The property was great and our family we had a wonderful time! It was great to walk out onto the beach with our dog.The kitchen had everything I needed to cook for my family. The beds were very comfortable too! Definitely would rent this property again!

Great Location!

My family had an absolute blast at Boardwalk! SGI is really a hidden gem, and this property is located in the heart of it. The sunrises and dolphin sightings were majestic. The family dog had the week of his life! Thank you, Boardwalk!

Boardwalk was great!

What a great place and great location! Great, central, walkable location to all the restaurants and shopping on St George Island. Absolutely loved our stay on the island and Reggie is a great and attentive host!

Fantastic oceanfront house

We immensely enjoyed this rental! Some of our favourite things about this house were- the oceanfront location, it’s spaciousness, it was clean and easy to clean for our 2 week stay, its located near restaurants that are within walking distance, the island has an awesome bike/recreation trail to state park (we are cyclists and it was convenient), a very quiet beach is just steps away from the house, and the owner (Reggie) was friendly and quick to respond if we needed anything. We were able to relax over the holidays and the kitchen had everything we needed if we chose to eat in. Thank you for opening up your lovely home! We will definitely be back and hope to rent this place again!

Great relaxing Stay

No complaints at all about this property. The description and pictures are accurate, the house was very clean and neat, the kitchen well stocked. You are able to walk to everything from this location. The owner is very responsive to messages. Would definitely rent this unit again.

Nothing fancy, but a plus for beachfront location.

The property was as pictured in ads. However, it does need a deep cleaning. There is a layer of dust on fan blades and other areas and we had a layer of sand on the floor in the loft. We reported a problem with the ice maker on arrival, and it never worked the entire week. We had to buy bags of ice. The refrigerator is old (interior light also not working) and needs replacing, but other appliances seemed to all be in working order. The tub in the main bedroom did not drain well, but more importantly, there was no grab bar of any kind. I almost slipped twice taking a shower. These are things you don't notice until you get there, but if you are just looking for time on the beach, it should be fine.

Location was the only good thing

The property is very dated and has terrible theming. The property is overgrown. There is trash and old rusted chairs under the house. There was trash on the grill, but that also has weeds that are as tall as the grill itself. The boardwalk to the beach is uneven with boards missing and screws sticking out of it. The “energy efficient” refrigerator is simply old and not functioning well. We had to put our things in the freezer just to get them cold. There are absolutely NO AMENITIES! You are simply paying for a location on the beach. The towels are thin and small. You have to bring everything with you or purchase them on island. There was a hurricane and we had to evacuate after only a day. No refunds!! Which you read in your rental agreement after purchasing the VRBO. I tried to cancel this property after getting the rental agreement and also getting a message of an additional $100 charge and the whole thing gave me pause but the owner waived the fee and didn’t want to let me cancel even though it was less than 24 hours after the booking. I have stayed on the island several times and really wished I would have booked a property that was a little further from town, but like I said you are paying for the location and nothing else. This property is overpriced and there is nothing nice about it other than the view. We left due to the hurricane and found much nicer and cheaper accommodations elsewhere. This place needs some major love

Our stay here was amazing and the location is perfect to get to everything within walking distance or rent a bike and go all over! The beds and the kitchen had everything er needed to cook or grill also. Reggie was outstanding with any of our needs as well. We will definitely be back next year.
