Absolutely loved!!

We came down for a family vacation and we absolutely loved everything about our stay. The condo was clean and a very comfortable stay for our large family. Everything we needed or wanted to do was conveniently located, from the store to the beach and other activities we enjoyed. The owner was wonderful and very communicative with us. We would definitely like to return again and would absolutely recommend this condo to others.

Family stay in Madeira beach

Great location near Madeira Beach, grocery store, restaurants. Spacious unit for family of 4. Pools and gym were conveniently located and enjoyable for all. Good communication with owner and easy access to unit. Good value for money. Only two downsides: unit lacked natural light given orientation vs other buildings in complex and there was not outdoor space with the unit as the two patios were enclosed for year round use.

Happy Vacation

My husband and I decided to try this condo because my daughter and her family were trying another at the Yacht Club for a first also. We absolutely loved it. We usually rent other places but wanted to meet up with our family members. We loved it first of all because of the cleanliness, where it was located and because it was very private. These are all of the reasons we are renting again next year.

May Getaway

We have rented condos at MBYC several times. This condo did not disappoint! Location was excellent, one of the piers was 80 steps from the condo. Great location for pool access. Kitchen had everything to prepare dinner when we were up to cooking. The ambiance was great. Plenty of comfortable seating. Bedrooms were large, great closet space plus a large top loader washer and dryer. Certainly would rent again from Valerie.

Great location

Great location, close walk to the beach and not far from Johns Pass. The rental had lots of space and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner was very fast with communication. Only downside with the rental was the pool was not heated and we were there when the temps were cooler and the lack of natural sunlight that you get in the rental. However, we were rarely there in the daytime.

Great vacation!

We had a great time staying here! Liked the location and what’s around. Although, it is a 5-10min DRIVE to John’s pass if you prefer to be close, not really walking distance. But lots of parking around - so not a big deal. Appreciate the amenities - beach gear available for use. Loved being next to ball fields. Fish tacos at Snak Shop amazing! 5-10min walk to beach with kids and gear. Only a couple of things that we were bummed by is the the hot tub out of order (which sounds like has been for awhile”) and fitness room old and dated. Again, all good - got more time outside! Would definitely stay here again

Disappointment

The location was decent however, the property itself was not. There is ZERO natural light in the condo and it feels very closed in as the ceilings are only 7-7 1/2 high. If you’re a tall person it is very uncomfortable and tight. The bedroom with the double beds smelled like urine and the comforters were covered with some sort of dried up bodily fluid. The pots and pans are very old and what used to be silver is now black. The fridge was filled with a bin that said “owners” and had all sorts of condiments in it. So, we were unable to use almost an entire shelf in the fridge. One of the side rooms has mold on the ceiling and curtains. The Xbox in that same room also didn’t work. The beach chairs were rusted and difficult to get opened and closed. The beach cooler bag doesn't zip and is ripped so it leaks. The condo felt as if it was someone’s full time residence and they quickly packed up so that we could come in. I’m thankful that nobody in my family is allergic to cats. There is obviously a cat that lives there and that was not disclosed. For the amount of money that I paid, I feel like we were not fully informed of what we were getting (or not getting) for that price.

Great location for walking to everything you need.

First time to Madeira Beach for Thanksgiving. Cooked entire Thanksgiving meal here and we had everything we needed. Owner easy to communicate with. Very comfortable.

Great accommodations and location!

Family of 4 adults had a wonderful time at Valerie’s property it is in a great location walking distance to beach, restaurants, Bars and grocery/liquor stores. Spacious unit with everything you need for your vacation from cooking and going to beach no need to bring anything only your food and drink. Valerie was quick to respond to any inquiries I had. Definitely would recommend and would love to stay again in future.

Great Place!

We stayed here for 8 nights with our two teenage daughters. It’s close to the beach and restaurants, and the two pools are very nice! The condo has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

Perfect get away

This was one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed at. Kitchen very well stocked . Beds very comfortable. The condo location very convenient to beach and local grocery and restaurants. I did not want to leave. . Property owner Valerie very receptive. We were here for softball tournament but we will make this a regular vacation spot for years too come!

Amazingly well stocked, perfect location

I stayed here with my husband and toddler for about ten days, and this location and condo was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchens I've ever used. We made every single meal in this kitchen (except for two lunches out) and had everything we needed. The beach is a ten minute walk (beach cart made this easy) and the condo has some beach toys, buckets, shovels, balls, umbrella, chairs, etc. There are a few beach towels which was plenty for us but if you had a bunch of people you'd probably need to grab a few more. There are two pools in the complex, and one is very close to the condo. They were not crowded and kid friendly. There is a free splash pad in the ROC park about a 2 minute walk from the condo, and a playground, butterfly garden, and fishing pier in the park. Winn Dixie, CVS, and a Dollar store are within walking distance and made life so easy with a kid. We drove to Johns Pass (5 minutes away) for shopping, ice cream, etc. We drove into St Pete to do the Chihuly museum and that was only about 25 minutes away. Tampa is close (40-60 minute drive), and we flew in and out of the tampa airport. We had a friend stay with us for a few days and we did not feel cramped at all. Parking was no problem, and we had no trouble accessing the jacuzzi and the fitness center. Check in and check out was so easy (contactless) and we didn't really need much but when we did reach out to the owner the owner was quick and responsive. We'll for sure stay here again.

Met our needs

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for a swim meet in St. Petersberg and while we were farther away than we wanted we had exactly the flexibility we needed. It was a quick drive 20-30 minutes from the pool. While half the family was at the swim meet the rest of the family could enjoy the pool or walk to the beach. The accommodations were aligned with the pictures and provided everything we needed. We were able to grill at least one night which was perfect for a low key night. We ate out most nights and there were plenty of options close by. Communication with the owner was great. We will definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area.

Perfect stay for our young family

This location was absolutely wonderful for our young family. The playground across the street was very popular with our youngest, the beach was an easy walk. Two pools available to mix it up. Everything needed was provided. We had a great stay!

Madeira Beach Yacht Club

Valerie and Bernie’s condo was wonderful, great location, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Everything anyone would need , fantastic location in a gorgeous condo complex. Owners were exceptionally responsive and helpful with any questions. Highly recommend!

Paradise

This is the most well stocked kitchen that I have ever stayed in. The one pool is literally 60 steps out of the condo and one of the docks is about the same. The queen beds could use a pillow mattress topper as they are overly firm. The access to the grill was absolutely unbelievable. Great memories. Do yourself a favor and book today❤️
