This space was perfect for a girls’ week in StL. The area is actually very quiet (other than the interstate out the back door, which honestly, just provided background noise that was easily ignored, making the provided noise machine unnecessary). The space is very clean, has a lot of historic charm, and is located in an area that allows easy access to many StL activities. The only “down” side of the whole visit was that the living room seating is not conducive to comfortably hanging out, but who travels to sit around in the living room? We will definitely be returning to this or the neighboring spot as it was an experience well worth the cost! Highly recommend both the site and the hosts!

Perfect place to stay just outside the city. Location was within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to see or do. Clean, beds very comfortable. Felt safe, quiet on the neighborhood side. The I-55 noise is uncontrollable, but tolerable. Easy communication w/ host. Highly recommend!!

The house is in a great location and very clean upon arrival. Loved the kitchen with the huge island and we spent a lot of time there. The 2nd bathroom on the first floor with the washer and dryer was a godsend. We only needed the two upstairs bedrooms, but there is a sofa bed in the living room as well, if another bed was required. The dining room had several games for a game night. Several steaming channels were available if you were wanting a quiet night of TV. We were able to take advantage of sitting out in back on a couple of occasions. Outdoor table and chairs were provided. We were in town for 9 days for a wedding, so having this house as home base was great. I spoke to Ashley a times when we first arrived and she was quick to get back to me with answers to my questions. It was definitely a home away from home. We would rent from these hosts again.

The place was clean, comfortable, and very nice. We appreciated the large kitchen and the comfortable beds. Things to note: there are a lot of stairs (some outside and many inside to get to second level/bedrooms). As the listing notes it’s right next to the expressway and the noise is definitely a factor. Sound machines do help but we still all had moments of sleep being interrupted. I do think it’s priced well for what you get. The host is helpful and responsive - overall we enjoyed the stay!

The house was easy to find from the GPS,True to the instructions there was easy out front parking, easy access with the door code, it was clean, and right around the corner from the 2 tourist attractions but the neighborhood was so quiet we didn't even realized until morning when we passed them on the way out. Loved the laundry room option on the ground floor, we didnt use it but it was nice to see as we came from the airport and worried about wet luggage might have needed it. Check out was just as easy. 10/10

House was clean and cozy in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect accommodations for a mom and daughters friends weekend. Close enough to downtown to get everywhere quickly, but far enough away to give a small town cozy feel.

It was very clean and very inviting. The neighborhood felt safe and it was quiet, except traffic, but it blinds in.Supplies for home ever adequate. I might add a few of the plugs that go in the wall that you can put your phone charger into versus people having to get boxes, cause we didn’t have a box so we had to go buy one.We played clue and had a good time, but maybe adding a deck of cards or a card game like Uno would be good too or a card game family.I have RA and the stairs were a little steep for me and I didn’t realize how steep they were. I did OK, but they were a little steep. And they were hard to see because the paint stain is dark so at night I couldn’t see I could see the Strips of the reflective but not past that so that was a little bit scary and my son fell down them. But we had an amazing and relaxing time and if none of those things changed we would stillBe back! ThankYou for sharing your home with us

Unfortunately, we did not remain in the home as long as I would have liked due to visiting with friends. However, during our short time in the home, we enjoyed the comfort of this spacious, well kept unit! The hostess/host did a fabulous job putting together a manual identifying community activities and outlining procedural guidelines in the home. All necessary amenities were aptly available.

Great Place

Great location. Felt safe the entire time with my three young sons with us. It is close to a highway, but if you’re use to the sound of traffic, you don’t notice it. But they also had box fans and sound machines to drown out the sound. Very thoughtful property owners to have a pack and play and baby gates available. Location was great because we were only minutes from the arch, Busch Stadium, and the zoo. The bedroom are very large and spacious.

My girlfriend and I stayed a week here and absolutely fell in love with the place. Its quaint and quiet. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and it's very close to all of the major tourist sites in STL. Overall we loved staying and it definitely gives home away from vibes

Historic Neighborhood - Cool Spot
