Would give the house 5 stars except for the fact that I had to call the manager several times. She was very responsive but I don't go on vacation to solve problems. Left a lengthy list of repairs needed. Most important was a missing spindle on third floor deck that would allow a child to fall through. Loved the location and the carport area was great with lots of seating. Can't beat the beaches on St. George.

This is just a beautiful home in paradise. It is the most well-stocked home with so many amenities that make life easier! You can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the decks.

Huge table to enjoy dinners with the entire family. Lots of seating all in main living room perfect for game nights and movies. Secondary living room on lower level was great for the young families who needed to feed babies and get kids ready for bed. Kitchen & appliances very well stocked. Tons of beach chairs & toys. Elevator was a plus too. Enjoyed being so close to the beach.

Best house ever

Family of 20…. House was extremely comfortable… we have stayed 5 times at St. George and this has been by far the best house we have had. When it lists items provided believe it as it had so many extras for our stay. Communication with the owner was fabulous. They answered so many of our questions. Beds were all very comfortable and house was so clean… we would recommend this place extremely high. Our next trip to St. George will hopefully be back to this place.

Family vacation

The property was 100% as advertised. COMPLETELY furnished with everything that we could have needed. Beautifully decorated, ocean front, large pool, 2 refrigerators and dishwashers, and so much more. At first I thought it was a little pricey but will have to say now that it was worth every cent. We'll be back for sure.

We have had several family beach vacations but this home offered the best accommodations to date. So clean, so comfortable, so stocked with everything! The owners really thought of our comfort....and when we had a question, they answered us promptly. Wonderful place to stay!!!

Lovely home in St George Island

It’s a lovely home right on the beach, and it comes with so much stuff! Plenty of chairs, spices, pantry staples, beach towels galore! The setup is great for large family gatherings, with a 20+ seat dining table and lots of plates, cups, flatware etc. The elevator was great, and the multiple appliances (fridges, dishwashers, dryers) came in handy. The boardwalk to the beach is nice and relatively flat so it’s easy to get to over the dunes. Owner/manager is easy to contact and responsive. Only a few small critiques - the house is not meticulously maintained - nothing major but there were broken shelves, fans, etc. And it’s clean but not meticulously so (eg hair on the bedding, grime and buildup on doors and light switches, etc) which isn’t a problem but just not expected at this price point. Also the Wifi can be spotty so having your own hotspot is key if fully reliable connections are needed. Overall a lovely stay.

We are Family

The property was very well described. We had 8 adults and 8 children ages 2 - 16. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, as well as lots of pool toys, beach chairs, and pretty much anything you might need. We have stayed on the island many times and this may have been the most comfortable house yet.

Great Location and Plenty of Space

Being right on the beach was amazing and the extra rooms fit our young adult/young married family well. The home is a reverse design with the kitchen and living on the top floor, which I did not pick up on when selecting the home. Not a deal breaker but this comes into play occasionally, especially grilling ( in a nice weber charcoal grill) two flights down. As other reviews have stated, this home is well stocked which does make this home very convenient! Loads of beach towels, several beach chairs, and a couple umbrellas. All the paper towels and tp needed for the week, hand soap at each sink, shampoos, and body wash, dishes and appliances. ( no box cheese grater, only zesters, so we did have zested cheese a couple times! ;) ) The kitchen area is tight, allowing only a couple people to cook or cleanup. The piggly wiggly on island is a very small but surprisingly well stocked grocery/gas station. If you need anything unusual for a recipe, make sure you bring it with you. We did rent bikes which was easy and fun. We did feel the home, particularly at a premium price, could have been cleaner. It needs an end of season detail cleaning, and maybe a light purging to clear extra tchotchkes and decor, thus the four not five star rating.

Annual Family summer beach vacation

Property everything needed. Had beach chairs, umbrellas and a tent. Had a kitchen that was well stock with knives, utensils, plates and cookware. Kitchen was a little small the big, long table was great for family meals. Elevator made it very easy to get all the food up to the third floor. Overall, a great experience.

Awesome House

Large home for our big family with plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Wish the weather had been better with storms and short term power outage on island not controllable. Any issues with house had a quick response from manager with attention to detail and comfort. Pool was clean and the beach towels nice to have. The kids' wing was great for grandchildren. Our favorite part was the large wood kitchen table with the outdoor table and high deck chairs to enjoy the evenings. Kitchen well stocked. Highly recommend and hope to be back again !

Wonderful

I was apprehensive about ‘pet friendly’ with this rental. We weren’t bringing pets. This home is sparkling clean with no hint of animal fur or scent. The description stated the home is well stocked with chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. It is beyond expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed for all nights cooking. The cookware is in perfect condition even the knives are sharp. The outdoor furniture on the 2 porches and pool area appears to be new. Very comfortable. The ocean front view is spectacular. Boardwalk to the beach in perfect condition. Elevator ran well. This is a fabulous rental.

We stayed at this wonderful home after our original rental in Captiva was impacted from Hurricane Ian. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves. One morning I looked up and down the beach as far as you can see and only counted 9 other people on the beach.

M’Ocean was a beautiful home and perfect location for our family. I didn’t give 5 stars because I felt it could be a little cleaner. The lamps,fans,baseboards were really dusty. A few electrical things stopped working, but none of these things hindered us from having a fabulous time. We would definitely stay again because we were carried away with the property and beach! Great week!

M’Ocean Carried is a beautiful house with all the things to make your stay carefree. 5 adult couples and we had plenty of space to gather. One person had to work virtually and the set up of the house made it pleasant for them, and gave everyone else freedom in the house. We loved gathering for dinner on the deck, while watching the seas. The pool area was great and with the fenced in area, we had the extra security of going in and out of the house with our fur babies. Brenda and John were wonderful and very responsive. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a stress free beautiful stay.

Perfect for our family

We’ve been looking for that perfect place we can continue to book year after year for our family vacations... M’Ocean Carried is it. Sunset dinners on the balcony were the best. Plenty of room for our family of 12. Rebooked for next year before we left.

Perfect Family Vacation Home
