I recently celebrated my 70th birthday at this stunning property, and our entire group fell in love with the house—particularly the breathtaking views, which are even more impressive in person. The accommodation itself is beautifully presented, with high-quality furnishings throughout, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition that we all thoroughly enjoyed.The location is excellent—just a short walk down to the beach (although a bit of a climb back up, which we didn’t mind!), and conveniently close to a local supermarket. We also took the train into St Ives one day, which was incredibly easy—it only took a few minutes and cost very little.One of the highlights for me personally was lying in bed and looking up at the stars through the roof light positioned directly above—it was a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more special.Overall, a fantastic property in a brilliant location. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it.

A fabulous property at an excellent location with amazing views! We had a wonderful time here, the place was so comfortable, with everything we needed. Easy walk to St Ives and Carbis Bay, the views were incredible and we had a fantastic week. The Tescos next door was really handy too. And the hosts were superb!!

Amazing spacious property with fabulous sea views in a lovely quiet area but great location. Walking distance to the beach and train station, with regular bus service to St Ives. Great communication with the hosts, Neil & Lisa. Property finished to a very high standard and very well equipped, the owners have thought of everything you might need. Extremely comfortable beds, great en-suites. Wonderful hot tub. Would highly recommend this property and will return. Thank you for a wonderful few days and hope to return next year.

What a super place to stay and a much needed break with teens mid term. The property was easy to find and beautifully clean. Everything had been thought of from a well equipped kitchen to 4 super double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and really comfortable beds. My daughter loved the TV in her room snd the hot tub and we enjoyed the wood burning fire. The owners communicated so well ( although we didn’t need anything) and the proximity to Carbis Bay beach was great. Despite the weather ( October and inevitably windy and rainy) the view did not disappoint and the chairs overlooking the picture window made a morning coffee and afternoon tea all that better. I would highly recommend this property, one of our top stays and we have been to a lot of places!

The property was not suitable for our family members with mobility issues. Whilst both guests could walk with walking aides, the steps both front and back were difficult/impossible for them. The host provided a folding portable ramp on day 3. It was helpful but had to be moved between the two areas of the back entrance, on to a main road. It took all 3 of our male guests to facilitate getting our ladies in and out of the property. We requested single bed configurations for two of our rooms. Not done for arrival. I messaged the host, he said it was difficult to do, and would not be done until Monday. We had arrived the Saturday. This may have contributed my Aunt falling out of bed and suffering significant bruises. The large first floor bed room was described as a king bed, sofa bed and futon bed. This appealed because we had planned for 3 ladies all cousins to share this room. In fact there was only a king bed that was usable as a bed. The other bed options were ikea style fold out seating without mattresses and completely unsuitable for use as adult beds. Caused a problem who would sleep in the bed, resulting in the 3rd cousin making a bed on a sofa in the lounge. This house is offered as sleeps 10 people. It would be very comfortable for 8 people in couples. It didn’t work for 8 people not in couples. It was a well fitted kitchen great for family dining. The hot tub???no instructions, lighting/music facilities didn’t work. Maintenance chap couldn’t show us how to set it.

Gardenside is an absolutely amazing find. What a holiday home. The house interiors are so homely and it’s so clean on arrival.The views are just the ‘wow’ factor from the lounge and main bedroom.And the beds are very comfy. The only thing the house lacks is a welcome pack and information leaflets for what’s around to do. Taxi numbers etc Perfect spot for families. A walk to Carbis Bay beach is so lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will highly recommend your holiday home and will definitely come back again. Emma & family

This property was absolutely perfect. Equipped with everything you would possibly need. Tesco is walking distance if you are feeding a large family. We chose to drive half way down to Carbis bay and walk the rest.

Amazing holiday home in Carbis Bay

Stunning property with brilliant facilities which very comfortably accommodated our family of 9 of various ages. The check in and check out process was very simple. Any questions we had were answered quickly through the app. Carbis bay is beautiful. We all enjoyed the hot tub and amazing scenery with much time in the evenings spent around the large table playing games. Overall a fabulous place to stay, which I’ve already recommended to friends and family.

Property was exactly as described, well presented and spotlessly clean. The downstairs layout was well thought through and comfortable with large dining table and great kitchen facilities. Large well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms and the bed in the master suite was so comfortable I had to seek details from the owners of where I could get one.Limited use was made of the hot tub, but it was serviced twice during our stay.Parking was easy for our three cars and the EV charger was a big help. Location was good for all we planned to do and easy access to supermarket was a bonus.Local dining options were good, which given two vegans in the group was a plus.The weather was kind and we had a great week

Amazing stay

We have just returned from the most amazing stay here in Carbis Bay. The house was fabulous, very well equipped, nice bright open, airy spaces. Plenty of space to bother be together and have privacy. Ideal location with stunning views. Very good communication with hosts. Megan & family.

We had an amazing stay. Neil and Lisa were very quick to respond to any concerns or requests that we had. The location was perfect. It was also well equipped with everything you might need. The hot tub was cleaned twice while we were there. The windows were also done so the maintenance on this house is well taken care of. We would love to stay again

50th birthday getaway

Wow this house is amazing. Great location with sea views . Beautifully modern and clean . We stayed as a group of 8 and had plenty of room . Highlights were the hot tub and outdoor area . The hosts went above and beyond and always answered queries quickly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again .
