The host was inattentive. The amenities were poorly maintained. We reported a major water leak dripping into the kitchen on heads on saturday. A handyman came out on Monday but could only observe. The refrigerator was failing, we notified on saturday, no response till I called again On Sunday, the (very pleasant) handyman came on monday but could not fix. We lost most of our food. At my request, they did reimburse the cost of this food, I must acknowledge. There was no garbage disposal in this fancy house. There were inadequate towels and NO spare blankets. And it got down to 30 one night! The location was lovely and the bedrooms acceptable. The bones of the house are good but it needs attention.

Review

The house was beautiful we did have a few issues arose but nothing major. We ran out of propane on day 1 which was a tad frustrating, and the sink needed batteries which was a first for me. But it was a lovely house and we all enjoyed it very much.

Retirement Vacation Trip

The home was beautiful, clean and large enough for a lot of people to stay comfortably. It has been newly remodeled and very roomy. There were 10 adults with 2 toddlers and plenty of space to spread out. The King beds were comfortable.The screened-in pool area was another story. We rented this home solely for the screened-in pool area. Being Floridians we know how bad the outdoor insects are. We arrived to find a couple of screens torn from the frame and several had large holes in them. The doors were broken and the patio area was dirty however the pool was clean. This was a huge let down! We contacted management and sent photos. We received a quick reply with an apology and was told the property manager would come out. The property manager never showed and we weren’t contacted again until a couple days before we checked out. Once again they apologized but nothing was ever done. The property was listed as “Your private screened in pool awaits!” That was a huge disappointment to say the least.The property is close to the beach and has a pool but did not provide beach towels so you may want to check before you come. The review asked to rate the “Property Manager” which I gave one star since they never came out or contacted us regarding the screen situation. The rest of the staff I communicated with I would give a 5 star rating, they were very prompt with the communication and were under impression the property manager had contacted us.

Beautiful Home!

Very accommodating and absolutely gorgeous for our large group. The pool was a perfect bonus for our grandbabies! Everyone had enough space to function and had their own room. A few negatives but not a game changer; The pool was dirty when we arrived, as well as the outdoor shower.The dining room chairs had nails sticking out of the cushions and poked my daughter and son in law while we were trying to eat dinner.For a house that sleeps 17, we thought it should have more plates to eat on.Lastly, there were no grilling utensils.You have a booster chair, pack n play, and a crib! Very nice! A baby gate would have been the perfect touch with all the stairs.Overall, we rate the house a 4.8 out of 5. We would definitely recommend this house and stay again!!Thank you!!

Family vacation

We brought our entire family (12 adults, 4 children) for a weeks stays. The house is beautiful, well kept with everything you need. The pool is great, video games, ping pong, bikes, kayaks . The house never felt crowded, there was space for everyone. We enjoyed the house and St George Island!

Nice place for large group

The pool area was nice and the kids loved it. Views from the balconies were beautiful. Not a bad walk to the beach. We never did figure out how to turn the light on in the downstairs bedroom. And could use some minor repairs. It would be helpful if the remotes were labeled. And if the fans in the pool area worked we did enjoy our time there!

Great family place!

We had 16 adults (19-88) celebrating my 80th birthday. The location was perfect with lots of privacy in native Florida surroundings. We all enjoyed having fun in the pool and on the beach every day. The younger generation enjoyed fishing, kayaking and 3 of the bikes were usable. Be sure to bring extra towels, beach towels and kitchen towels.

Nice Rental

The home was lovely - the location, rooms, etc. Only one of the several bikes available was in working order. One of the games in the game room was broken, which was disappointing for the children traveling with us. Some of the chairs were on the verge of breaking, so we didn’t use those. There was also a statue in the stairway that was broken and had the broken pieces lying around the base of it. The listing stated there was a highchair available. I messaged the manager 3 times, before checking in, to confirm the highchair would be there. She never gave me a straightforward answer and always responded with “with have partnered with BabyQuip for all your travel needs”. So I assumed the listing was correct - it was not. It would have been nice to know that we needed a highchair and I wish the management would have been direct in their communication.

Great location, house needs some work

Great location in the Plantation. I would not stay here again - there were just enough things that were bothersome. The sheets, towels and carpets were stained. The porch furniture was really dirty and although I asked during check in for someone to come clean it, no one ever did so we could even utilize 3 of the 4. Although there were a lot of bikes available, most were so rusted they weren’t useable.

Happy Trails

Our family group of 6 adults and 5 children (age 13 and under) fit comfortably in the house and there was ample space inside and out to accommodate everyone for meals. The walk to the very private beach was pretty direct and took 8-10 minutes to walk. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great place

This is a nice, clean house just a short walk to the beach or Bayshore. They have stocked it with just about everything you would want for an outdoor activity from bicycles to kayaks and fishing poles! The pool was very nice and offered another choice for getting wet. Although this is a community, the way it is laid out gives every lot privacy and you will quickly forget you have neighbors! There are a few maintenance items that need to be taken care of but nothing major. We will definitely be back!

Great house for big family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room for my parents, siblings and our kids. We loved all the big decks with plenty of seating and the convenience of being such a short drive or walk to the beach. Ashley, the host, was super responsive when needed and we’d definitely stay here again.

St. George island

We stayed 7 days exploring,enjoying, the sights and beach around St George island. Beach was beautiful and scenery breathtaking Can hardly wait to return The house was great meeting all expectations Only thing I would change is the tool door locks didn’t work or were missing especially on bathroom’s . We only had a couple minor issues the hostess addressed them very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

House was nice but needs maintenance

Overall, we had a good time spending the week with family. The house is in need of routine cleaning/maintenance. For example, the pool area was dirty with mold in corners and old leaves around. The cleaning crew did a poor job prior to our arrival with dirty sheets being left on the beds. We had to change and wash sheets before going to bed the first night. The silverware was dirty in the drawer. The shower handle in the upstairs bathroom was broken - we reported but they did not fix it during our stay. They did offer compensation for our trouble with the sheets lol. The house and beach is very secluded. We were the only ones on the beach. Overall, we were slightly disappointed mostly in feeling dirty throughout our stay.
