Can't find anything negative to say!! So friendly, nothing was too much trouble for the team! Hottest was delicious and, being cooked to order meant it was piping hot!! Small car park but never had a problem finding a space. Highly recommend this place!!!!

Excellent breakfast, served very quickly. Very clean hotel, with comfortable beds. The bedroom was very warm in the hot weather; even with the windows open, it didn't cool down much. The night-time smoking area is at the front of the hotel so there can be a lot of chatting in the night heard through the open front windows. The road is quite narrow and on a hill, but there seems to be a lot of traffic on it which is quite noisy - again through the open windows at the front. If we had stayed at a cooler time of year, then all of the negatives would disappear because the bedroom would be cooler and the windows would be closed. Overall very good value hotel and good for a short stay.

The breakfast was fabulous....compliments to the Chef!!! The downside is that the lift doesn't work....and I don't believe it has worked for sometime now.....And we were on the third floor!!!! Good value for money though and lovely friendly staff Would return if i could book a room with a balcony.

Apparently the lift is still broken. Longest lift repair in history. Should be in the record books. 61 steps to my room after a long trek up the hill from the centre of St. Helier. You don't see anyone for days, guests or staff. Occasionally I met other guests catching their breath on the stair climb after they had run out of puff! LOL. Check in and out times are ridiculous. The standard of the cleaning is spectacular. Cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Thank you room cleaners.

Basic hotel, but friendly and value for money

This is the 7th time I have stayed here in the last 11 years and, as usual, everything was good. Let's be clear, it's a basic hotel and people should understand that from the price per night. Having said that, you get a friendly welcome, a fantastic breakfast and a clean, well kept room. There is no air conditioning so be aware when it's hot outside, it'll be hot in your room. There is only a small lift that was actually out of order. This doesn't worry me but if you have trouble with stairs, then may be this isn't the place for you. I have absolutely no complaints though and will be looking to stay here again the next time I visit Jersey.

A great value friendly hotel!

We booked a triple room for a 2 night stay. Started with a friendly greeting from the reception lady. Called in to drop off our bags a couple of hours before check-in, they said our room was ready. The room was well decorated and very clean. The location was perfect, out of town but only a 10-15 minute slow stroll to the centre of St Helier. The breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. A great stay, great value for money, we will definitely use again if returning to St Helier

Not much

Good location. Nice room. But not very clean. And not much respect for your intimacy (towels will be changed during breakfast time despite the fact you indicated there was no need for it). Not much attention is paid to you during breakfast and you might have to be satisfied with a continental breakfast (english ones have to be ordered).

Basic hotel close to town

The hotel is in a good location just a short walk to st helier town centre. We had a room with balcony and the room size was fine the en suite was ok but could have done with a shower screen as water soaked the bathroom floor while using the in bath shower. Otherwise the hotel was fine but basic facilities. The breakfast choice is good and served quickly and always cooked nicely if you have the full English. They don't have a proper bar lounge area just a small area with some seats and drinks in locked fridges if you'd like to order then ask the staff if you can find them or use the internal phone. Its fine for a budget hotel. Cleanliness was good.

Decent location and value for money

A lovely 5 night stay, clean modern bedroom, fresh towels every day. Will definitely use again as great value for money. Tea and coffee making facilities and a full size hair drier was a bonus.

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis

Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl, aber bei dem Preis hatte ich schon sowas erwartet. Habe trotzdem gut geschlafen. In seiner Kategorie ist das Hotel absolut zu empfehlen.
