  • This vacation condo is perfect for families and couples who want an affordable, resort-like stay in Florida. The Condo is located on the 3rd floor. No elevator. The condo is only 3 miles away ( 5 minutes drive) from CLEARWATER BEACH, named BEST BEACH of 2016 in the US by TripAdvisor. The condo is on the third floor. The Condo has been made brand new with hardwood floors, tiles, new TV's, and a brand new oven, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine. The master bedroom contains a King sized memory foam bed and a brand new 40 inch Roku (Netflix and Amazon Ready) TV as well as its own huge bathroom and walk in closet. The second bedroom has its own walk in closet and a Queen sized memory foam bed. The living room has a brand new 55 inch Netflix and Amazon ready TV as well as a sofa sleeper. The two bathrooms have been newly renovated. The condo has high vaulted ceilings and has a balcony that is perfect for enjoying the Florida weather. Includes free wifi as well as TV service with channels like ABC, NBC, FOX, CNN as well as channels like Disney and Nickelodeon for children. The apartment complex itself is very quiet and private with gated security and has a HUGE resort style pool that is rarely crowded and great for families as well as a fitness room that is open 24/7. The complex also provides a club house with a TV and kitchen for relaxation before going to the pool or any time it is open. It is located across from a shopping center with a supermarket and within walking distance of great restaurants as well as fast food restaurants like Wendy's, McDonald's, Papa Johns, Dunkin Donuts, and Chinese Food. The complex is only 5 minutes by car from beautiful CLEARWATER BEACH which has been consistently and constantly rated as one of the Best Beaches in America as well as the nightlife of Clearwater Beach. The condo is also close to the Tampa, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs areas of Florida which have lots of attractions and history as well. If you have kids, the condo will allow you to relax for the majority of your time while also being only 90 minutes from Orlando Theme Parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld.

Great stay for visit to the area

The property manager is extremely responsive. The unit is well equipped, the pool and amenities are great. It was a great visit to the Largo/Clearwater area.

Excellent location and property

It’s the third time I’m staying at the Avalon community and it’s great as always. My parents loved the apartment. The host was wonderful and very responsive.

This is a perfect size condo for my family.

The owners made this rental process super easy. They are very responsive. This was our second time staying here. We will do it again.

It’s okay

First let me say the people who rent this place were nice and attentive. Now here’s the truth, this is not a fancy condo in s great location. This is miore like an apartment complex with a pool. Now the number of the unit is 105 you would think first floor NOT Itz 3 flights up. So if you can’t walk up stairs this place is not for you. The unit is large but in generally shabby condition. The blinds are all tattered, the decor is old and dated. The apartment had neighbors that yelled at night outside the unit. There were a lot a police cars and siirens in the Area. The location is convenient to Clearwater Beach without traffic about 15 minutes but the area around the unit is not very nice.. We had thought about moving out but had invested money to rent this unit. The fitness room equipment needed to be updated, cleaned and repaired. The pool was fine. The unit was well stocked with supplies. But in general it’s not a luxury condo so be prepared

Lovely time in Clearwater

This was our 1st experience with VRBO and it went very smoothly. The unit is in a great location, close to everything we wanted to do and the property was well maintained. Even the weather cooperated! 😊🌞

Great condo with nice amenities!

This condo was nicely stocked with kitchen and bathroom basics and more. They also provided nice beach chairs and toys available for use as well - and beach towels. This condo contains everything you would need for a nice beach vacation and was approximately 10-20 minutes from several area beaches (Clearwater and Dunedin), 5-10 minutes from Clearwater Aquarium, shopping and restaurants and 10 minutes from the cute town of Dunedin (shopping, restaurants and breweries). The Avalon condos are gated and well kept, with a nice pool and workout room. Gary and Anastasios were gracious hosts and were available for questions if needed. We had a young child and were impressed with the brand new pack n’play and high chair made available to help make our stay and travel easier. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning on a future trip.

Nice location and pool and everything available you need

We liked the location as near our favourite supermarket Publix (just across the road). Easy acces as entrance has seperate traffic light. The pool was nice and there was always place. It only gets shade in November after 3pm from building which covers half the pool which is a bit pity. House was very complete and as we in Europe start counting from the ground flour it was only on the second floor for us (nice surprise). We definitly liked having Netflix on all three tv's and the recliner couch. In the second bathroom the shower was not fully functioning as part of water kept flowing through crane. The house was well stocked with everything you might need from appliances to towles and beach chairs,Quick communicationg with owner. We would definitely come back to this house.

Convenient, Clean, and Comprehensive

The unit is so nicely located out of the hustle/bustle of the beachfront properties, but close enough to be very accessible to all things at the beaches. The unit was incredibly neat and tidy. Very simple furnishings that really appealed to me. The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the unit was very nice. Gary and Anastasios had all the things we needed very handy. The passes and key for all amenities were very organized, they had a little library of nearby attractions, and there were fun beach things in the unit for our use. It is true that it is on the 3rd level, but the stairs were very easy to accomplish.

Great Condo!

Dissapointed

The apartment was alright and clean but getting to it was my problem. I knew it was on the third floor when I rented it but they neglected to tell that you had to climb stairs to get to it. Me and my wife are in our 70's and I had a accident about a month ago and I am going to have surgery on my spine so I had a very hard time getting up and down the steps and also my wife had to get all of our stuff to the rooms as I could just barley get there myself. To make a long story short we mostly staid in our rooms as the stairs were a killer to us. Will recommend it to someone in their 30'S though but most of those in that age group cant afford it.

Great vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful two weeks at the Avalon condo in Clearwater. What a great location, so convenient to everything from Clearwater beach, the Largo cultural center, and Phillies spring training. The condo was sparkling clean with the conveniences of home - wifi, cable TV, Netflix, etc. We especially enjoyed the pool!

I wanted to write a few sentenses about our stay in Gary's apartment - we are so lucky we decided to rent this place ! It was love from the first sight ! A beautiful apartment , nice furnished , with gut taste . Close to shopping center and restaurant ; I would recomend ,, Sweet Tomato bar '' , delicious !!!! ( unknown in Europe )Gary was a wonderful host - asking , if we need something .We were totally happy and comfortable here . if we decide to come to Florida again we'll take this apartment - for sure ! Bostaden stämde väl överens med de beskrivningar vi erhållit från fastighetsägaren. Med tanke på läget, inredning, bekvämligheter o.s.v. Bostaden var välstädad och välskött när vi anlände. Fastighetsägaren visade prov på god kundservice och kontaktade oss regelbundet under vår vistelse för att kolla så att vi hade allt som vi behövde. Vi skulle absolut rekommendera den här semesterbostaden till andra.

Great Condo

Great Condo exactly as described, pool was never crowded had places for shade and also sun, minutes drive to Clearwater Beach and Pier 60. Abe's restaurant around the corner had very tasty dishes and entertainment. Publix is right across the street, everything you need is really close. Owner was great checked in on us a couple times during the week. Next time we travel to Clearwater we will definitely stay here. Thanks for everything!
