This property was great. We saw dolphins everyday, often several times a day. The community is quiet and walkable/bikeable. The beach outside the villa was very nice. The check-out requirements were pretty minimal. The pool was nice, although chilly at this time of year. (Not heated.) As others have mentioned, there are lots of stairs in the unit, but it did not diminish our enjoyment of the property. The villa had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was really nice to have two separate bedrooms and two baths as well as laundry.

The customer service with Forgotten Shores was excellent. We had a few hiccups and Jamie was super kind and helpful. We didn’t realize it had 2 levels of tile steep steps. One flight as soon as you walk in and another set up to the bedrooms. It had a faint odor - not sure what it was. Beautifully decorated, excellent quality furniture inside and out. Overall, it is a nice place but the odor was bothersome.

We loved the beach view especial upstairs balcony with the longe chairs. The decor was beautiful every little detail.appreciated the beach equipment credit. The only thing we would say we had an issue with the tv couldn’t get cable and the streaming pls lagged awfully. SGI atmosphere so peaceful and laid back

We had a great stay! The condo was very clean & well equipped. The beds were very comfortable, also. The location can't be surpassed & we enjoyed the view of the Gulf of America. It was nice to have to pool to relax by, in addition to having the beach so near.

Our unit was amazing. Just like the pictures. It had everything we needed. It was close to everything. A few minor negatives were we did not get access to unit until probably 30 minutes past promised check in time. We had stopped for groceries before arriving but luckily had in cooler on ice. The pool area needs more attention. The garbage cans poolside would be overflowing at the end of the day. Garbage falling on ground. Chairs by pool badly stained. Ground around pool needed swept. Lots and lots of debris in pool. We only saw pool maintenance a couple times. Need garbage can by beach entrance. People just dropped garbage on way to and from beach - people didn’t want to access pool gate to use garbage can or take garbage to unit.

Wonderful!

Loved our stay in this condo on the beach! It’s perfectly located right on the Gulf, very clean, and in a cute little neighborhood. St. George is very easy to get around, as many attractions are within walking distance. Also, there’s a great bike path on the island that we were able to enjoy with the bikes we rented. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxing

We were notified we could check in early via text. This was definitely a plus. A bag of ice was waiting for us at our door. This was a great perk. Check in was very easy. The unit was clean and beautifully renovated. The beds were comfortable. Linens were very nice. Kitchen had all the basics for our cooking needs. We had the best beach views. The dolphins sitings were plentiful this trip. The very short walk to the beach was ideal. The pool was also great. We beach and pier fished through out our trip. We did lose one day of our rental due to hurricane Debby but we’re able to check right back in the next day. We would definitely stay again. The unit was in a great location. We also meet a lot of extremely nice visitors at the pool and on the beach. The only negative thing for us was the stairs. 12 to the main floor and 12 to the bedroom and most importantly the bathrooms. It is listed on the property description so we did know beforehand. Just didn’t realize how many times a day you need the bathroom. I would recommend people that struggle with stairs get a bottom unit. We wanted the view so we dealt with the stairs. Like I said earlier the view was worth it. We also loved the balconies on both floors. They could use some more comfortable chairs but we loved them none the less. The 3 queen beds and a sleeper sofa is great for larger parties.

Excellent beachfront view!

This unit, and St. George Island, are a great place to visit of you want to getaway from crowds and sit on the beach! It is centrally located on the island, great for exploring. The unit itself was very nicely decorated and clean. The only downside is the two flights of stairs to get to your luggage up to the bedrooms.

Steps a killer for elderly

Shocked that the unit had so many narrow, steep steps. Very hard for the elderly.. Was not mentioned in listing. Primary bed not a king size and sheets were not deep pocket so popped off all night. View was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed. Great beach view. The stairs may be an issue for some people. As soon as you walk in the door, you have to go up a set of stairs. You also have to go up another set of stairs to get to the bedrooms and the bathrooms. It wasn't an issue for us at all. Definitely would book again.

Lovely villa, great location

The only issues we had were #1 the oven thermostat wasn’t working. We alerted mgmt and I’m sure it has been fixed. We just didn’t want workmen in while we were there. #2. The cups were very porous and the dw didn’t get them clean. Had to use a scrubber to remove the stains. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend.
