The location was great in terms of functionality , and nearness to activities and historical sites. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the generosity of supplies that were available in the apartment. Although the music until late in the night was a bit of an issue, to be fair we were forewarned that that would be the case. We had difficulty contacting the host when we wanted to modify our booking, but when it came to checking in when we were there, communication was very effective.

Nice property, tough to get a hold of managers though

It's a cute little unit with convenient access to downtown St. John's. Whoever was upstairs apparently had young children who loved to run laps inside so except some noise from that unit. There's also a club across the street that will play music until late at night; you can hear it very clearly from the living room/kitchen but it's not that audible from the bedroom. I had a lot of trouble trying to contact the property manager - he did not respond through the VRBO app until I left a few voicemails (never spoke directly), and then did not actually resolve my request until after I found his email address (which I only did after a few unanswered messages in the app and voicemails).

Not a complaint. However the music from across the road is very loud and goes till 1am even though the quiet hour starts at 11pm per the house rules

Great Location Great Apartment

This is the main floor unit in a 2 unit building. There are people above you and you can hear them if you they are walking around. However, this did not bother me as I knew there would be people above us.The layout of the apartment is great. Kitchen when you walk in and bedroom and bathroom at the end of the unit. The kitchen had everything we needed except for lobster crackers for the lobster supper we made in the unit.The location is right at the end of George Street, but the noise was not an issue to us at all. With the layout of the unit the noise seemed very quiet on the busy weekend nights. The location is great for walking George Street.The location is amazing for walking all of St. John's actually. We walked everywhere we wanted.The days we had a car, we parked on the street (paid parking) but their was always a spot right outside the unit.If we return I would definitely look into booking either this unit or even the upper unit for our stay.

Downtown stay in St.Johns

Ease of apartment layout is good. Bathroom and bedroom very clean and pleasant. Everything you need .with exception of couch. It was hard to get out of ,as it is low and folds into centre ,so you dont sit straight. The chairs for table are also not to confy. The bed was definitely comfy .Slept like a log! Kitchen was packed with everything you need to cook . We are leaving a few drinks here as we cannot finish them . New and unopened. I would recommend this property. We could walk to all the areas and down town we needed to walk to and uber found us fine for other trips . The guides and maps were helpful ! And thebwasher and dryer was great .
