The reason for booking was the listing for this property looked pretty solid and that it would be beachfront. From the moment I booked the owners were in touch and gave very detailed information about not just the place but all of the island with recommendations on restaurants, things to do. They also included clear and easy transport and check in instructions. We were greeted upon our arrival and given a tour of the property by Chris and he was available throughout our stay for any needs. The property was very clean, furniture was all up to date, comfortable and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked, laundry in unit made beach life much easier and enough towels and linens were available. The location was so cool at the end of the gap with the ability to walk to the restaurants and nightlife but also be calm to go to bed. Food, grocery and coffee were all within 400m of the property. The pool directly out the door, the beach access allowed us to come in and out as needed, umbrellas and chairs at a reasonable price and 3 beach restaurant bars right next door made it an amazing experience. We have stayed at VRBO s all over the world and the team making this one happen are the best we have come across.

This was our second stay at Amikka. The condo is beautiful, well maintained, spotless, and has wonderful views. We love the separation of having one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals in the condo, or there are many restaurants in the immediate area. Andrea and Mike were very responsive in the lead-up to our stay, and property manager Chris was great. In fact, Chris helped us find a place to stay when our flight was cancelled and we had to wait an extra day to fly home and there was nowhere else to stay!

The Bi level condo was beautiful and well equipped.

Everything was just perfect! We could tell the moment we entered the condo how warm and generous the owners were. We felt like family/friends instead of renters. We were in Barbados for a family reunion and our place was the most exquisite and decorated beautifully. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

Condo on beach

Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the beach at the condo due to the heavy seaweed that was covering the beach. Going to the west side of the island provided nice clear beaches. The pool was very nice and so easy to access. Just walk out the lower bedroom sliding doors! Taxis are always parked out front and the island also has a taxi app very similar to Uber or Lift. You can pay on the app and save your cash.

Excellent location and facilities

Great property with all amenities you need. Great location was a little worried on our first night ( saturday) with noise from local bar. This must have just been saturday night occurrence as quiet all other nights. So many good points..Clean, close to beach and some good restaurants. Pool could probably benefit from a few more loungers but these are just small points really.

Wonderful!

This was our first time visiting Barbados. It was beyond our expectations. The property and location in the St Lawrence Gap are perfect. Right in the beach and easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay at Sapphire Beach!

This was our third stay in St Lawrence Gap, second time with the kids, and this was our favourite place to stay! The apartment is beautiful - although the photos are accurate, the place is even better in person! The space is very well maintained, very clean, and ideal for a family. We and the kids enjoyed having our own space on each floor. The view from the balcony is beautiful, the beach is only steps outside the door, and our daughter enjoyed the pool. Check-in and check-out were easy and Keisha was lovely. There are two convenience stores close by, restaurants within walking distance, and many tours pick you up right at your door. We love Barbados and it was especially hard to leave this fantastic place to stay. We’ll be back!

Another Sapphire vacation

We have stayed at Sapphire Beach several times but this was the first time in this unit. The condo has a remodeled kitchen and is clean and well equipped with games. The hosts were easy to communicate with and Keisha, the property manager was very helpful and dealt with all questions promptly. I would recommend this unit!

Amazing property for 2 couples

We had a fantastic week with our group of 2 couples and the property is perfect for that with 2 huge double bedroom suites. The apartment was really well equipped, especially the kitchen. Location couldn't have been better in the heart of St Lawrence gap. We loved the split level with direct access to the pool from the ground floor and an amazing view of the sea from the massive first floor balcony. Thanks to the hosts for providing such a great apartment and the excellent communication from them on the run up to our stay.

We will be coming back

This property ticks all of our boxes. Clean, modern, comfortable. I believe that every amenity has been thought of. Including a fridge with ice maker and water dispenser, beach towels, drink cooler, pots and pans, quality bedding and towels and more. Easy access to the pool and beach, not sure what more we could ask for.

Third time ….

Yet again another excellent stay at Mike and Andrea’s lovely apartment. Great property with direct access to a pool and the beach. The lively evening attractions of St Lawrence Gap are a 10-15 minute stroll away. Check in check out was very easy. Great communication as always from Mike and Andrea. Dover beach is one of the best on the island IMHO. If you need a reliable driver call Jamal on +1 (246) 833-6180. He’s professional, punctual and knowledgeable (as well as great company). He also responds to WhatsApp

Fabulous Vacation

Beach and pool right at your doorstep…best of both worlds. Our condo was clean and comfortable. Several restaurants and bars within a short walk. Owners were prompt to reply and very pleasant.

Great stay on the Gap

This property is perfect. The pool is right outside the door. The beach is just outside the pool area. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent on the beach. The sand on the beach is soft and does not get hot under your feet. The view of the pool and ocean from the balcony is fabulous. The condo was very clean and it has a great layout of 1 bedroom and bath downstairs and 1 bedroom and bath upstairs by the living room and kitchen. There were many great restaurants in walking distance. My parents and my husband and I loved our stay here and enjoyed the island.

Perfect spot!!

Great experience staying at Sapphire beach for my second time! The pool and the ocean being right in front of you is perfect for beach lovers and pool side dwellers alike! Lots of amenities close by. Only negative would be is the roasters crowing at 4:00 am but it does become kind of comical. Hope to visit sometime again soon!

Great first time to Barbados.

I believe we had one of the best condo units in the building. Beach was great. Saw 2 Sea turtles swimming. Lots of good variety of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely recommend this condo building to anyone looking about vacationing in Barbados. I hope to be back.

Sapphire Condo Feb 23

This condo is in an excellent location. There are multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance. From the bottom floor bedroom, you walk directly out to the pool. From the top floor, you have a beautiful view of the ocean directly in front of you from the balcony. The condo is extremely clean and has everything you could possibly need in kitchen utensils and appliances. There are several taxis close by willing to take you anywhere on the island. We did the Mount Gay Rum tour, and a tour of the island. It is a beautiful country and very safe. The property manager checked in with us twice during the week to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would highly recommend this condo for two couples, or a family of four.

Fantastic Stay!

We just stayed a month at Amika and had a most enjoyable stay. The property is amazing and a great home away from home, located next to the pool and right on Dover Beach. For those travelling to Barbados, this is where to stay!
