This is the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. Beautifully designed cottage steps away from Main St. We loved the ease of the gas fireplace, which heated up the cottage quickly. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. They had the place perfectly decorated for Christmas. We would stay here again.

This was literally the perfect post-wedding retreat. The space is charming, romantic, and cozy. Not to mention you’re basically right on Main Street, so we barely used our car throughout our stay. We enjoyed almost every element from the fireplaces, to the Jacuzzi tub, to the quaint living room. The only bummer is that you have to purchase your own propane for the fire pit if it’s out. We missed that detail ahead of time and were disappointed when we went out there to read. You guys truly have an incredible space. We will absolutely be back!

Amazing

We loved our stay here at The Guest House. The home was beautifully decorated and the location was perfect. Within walking distant to Main St where you will find lots of shopping. Owners responding fed promptly to my messages and referred us to an amazing restaurant, Prasino, to celebrate our anniversary. Although we did not use the back patio, it looked to be a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the evening. 100% I will stay here again.

The attention to detail and history of this property is amazing. Not to meant a fully stocked coffee bar and snacks provided by the owners!! The jetted tub and dual shower was fantastic!!

Perfection!

We travel to St. Charles very frequently and have stayed in several of their properties. This one is my favorite so far for a couple stay. The location is perfect proximity to Main Street, parking is available directly in front, the bed is huge and comfortable, the tub is massively delightful, the double shower is spectacular, the cozy hang out nook is adorable, and the full kitchen is icing on the cake. Great outdoor space and fire pit as well. (We didn’t use it this trip-but plan to in the future.) We don’t usually stay at a place twice, but I would here!

A cozy, inviting retreat

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the property and surrounding area so much. The property was so cozy and inviting. We especially loved coming into the warm gas fire after exploring the shops that line the streets of St. Charles.The owners were also a pleasure to work with and they were very accommodating.

Luxury accommodations

For those who look for a VRBO with all the extras, this is one for you. Super clean. Beautifully decorated. Deep whirlpool tub is Schwab and fully functioning. Also a great shower. Robes provided that are large enough for most. The bed is a king. It is high but there is a step stool provided. There are 3 televisions. They are smart tv’s but also have a cable function so personal logins aren’t required. The door on the right is the functioning one. The fireplace in the bedroom provides heat and ambiance. A great stay!

Perfect and cozy

Loved our comfy cozy romantic stay. They thought of all the nice things to make our weekend stay easy and comfortable. Snacks, coffee, waters, little snuggly nook to hang out in and plenty of seating if you have a couple friend visit. Everything was nice and clean ! Plus a 1 min walk down the road to St Charles historic shopping !

Beautiful historic stay in Saint Charles

We stayed here for our wedding in Saint Charles. The atmosphere and overall condition of the house was truly a testament to the care the owners take in this property. The history of the house and area is unique. We enjoyed being close to a lot of things, yet secluded.

Anniversary weekend in St. Charles

Perfect Place to Stay!!

This was one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed at. The home is beautiful, cozy but roomy, extremely comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need and then some - and the coffee station in the corner, with the Keurig and the multiple pods and the milk further, is an amazing touch. Also, excellent communication from the owners and very easy check-in and out! The house is perfectly situated for exploring St. Charles, and the beautiful downtown/Main Street area as well as the riverwalk. I would definitely stay here again!! 10 out of 10!
