Luxurious room

Had a very good stay.Room is very comfortable and the location is great.Going through the restaurant to get to the elevator did not bother much.Do not expect a full kitchenette in the room. There is a fridge ,microwave, Keurig coffee machine,cups and glasses. The rest is found in an area on the same floor.

Fabulous Room, Great Location.

This is our 2nd time to stay at this property. It is the perfect location for us when we visit St Johns. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Newfoundland.

Downtown location

Such a beautiful property! VERY spacious room with luxurious bathroom. Can't beat the downtown location. The only downside was having to walk into a busy restaurant to get in and out. Would definitely book again.

Downtown St. John’s stay

Was an ok visit. Good location and ease of check in. The kitchen does not exist unfortunately, we did see the communal kitchen but there was 0 utensils to use, it was a jug and a grill toaster only and the jug wasn’t working?. In the room there was a coffee machine but it said it needed descaling and there was no coffee mate or sugar. TV was huge but voices to sound not in sinc so couldn’t really watch it. Overall it’s ok value for money. Great cafe at alt hotel over the road!

Good central location

Aircon was very difficult to operate controls non existent. TV remote needs an instruction book for use. Shower needs a thorough scrub, mould in corners. Laundry was excellent. Needs cutlery and crockery in the unit not in the kitchen. Great central location.

Beautiful option for Downtown St Johns

These rooms are immaculate and beautiful. The location is perfect for a downtown stay. The restaurant downstairs is one of the best new restaurants in the city. The hosts are very quick to respond and I cannot wait to stay again!

Excellent bathtub, nice bed and linens, and attractive design elements. Location was convenient but it needs to be stressed that this suite is immediately above a busy restaurant and access is gained by walking through the restaurant. On the down side, the washlet aspect to the toilet never functioned (but it did flush), a missing set screw caused a sink tap to fall off, some peeling wallpaper and chips out of the bathroom cabinet. As there is a large hotel immediately across the street it would have been nice to have sheer curtains to draw instead of only the blackout drapes. Critically, the main stairwell (and fire exit) was full of garbage and restaurant supplies leaving the elevator as the main route to get out.

Luxury apartment in a great location

My husband and I booked this apartment for two weeks. It was in an excellent location for us. We wanted to stay in the downtown area of St.. John’s and this was very central. In walking distance to loads of restaurants & bars plus many tourists sites. The apartment was first rate, incredibly clean with exceptionally clean linens and towels. The bed and furniture was very comfortable. JP was a very good host who quickly responded to any questions. The air conditioning worked good for us. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment.. JP also organised a discounted rate for parking at the Alt hotel that was conveniently located right across the street. Thank you JP for a great stay.

Good rental!

Thé location alone of this property makes it worth it. The room was clean and large. The Bathroom is amazing! The ad mentioned a gym, however there was none and when I asked the owner he didn’t respond. The AC in the room wasn’t working properly, you would sent it to a temp and as soon as the room hit that the whole system would restart to a warmer no ac temperature. The check in was pretty easy, just we weren’t told it was in the bottom of a restaurant (which you have to walk through to get in and out) so it took us a minute to realize where it was. But all in all it was a good stay! The ‘issues’ we had where minor and I am still likely to reccomend this property to anyone.
