a new code rule may affect pool availability for a short period.
We always do our best to keep everything in top shape, but sometimes things are out of our control. If pool access is essential to your stay, feel free to ask about current conditions before booking.
Pets: We love hosting furry friends! Please let us know before arrival so we can include the $300 pet fee, which covers the extra cleaning care they require.
The fee is per pet—if you’re bringing more than one, we’ll manually request the additional fee after your booking is confirmed.
If a pet arrives unannounced, the $300 fee will automatically apply after check-in.
Cancellations: This reservation is non-refundable. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans in case something unexpected comes up.
Smoking: The home is non-smoking indoors. Smoking is welcome outside only—please use designated areas and dispose of butts responsibly. A minimum $500 fee applies for indoor smoke remediation.
Extended Stays (29+ Days): Stays over 29 days must be requested and approved in advance. We’ll require your photo ID, email address, and a signed lease agreement confirming your check-in and check-out dates.
No security deposit is required; however, there is a $365 private insurance cost that will be requested after booking.
Your reservation is not fully secure until the lease and ID are received.
