We have a fabulous time! This rental was the best!!!! It had everything we needed and then some! The kids were well entertained with board games, corn hole, connect 4, ping pong, and the beautiful swimming pool. The house was clean and felt welcoming. It was a quick walk to the beach and drive to town. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Nice Location

We stayed in this house for a week in St. George. The property is very convenient to the beach and even a small Piggly Wiggly. The pool was wonderful, the kitchen was stocked very nicely. The cons were the Tv in the living room was so small, ceiling fan worked but the metal to it had fallen down and was hanging on rod, the refrigerator leaks water in both bottom drawers so we had to empty that out daily. We told the owner about this. Another downfall was there is no umbrella by pool, and a chair was broken. Location yes but needs updates.

We’d stay again

Location was great. House was clean and had everything we needed to cook. Make sure to bring toiletries though. We loved the washer and dryer and enclosed back staircase. Pool needed salt added and filter needed backwash. We thought the fenced yard had an entrance from the house, but it doesn’t. It was tough getting questions answered prior to booking. Communication was lacking.

Great location and awesome property!

This is a great place to stay for a multi family trip. Although the refrigerator had a fishy smell upon arriving that took a few days to resolve, I still give this place an over all 5 stars. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed and more. Just a short walk to the public beach or bring your boat and go on your own adventure. We love SGI and will definitely stay again! The property owner was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues!

Perfect Little Getaway

I can't recommend this property enough. This is our second time staying in SGI. The first time we stayed at a condo near the beach and while that was awesome we wanted to be a bit more secluded from everyone and have access to a private pool as well as a place for out tiny puppy. Beach Puppies was exactly what we needed. Even though this property isn't right off the beach, you still have a partial ocean view and it's literally a 4 minute walk till your feet are touching sand. My family and I like to walk (especially in the mornings / evenings when the temp isn't too hot). But you're about 8 - 12 minutes walking distance from the Blue Parrot, Shops and the SGI Lighthouse. Don't forget to do some stargazing. Even from the private balcony in the master bedroom, you could still make out the hazy Milkyway. If you have a nice camera, setup a shot on the beach and leave the shutter open for a few seconds for a truly magical shot. Going to the beach at night is an absolute must for stargazers though. You don't realize how much light pollution in the cities blocks out some of the most brilliant stars. The kayaks are very convenient, but you are responsible for getting them to the water. My wife and I didn't have a portable kayak mover and if we did, it would have made getting the kayaks to the water so much easier. Instead, we both took an end and carried it to the beach. If this place is available, don't hesitate to book it. The Schaafs

puppy palace

We brought all of our dogs for their first ever beach trip. Beach Puppies had all we needed for our stay. We did have to end our trip early because Hurricane Debby made an entrance. Beach was very convenient and rented a golf cart at Jolly Rogers and that was fun to drive around in. We hope to be back!!!

Our visit on July 4th week

Our Family really enjoyed the Beach Puppies. My bother in law brought his boat so He went out in it every day except the one day it rained. The water was calm and the pretties I have seen here. This is my 4th trip to the island. they saw many Sharks and caught a mess of Maui Maui. They where Delicious. We Recommend and will Be Back! The Pool was Awesome as well....

Amazing place

We were blown away. The pictures so the property no justice the living space is so much bigger then expected. The pool is also bigger than expected. My kids age 12-18 really enjoyed it. Having a private pool is a game changer.

Place to relax

We enjoyed the property. The pool was a bit hit as weather was not participating most of the week. Host promptly responded to any issues. The property has a considerable amount of deferred maintenance (inside & outside) but nothing that would prevent a relaxing week!

Best beach house!

Very accurate description and then some! More kitchen supplies than in our own home! Very spacious to get away from family if needed. lol! Owner was very attentive to questions we had and resolved pool issue very quickly! The pool was the best along with get AC! We will be back!!

Pet friendly, good location, needs some TLC

The good: Good location, nice pool, plenty of space inside and out, lots of kitchen appliances/utensils/dishes, lots of beach items (kayaks, paddle ball, corn hole, etc) included. Property manager answered texts/messages even on Thanksgiving. The less good: Everything needs a good spruce up...furniture, appliances, landscaping, extra blankets, decor...everything is just sorta dated and not super-well maintained. New pool, but construction materials left sitting in the yard. New fenced in dog-area, but it's both overgrown and bare at the same time. Railroad ties along the driveway are disintegrating with nails everywhere. Stuff like that. If it doesn't bother you, no worries. Nothing too bad and maybe during peak season it's better maintained, but not "5 star" when we visited around Thanksgiving 2023. Also, internet was fine but cable wasn't working while we were there. If you're there at a time (Thanksgiving, NYE) where you might want to watch TV, have a backup plan. All in all, if you want to visit SGI and bring a pet, this is a decent spot.

Great place!

Great house and great location. Very close to paddys raw bar. 3 minute cart ride. The beach is close and the pool is to die for. Best pool i have seen awhile. We will be back
