Getting into the property was easy. House was clean and set up nicely. Refrigerator needs replacing. We had problems with the freezer door on arrival but the host quickly told us about a known issue and we were able to remedy that. Our host Cape and Coast was very responsive on several occasions which we appreciate so much. Not enough hot water for 11 people to shower after the beach. All in all we had a great week. The grandkids and adults enjoyed the pool after coming in from the beach.

Renter Beware

This stay started off as a complete nightmare. We arrived after fully disclosing we would be traveling in an RV (just to park — not for occupancy), only to be told on arrival that it wasn’t allowed. This was never mentioned in the rental agreement and was fully disclosed before arrival. As a result, we lost an entire day of our vacation being offered to move houses the next day because the owner apparently didn’t want us there.To make matters worse, we discovered cameras on the property none of which were disclosed in the rental agreement. As a paying guest, I expect transparency, especially when it comes to privacy. Not disclosing surveillance equipment is unacceptable and, frankly, feels invasive.The rental company eventually stepped in and relocated us, and the new house was a much better fit. I give them credit for salvaging the experience. But the bottom line is this: if you’re booking this home, be aware that there are hidden rules buried in separate HOA documents, cameras not disclosed in advance, and a lack of upfront honesty that can derail your trip.Proceed with caution.

Quiet Vacation

If you are looking for seclusion, quiet beach vacation with minimal people and no traffic...this is the spot for you. Come prepared with food and supplies...the island is limited on grocery/shopping options. Beautiful white sand beach, with plenty of shelling...dolphins visited everyday. Personally I feel the kitchen is in need of a refresh from the cabinets and countertops to the warped pans, black cookie sheets, toaster with missing buttons and basics cooking essentials.

Family Vacation

Beautiful house and ocean view. Very convenient with easy access to beach, pool and community. The house is tastefully and comfortably decorated. Some problems with pool during stay, but property manager very responsive. There are a lot of stairs. Something to think about with little ones or older adults. We loved this house and would definitely consider another stay!!

Summer 2023

Latitude Adjustment is a wonderful, family friendly beach house-we couldn’t have been happier! The room sizes, porches, kitchen accommodated our family in the best way. We are anxious to get on the calendar for next year. The pool, outdoor bath area, and hot tub all were clean and much enjoyed by our whole family. Thanks to Cape & Coast for all you did in making our vacation awesome!

Great week with family

The property was excellent in location. Right on the beach with easy access. A lot of stairs but after 2 days we got use to it. The stairs were scary w the little ones so we had to block them off w furniture. The porch was nice but the seating was a little low so the railing hid the magnificent view. Overall loved our stay.

St. George Island Paradise

All 10 family members and friends had a terrific time. The 3-story house is very nice, clean and the views from the main floor spectacular, with daily dolphin sightings. The kitchen is equipped with everything imaginable and in large quantities, and the dining table has ample seating. The swimming pool was perfect after a hot day at the beach, which was very private, beautiful and full of sea life. Would definitively stay again.

Beautiful Beachfront Home

We loved this house! Being beachfront in the plantation was absolutely amazing. We felt like the only ones on the beach for what seemed like miles. We had a couple of maintenance issues the first day but they sent someone out the next morning and we had no other issues. The property was clean although you could tell there had been a dog there prior to our arrival- plenty of dog hair on the porch. The pool was nice and cool after a hot day on the beach and a great place for the littles to play. We loved that each family had their own room and bathroom. We can’t wait to hopefully rent this house again!

Dog friendly, private beach in exclusive area

Everything you’d want in a vacation house, even has a hot tub and water toys that weren’t in the description. The houses are far apart from each other and even on Memorial Day weekend the beach was almost empty. True privacy. Only thing missing is an elevator to get to the higher levels, lots of stair climbing, but that’s minor compared to the overall home and location.

Fantastic!

Beautiful property!! Would stay there again!! Accommodated a large family comfortably! We did have issues with the air conditioner. I tried to call the maintenance number 3 times and no response at all. Also called the main office and couldn't get through. Weird!!!

Peaceful and dog friendly

Great place if you want to avoid crowds and have an amazing view. Downsides are there are a lot of stairs. Beds and bedding is good but no extra blankets. Kitchen needs updated with new and improved dishes and utensils and kitchen towels and real pot holders. Up sides and nice beach towels provided and 250$ towards rental equipment- we got bikes and chairs both were nice. No beach stuff is provided except towels. I did call about the floors and the pool and they immediately sent someone to clean again. Thank you
