Great overall rental, but could have been cleaned better. The place was tidy, but not clean. Many of the high contact surface areas were grimy and the bathrooms hadn't appeared to be cleaned at all. I purchased a couple of cleaners at Walmart... problem solved. The location and amenities of the rental were great. Super convenient to travel between Dunedin, Tampa, and St. Pete. We also appreciated the courtesy beach supplies and the on site pool.

Oscar was always very responsive and easy to contact. The property was exactly as described and we had a wonderful experience and trip. We made new friends at the wonderful pool. Conveniently located walking distance to Abe’s Restaurant and Public’s grocery store.

Apartment was a lot larger than the pictures made it seem. Loved the open floor plan and the pool was awesome. Our only complaints were that there was no wash cloths and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper. Other than that the property was beautiful and being so close to everything was a plus. Thank you for opening up your place.

Good location, but...

Overall the place was ok. It was conveniently located to a lot of attractions and had nearby shopping centers. The condo, however, could use a good thorough cleaning. There was hair in the bathrooms and kitchen, dust behind doors and on lamp shades, and rust in the tub and sink. The dishes were left dirty in the cabinets. Also the over abundance of signage was off-putting, particularly the bathroom signs directing us to not flush toilet paper, but place it in a small.trash can next to the toilet (gross!). For the most part, the place was ok. However, it would have been nice to know ahead of time about the toilet paper issues.

Aside from Hurricane Ian….

The day we arrived the Tropical Depression became Tropical Storm Ian and headed for Tampa so our stay was short. Condo was okay but plumbing fixtures need a lot of work and hot water was not hot.

Nice place near the beach

This is a solid location if you want to be near the different beaches available in the Clearwater, Florida area. Convenient shopping across the street and in a gated and safe community. Definitely a good place to stay and Oscar (the host) was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Avalon Condo was a great place & location

We loved the condo, exactly as shown in pics. Only 3.5 miles from Clearwater Beach. The facilities and Pool was very nice! We looked all week for a favorite place to eat and it was right next to our Condo. We found it the last day there …Abe’s has excellent service and the Best Wings & Burgers in town! Will def stay at Avalon when visiting Clearwater and Tampa.

Location is good, everything else was mediocre at best

Liked location of property but found this unit subpar. Upone arrival the floors were noticeably dirty (Had to re-wash ourselves) The plumbing seemed inadequate as there were signs/notices in both bathrooms instructing us to put our USED toilet paper into the trash can instead of flushing (ewww gross). Toilets did indeed backup whenever #2 was involved. There was noticeable rust in both bathtubs and the sink in the master bath had very cheap fixtures. In the kitchen we experience dirty coffee mugs and a coffee machine that did not have auto shut off as a feature. There are signs everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do which we felt were off pudding. Most hosts have a one page or a binder with the rules of the house not plaquered signs affixed to the walls. Furniture all photographs well but in essence it's all IKEA furniture. Communication was not the best. Had to ask for code day before. On the up side the pool area is very nice so consider other units in this same complex but I would stay away from this one if I were you.

Excellent stay, great location!

My wife and I and our four legged, furry "child" had a wonderful stay. We were in town for a family event and this provided not only a comfortable homebase for us but was a great location to see our family and still be able to visit the beaches easily. We were maybe 10 minutes from the beach but that also kept us out of the traffic. Condo was on the first floor and there was plenty of space to walk our dog. All of our basic needs were covered in the kitchen and there was a grocery store across the street for food and supplies. Also, plenty of places to eat nearby too. Carlos was a great host, very accommodating, and we would definitely recommend staying here!
