Perfect Home

This was one of the few times a rental property has exceeded expectations. The home was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well-appointed and the home was in pristine condition. Look forward to returning next year!

Peaceful is exactly right

Beautiful home. Stunning views. Efficient communication with Gina. We had ages 19-78 and all enjoyed. Highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!

We've been going to SGI for 20 years and this was by far our best experience. Gina was wonderful with information and instructions. Her home is absolutely wonderful. She has truly thought of everything for a smooth vacation. Will be staying again.

What an amazing week in Ms Gina’s house. So happy with the location, the house, the beds. The kitchen and living spaces indoor and out. The pier and watching crabs was so much fun along with fishing from kayaks. We had such a spectacular week there and will be anticipating another stay in this house

Beautiful house

This is an amazing property in a truly stunning location. The house comfortably held our 2 families of 3 and 4. The use of the kayaks and bikes meant we were able to get the most out of this wonderful area of Florida. Gina was a great host and we hope we can return from the U.K. one day.

Beautiful house! Clean and spacious. We love SGI and the Plantation. We were so impressed with the house and all the amenities. The sunsets in the bay are the best. Great pier with side rails/ropes for the small ones and the elderly. Elevator was great for all our gear and my 82 yr young mom. Easy water access for our kayaks. Host was very prompt to or questions and anything we needed. What more could you ask for?! Loved every minute.

Peaceful Location

This lovely home is modern,spacious and has all the ammenities of home plus more. Kayaking was great, pool a nice size and dock great for fishing and sunsets.

Such a wonderful home and location. Very unique Sandy white beach on the bay. Amazing home and wonderful view. Gina was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

New favorite!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! The house was lovely and had everything you could need! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, great fishing, and convenient beach access thanks to the bikes! We’ve never stayed at a place so well appointed, and we’ve been vacationing at SGI for over 30 years! To top it all off, communication with Gina was incredible! She was quick to respond to whatever questions we had and was so accommodating! I’m sure more stays at Peaceful Haven are in our future!

This property is all you want or need. The interior is peaceful and beautiful, reflecting outside view of the bay. Perfectly set up, it’s easy to prepare a gourmet meal in the kitchen. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for a getaway from the rat race.

Wonderful Week

The property was brand new, well-appointed, beautiful, and close to the beach. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, riding bikes, and cooking. The elevator was a plus for luggage and groceries, and the views were phenomenal. This is probably the best VRBO I’ve ever rented, and Gina was so very helpful :)

Family Vacation

Our family has vacationed in SGI for years. This was the first time we stayed on the bay side and it was wonderful. The boys fished and crabbed from the dock. We saw sharks and stingrays everyday. The house was beautiful.

Beautiful Peaceful Haven

This property is beautiful! It has spectacular views of the bay with an unbelievable sunset. Very spacious. We especially loved the kitchen and the screened porch off the living area. The pool and elevator are also a plus. We’ve already booked another trip!

Wonderful property!

We had a lovely stay at Peaceful Haven. House was open, spacious and beautifully decorated. It was great the owners had some essentials available and they were very responsive. The views were incredible and the beach was just a short nature trail walk away. We made a great decision to rent the chairs, kayaks and bikes. Pool was inviting and great after hours at the beach. Gorgeous property!

Peaceful Haven

We had an amazing stay at Gina's house. The house was beautiful, clean, stocked with essentials, great location, really I could on and on! We really enjoyed the private pool along with the beautiful dock. The sunsets we enjoyed on the dock will never be forgotten. Excellent communication with Gina. Check in and check out process was simple without issues. We hope to return to Gina's beautiful home someday!

Best Vacation Home Ever

Absolutely fantastic home in a terrific location! Suggest future guests read the details of previous reviews as they are all positive and all accurate. One thing I didn't see in other reviews is to spend time walking slowly back and forth on the super long dock and you will see all kinds of awesome sea creatures. Gina and her family have done an incredible job designing and building their home and they thought of everything to make it the very best for guests. Thank you for sharing your home!

Fishing Paradise

A bald eagle greeted us on our arrival. The house has a beautiful layout with a wonderful chef’s kitchen which came in handy when some bad weather blew in. Dock takes you 300 feet into the bay where you can watch stingrays swim, hermit crabs crawl, and fish jump. The heated pool was a pleasure to enjoy and the kayaks gave us an amazing experience of the bay. The bikes allowed us to get to the gym and pickle ball courts easily. Thank you for providing such a wonderful house. We will definitely be coming back. We definitely recommend the property.

Perfect Home for a Family Vacation on the Bay

We’ve been visiting SGI for the last 30 years and the views from Peaceful Haven were the best we’ve experienced. Whether sunrise, midday, or sunset…the views of the bay were absolutely gorgeous! The home itself is simply beautiful, both inside and out, and well-appointed with everything you could possibly need. The service elevator was a blessing for my elderly father who struggles with stairs, and this made his trip so much more enjoyable. There was plenty of room for our family of eight, and we had the best vacation. Added bonus that the owner was so kind, personable, and easy to work with. This home is private, quiet, serene, and truly lives up to its name…Peaceful Haven. We can’t wait to come back!

“HEAVEN SENT” Peaceful Haven!!!

It actually makes me emotional writing this review to think that we (our family) were so blessed to have this time at this house! Staying on the bayside is just so calming, beautiful & picturesque. Have stayed in the Plantation over the years beachside & saw this house on VBRO & decided to check it out. ABSOLUTELY OUR MOST FAVORITE STAY!!! The homeowner was in contact keeping us abreast of weather conditions or any assistance that we might be in need of. Great correspondence & genuine. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Come visit for yourself, you won’t be disappointed & see why it has such an appropriate house name.. MANY Thank You’s from our whole family

10/10 Would rent again!

This bayfront home is beautiful. The interior is stunning. Comfortable beds, Kitchen and dining area well thought out. We loved the screened in porch. Super easy to kayak from the backyard to the bay. Having a private pool is an added bonus. I appreciated the elevator as my mobility fluctuates on a day to day basis. We have been to SGI many times and this home is easily our favorite. Great communication with property owner too. We saw dolphins, a blue heron, the brown pelicans and a juvenile eagle while staying here. We also enjoyed watching the sun set while sitting on the bench at the end of the dock. Do not hesitate to rent this property.😊

Absolutely amazing!

I just stayed here with 3 other adults and 5 children. We would highly recommend staying here! You can watch the sunset off the dock and it’s a short 5 minute walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. The kids also enjoyed playing in the pool. The house was beautiful, clean, and has 5 bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. I enjoyed sitting on the deck having coffee and reading. My husband spent hours fishing off the dock. The kids kayaked in the bay. The property manager Gina was great with communication. She responded quickly and even sent messages about storm warnings in the area. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Peaceful Haven exceeds expectations

Wow! Our family had a fabulous time in Saint George. Peaceful Haven was the perfect property for our family of 10. The kitchen was stocked with all the kitchenware we needed to prepare large meals. We used the grill several times and it worked perfectly. Each family had a bathroom to themselves and an extra bath with a tub for our 4 grands. The outdoor areas were so nice. The grands loved the pool. My son in law spent many hours fishing from the pier. The adults enjoyed playing games on the screened porch after the kids went to bed. The beach is about a quarter mile away (easy walk even for the 2 year old). The beds were very comfortable and the home was immaculately clean. The sunset views from the upper deck were simply gorgeous! Who could ask for more!
