Easy check-in, good place to park, and the VRBO had all the necessities for an enjoyable weekend. Great place to bring your furry baby. The BEST is the VIEW of the Missouri River. The location is also very close to the Remington Nature Center, which was wonderful to explore.

The cabin was very nice and easily accessible. We really enjoyed the views of the Missouri River from the double set of large glass doors. The setting was very quiet if you don’t count the train whistles which I don’t mind at all but should be noted if you’re a light sleeper. Disposable earplugs were actually provided which was a thoughtful touch. Everything in the cabin was comfortable and well thought out. I also appreciated that parking was right near the door since I like to keep my vehicle close. If you enjoy nature and bird watching this was a nice place to stay, the swallowtail birds swoop around constantly and we also got to see a horned owl sitting in a nearby tree. Overall, it is a serene place to stay with lovely river views.

Neighborhood iffy cabin adequate

The cabin itself was clean and was located very close to the river which we wanted. The neighbors rv's and camping trailers and then like a boat storage place. There weren't outdoor seats to enjoy the view like the pictures. I was looking forward to a nice bonfire but without chairs we decided to stay inside (weather got bad anyway)

St Joe Trip!

We brought our boys up to go snowboarding at nearby ski resort. We were so pleased with the location and outdoor space. Our boys loved being outside with space to roam. It would be a great summer place to visit as well.

The view of the river was wonderful. The fire pit with wood was really great! This is a duplex and we were on the side closest to the parking. The people staying on the other side had to walk back and forth in front of our windows or behind us if we were sitting outside. That was very awkward. Owner was not flexible about arrival and departure times.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed the stay, beautiful view of the Missouri river, had all the comforts of home. Loved bringing our fur boys with and enjoyed the large patio. It was actually close enough to shopping and restaurants but still distant enough

Great getaway!

This property was a great location for a couple of buddies to hang out and catch up. Very clean..housekeeper did a great job. The ac was running when we got there which was great on a hot day. The beds were comfortable. It was nice and quiet while we sat outside admiring the view of the river. Easy to get to and the owner did a good job of communicating directions and check in/out instructions. of

The property was not kept well. Grass was a foot high. Kitchen decent. Uncomfortable bed. Beautiful river setting but grass so high you could not get to it easily. Could be a great place

This is a perfect property for my business travel. It was a quiet get-away from the days work, yet had excellent Internet connection for the work I still needed to day. This will be my "go-to" place when traveling in the St. Joseph area in the future.

River Relaxation!!

Perfect spot for a weekend break from the cities. Wife and I came down for the weekend to see some family. Everything we would have needed was provided. The host was great. The property was clean, spacious, and the view! Will be returning to rent again for sure!

Cabin on the Missouri

We enjoyed our stay. We were just making a quick stop for the night and it suited our needs. Once we unpacked our car, we stayed put for the night. It's not really close to any restaurants but we liked the restful atmosphere. And it was dog-friendly - always a plus!

Beautiful, peaceful Getaway

Sit by the River, listen to the birds, watch the eagles, feel the breeze, and have access to lots of great restaurants, all kinds of music, shopping and historic sites. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, wi-fi and Roku TV. Very clean, and if you’re lucky you might get to meet a sweet dog named Finn. If you want an “upscale” resort with amenities this is probably not your spot, but we LOVED it! Thanks, Anthony for being a thoughtful host. 😊

Mimosas and Floppy Hats Getaway

This was a girl's getaway trip. It was amazing!!! Everything we were looking for, semi-isolated, by the water, bbq grills, hammock chair. It was perfect place for one of us to set up and paint, and another loved being able to fish. We had such a a good time!! Anthony was the perfect host, and really provided us with a clean, safe cabin for us ladies. I'm giving 5 stars, because it was perfect. I'm even planning another trip ASAP with just me and my husband. I highly recommend this rental.
